Chapter 2286 - 2284: Half-step Saint of the Yazi Clan

Chapter 2286: Chapter 2284: Half-step Saint of the Yazi Clan

Perhaps some people have already forgotten, even Princess Zi Xuan has somewhat forgotten. In this Barbaric Forbidden Land, within this East State, there exists an extremely terrifying being. It can be said that this existence is the mightiest life form in the entire Barbaric Forbidden Land, and indeed, on the entire Earth. It is the Ancestor of the Yazi Descendants!

Back then, Ye Tianchen in the city of East State, offended both the Yazi Descendants and the Qiong Qi Descendants. These descendants of ancient alien races are strong and arrogant to the extreme, insisting on hunting down Ye Tianchen. This made Ye Tianchen, who had never shown weakness, filled with a murderous intent, drew his sword, and launched a massacre, killing numerous strong members of the Qiong Qi Descendants and completely obliterating a young Yazi from the Yazi Descendants!

When everyone believed that Ye Tianchen had stirred up great trouble and was surely dead, Ye Tianchen instead rose to fight, without the slightest fear. His character was just this way, recognizing only reason, not authority. Faced with beings attempting to oppress him with force, he would not compromise in the slightest. This was a matter of character, a matter of integrity!

However, before Ye Tianchen left the East State, he was struck by an unidentified finger force. Just a single finger force almost took Ye Tianchen’s life. Had it not been for the Holy Heaven Prison protecting Ye Tianchen, and Ye Tianchen’s powerful strength forming a shield of Chaos Qi, he would indeed have been dead!

Although everyone who witnessed this moment was stunned and shocked, guessing that this must be the work of the Ancestor of the Yazi Descendants, a creature who had reached the Half-step Saint Realm, no one had ever seen this "Half-step Saint" life form. Everything was mere speculation!

Unbeknownst to them, while Ye Tianchen was resisting this finger force, his powerful Divine Thought had already sensed that this finger force originated from a special place, namely this Thunder and Lightning Small World. The one who attacked him was the Half-step Saint Life of the Yazi Descendants. However, Ye Tianchen could not match it and could only choose to retreat. Being chased to East State by the Northern State Fifth Elder, Ye Tianchen had no choice. In order to kill the Northern State Fifth Elder and block the Saint Treasure he wielded, he had to enter this Thunder and Lightning Small World because the laws here were different from other places. As Ye Tianchen expected, when the Northern State Fifth Elder brought the Saint Treasure into this Thunder and Lightning Small World, the power he could freely exercise was significantly weakened, giving Ye Tianchen a fair chance to fight him!

Throughout this process, Ye Tianchen kept thinking that the Half-step Saint Life of the Yazi Descendants must be in retreat here because when the finger force failed to kill Ye Tianchen, this Half-step Saint life form said that once it was out of retreat, its first act would be to kill Ye Tianchen for revenge, and no one under heaven or on earth could save Ye Tianchen.

Ye Tianchen hoped to use the special laws of this place, relying on the powers within the Thunder and Lightning Small World, to kill the Northern State Fifth Elder quickly so he could escape with Princess Zi Xuan. However, when the Northern State Fifth Elder activated the Saint Treasure, perhaps the Half-step Saint Life from the Yazi Descendants, in retreat beneath this Thunder Mountain Range, sensed this, and thus came out of retreat prematurely to seize the Saint Treasure and an Ancient Saint’s drip of Lifeblood!

Crackling!

The power of thunder within this Thunder and Lightning Small World suddenly transformed into runes, enveloping this small world, shocking Ye Tianchen into a stupor. Even though Ye Tianchen rushed into the Holy Heaven Prison, protected by Chaos Qi, the heart-pounding feeling did not dissipate, involuntarily drawing his gaze downward. The Half-step Saint Life of the Yazi Descendants was incredibly terrifying; it seemed to alter the forces within this Thunder and Lightning Small World in an instant!

It is known that the power of thunder is extremely difficult to control, and any cultivator life form reaching a certain realm must undergo the Heavenly Punishment Thunder Tribulation, which is a test, a struggle between life and death. Surviving it results in greatly increased cultivation, failing it results in total obliteration. Hence, rarely do cultivators recklessly try to control the power of thunder!

However, the Half-step Saint Life of the Yazi Descendants, with just a gesture, altered the thunder power, showing the profoundness of its cultivation and the terror of its strength. Looking across the entire Earth, whether it be the Barbaric Forbidden Land or the Earth Ancient Martial World, or all cultivators on Earth, there really are very few who could stand against it!

"This... why is the Half-step Saint from the Yazi Descendants here?" Princess Zi Xuan couldn’t help but ask in surprise.

