Chapter 2256 - 2254: [Two Even More Ruthless Old Bastards]

Chapter 2256: Chapter 2254: [Two Even More Ruthless Old Bastards]

[Today’s first update delivered. There will be another update at nine tonight. Asking for the Alliance Hierarch’s reward, is there any?]

Northern State’s Five Elders!

Among them, three are at the Mid-stage Martial Saint cultivation realm, and the other two are at the Peak of Late Stage Martial Saint cultivation realm!

Facing such five powerful elders, such inhuman, despicable, shameless old guys, Ye Tianchen was unsure if the legacy of the Flying Flower Zen Temple could be preserved?

Princess Zi Xuan, relying on her potential, along with wielding one of the ten Ancient Divine Swords, the Cheng Ying Sword, had enhanced her combat power, barely managing to contend against the three elders of the Northern State, slightly alleviating Ye Tianchen’s pressure. However, the pressure Ye Tianchen felt now was not to defeat these five elders of the Northern State, but how to protect more of the female disciples of Flying Flower Zen Temple, allowing them to truly escape, which is what he felt should be done!

After a fierce battle, breaking through the formation, only more than twenty female disciples of the Flying Flower Zen Temple were still alive, but these twenty were already defeated remnants, almost entirely devoid of strong combat power. Any one of the Northern State Five Elders could annihilate them all with a single punch!

Although Ye Tianchen and Princess Zi Xuan were now blocking these Northern State Five Elders, this group of more than twenty female disciples of the Flying Flower Zen Temple was still surrounded, unable to escape because they were suppressed by the powerful killing intent of the Northern State Five Elders. Unable to break through this killing intent, they could not get away!

Ye Tianchen faced the attacks from the first elder and the second elder of the Northern State, while calmly dealing with them, he pondered strategies on how to safely allow the remaining more than twenty female disciples of the Flying Flower Zen Temple to escape? Clearly, these Northern State Five Elders were glaring covetously, not willing to easily let the female disciples of Flying Flower Zen Temple escape. If those female disciples made any move, the most powerful fourth elder and fifth elder of the Northern State watching from not far would probably wage an attack, then Ye Tianchen might be able to guard the left but couldn’t guard the right, and the group of female disciples of Flying Flower Zen Temple would likely be annihilated, their souls scattered!

However, Ye Tianchen couldn’t think of a good way for the moment. If he attacked with full force, he could kill the first and second elders of the Northern State, even helping Princess Zi Xuan to kill the third elder of the Northern State. But if he made such fierce attacks, it would alert the fourth elder and fifth elder of the Northern State, who initially underestimated his strength. Given the disposition and viciousness of these old guys, they might immediately attack the more than twenty female disciples of Flying Flower Zen Temple. At that time, all of them would be dead, leaving only Ye Tianchen and Princess Zi Xuan, not only would the protection of the legacy of Flying Flower Zen Temple become a fantasy but they would also quickly face the threat of slaughter!

If Ye Tianchen didn’t quickly kill the first and second elders of Northern State, this continued stalemate would certainly be no solution, still putting the female disciples of Flying Flower Zen Temple in more danger!

It was precisely in this situation and from this thinking that Ye Tianchen fell into a dilemma momentarily, only able to fend off the attacks from the first and second elders of Northern State while thinking about what to do!

At this time, the fourth elder and fifth elder of Northern State still stood in the sky not far away, engaging in Qi Manipulation Flight, they hadn’t made a move. Although they were despicable and inhuman old guys, that arrogance of contempt for the younger Martial Artists still existed. In their view, no matter how strong Ye Tianchen was, even if he was the strongest of the younger generation in the Northern State Territory, he couldn’t be their opponent, as they were the outstanding ones among the older generation of Martial Artists, possessing the cultivation realm of Peak of Late Stage Martial Saint. To unite in action to kill one Ye Tianchen would be looked down upon by the world, such a thing they wouldn’t do, and most importantly, the fourth elder and fifth elder of Northern State had extremely proud hearts!