"The most dangerous place is the safest place. The Northern State Fifth Elder must die, otherwise we will be endlessly pursued. This is a risk we have to take!" Ye Tianchen frowned and said.

"Are you planning to fight against the Half-step Saint life form?" Princess Zi Xuan asked, somewhat lacking courage.

"Of course there must be a fight. Not fighting means waiting for death. Fighting, even if dying, will not bring regrets!" Ye Tianchen said with unwavering determination in his eyes.

"You... You really are too crazy, no wonder Master said you were the one who could protect the Flying Flower Zen Temple!" Princess Zi Xuan was a bit stunned, looking at Ye Tianchen, she said.

"Hehe, to be able to survive is to continue protecting the Flying Flower Zen Temple; if you die, you can’t protect anything!" Ye Tianchen said with a calm smile.

"Okay, let’s battle!" Princess Zi Xuan also clenched her fist fearlessly and said.

It must be said, Ye Tianchen’s indomitable will, that kind of resilience beyond the average person, infected Princess Zi Xuan. How many dare to say they can battle against beings of the Saint Realm? How many dare to say they can fearlessly contend with a legendary figure of the Emperor Realm? This requires not just strength, but immense courage, incredibly stable disposition, something impossible to fake. Only those with a truly undaunted heart can make such moves, can accomplish such feats!

Woosh!

Suddenly, a huge palm formed from the power of thunder and lightning directly enveloped Ye Tianchen and Princess Zi Xuan. When this palm touched the Holy Heaven Prison, surprisingly, it wasn’t shattered by the Chaos Qi, nor did it break through its power, instead it grasped the Holy Heaven Prison, as if trapping it!

"Such powerful strength, to be able to grasp the Holy Heaven Prison, it’s the first time I’ve seen anyone dare to contend with it like this!" Ye Tianchen couldn’t help but mutter to himself.

"Half-step Saint Realm, although not truly a Saint, already possessing the Saint’s power, it’s difficult to handle!" Princess Zi Xuan furrowed her brows as she spoke.

"Don’t worry, we can slowly figure it out. Fortunately, the Holy Heaven Prison is solid enough, and Chaos Qi isn’t easy to deal with either. In a short time, this old fellow won’t be able to do anything to us!" Ye Tianchen calmly said.

"Whatever happens, we must survive!" Princess Zi Xuan nodded as she spoke.

Ye Tianchen glanced at Princess Zi Xuan. Honestly, now he was at a loss too, this was his first time feeling a bit helpless. Just the formidable pressure released by the Yazi Clan’s Half-step Saint Life was enough to make one breathless, let alone this being personally attacking. This was not simply deploying Martial Arts Divine Power to test if one can withstand it; the power of a Half-step Saint Life, if hit, even a glancing blow would mean complete annihilation and dispersal of souls!

"This is quite the Treasure, perhaps its true power surpasses that of a Saint Treasure. Chaos Qi is indestructible yet unbreakable, truly living up to its name!" An old voice echoed, weaving through those forces of thunder and lightning, incredibly astonishing!

Buzz!

Just as the voice stopped, Ye Tianchen and Princess Zi Xuan saw in the distance amidst those interwoven lightning forces, a person gradually walking over. This person was struck by the power of thunder yet unharmed, not very tall, yet exuding a sinister vibe, stepping closer towards Ye Tianchen. Vaguely visible, this was a **** dragon-bodied monster, a clear trait of the Yazi Clan, reminding Ye Tianchen of the young Yazi he had slain, whose head was human but body hadn’t completely transformed into dragon, still slightly snake-like. Seems the old ancestor of the Yazi Descendants truly reached Half-step Saint Realm, its dragon body transformation rather complete!

A monster roughly one and a half meters tall yet **** dragon-bodied appeared before Ye Tianchen and Princess Zi Xuan, emanating a terrifying aura. This aura was the first to be felt, its head an elder’s head with blood-red hair, its body nearfully transformed into a dragon form. Its eyes fiercely glaring at the Holy Heaven Prison, a Half-step Saint Life of the Yazi Descendants who, during seclusion, sensed its grandson, the young Yazi, slaughtered. Unfortunately, it was at a critical point of seclusion, unable to emerge; merely released a finger strength, nearly exterminated the demon-like Ye Tianchen!

It’s imaginable, a mere finger strength almost killed the extraordinary Ye Tianchen, so now as this Yazi Descendants Half-step Saint Life emerges, standing before Ye Tianchen, will it spare him? No matter how, Ye Tianchen doesn’t seem to be its opponent...