"This one indeed has great talent, he could defeat Yu Jianzi, Dao Yu, Zhao Tianqi, and kill Bai Wuji, he surely isn’t earning a false reputation!" The fourth elder of Northern State spoke.

"Hm? Ye Tianchen? I seem to have never heard such a name in the Barbaric Forbidden Land!" The fifth elder of Northern State said with some doubt.

"I haven’t heard either, but this Barbaric Forbidden Land is vast, with many forbidden areas we haven’t been to. Maybe some ancient legacy is left there, and this one might have emerged from those legacies!" The fourth elder of Northern State frowned and said.

"Really don’t know where Sang Qing found such a young man, he indeed somewhat blocked the plan to destroy the Flying Flower Zen Temple!" The fifth elder of Northern State said with a laugh.

"It’s just a pity Sang Qing miscalculated one thing, no matter how she balanced the relationship between the Flying Flower Zen Temple and other legacies when alive, how to avoid bullying other legacies, once she departs, these legacies have no reason but to want to annihilate her Flying Flower Zen Temple!" The fourth elder of Northern State sneered and said disdainfully.

"Sang Qing’s biggest mistake was not confronting the brutal bloodiness of the Martial Arts World, instead, living with compassion and kindness to educate her many disciples, why not convert to the Buddhist Sect with such a disposition? How ridiculous!" The fifth elder of Northern State laughed sarcastically.

"Should we make a move? First kill all these female disciples of Flying Flower Zen Temple; I’m afraid there might be changes later!" The fourth elder of Northern State looked at the battle ahead and said.

"Are you afraid?" The Fifth Elder of Northern State looked at the Fourth Elder of Northern State and asked with a smile.

The Fourth Elder glanced at the Fifth Elder. Among the five elders of Northern State, these two had the strongest combat power and the most profound cultivation realm. However, they all belonged to different sects. Although they were united this time to annihilate the Flying Flower Zen Temple and seize the Immortal Origin Liquid, the rivalry among them never ceased. Despite the current impossibility of mutual slaughter, cold taunts still existed!

"Haha, do I need to be afraid? What could possibly scare me?" The Fourth Elder said with a calm smile.

"You fear this young Ye Tianchen might be too powerful. If the female disciples of Flying Flower Zen Temple manage to escape, one day a Empress might emerge from among them, and then our group, including our sects, would merely await death!" The Fifth Elder looked at the Fourth Elder and said.

"That’s right. This siege of Flying Flower Zen Temple is an act of extermination. Don’t you think this is necessary? Aren’t you afraid at all? It’s rumored that this lad has fought against the Northern Tyrant..." The Fourth Elder said to the Fifth Elder.

Upon hearing the Fourth Elder’s words, although the Fifth Elder believed Ye Tianchen couldn’t be that strong, certainly not stronger than them, the thought of Ye Tianchen actually fighting the Northern Tyrant was quite shocking. After all, the Northern Tyrant was an arrogant and powerful young generation. The fact that Ye Tianchen could battle the Northern Tyrant was indeed astonishing, making him dare not underestimate!

"Indeed! Then, let’s strike. However, don’t kill the remaining female disciples of Flying Flower Zen Temple first. These women are mere ants in our eyes, easily crushed underfoot. They aren’t worth killing first. Ye Tianchen and Princess Zi Xuan are fighting desperately just to protect them. Let’s defeat them and kill the disciples in front of them for more enjoyment and interest, wouldn’t it be?" The Fifth Elder said maliciously.

"Hmm, that’s indeed more interesting. Let’s do it this way!" The Fourth Elder nodded, a cold smile curling on his lips.

Bang!

Ye Tianchen punched, repelling the First Elder and Second Elder of Northern State. He turned decisively, glaring coldly behind him as the Fourth Elder and Fifth Elder seemed finally unable to hold back, closing in, ready to strike at any moment!

"All at once, the best choice!" Ye Tianchen said coldly.

In truth, Ye Tianchen had long wanted the Fourth Elder and Fifth Elder to join the battle. Not because he was arrogant, but aware that with them joining, he only faced more danger, possibly a life-threating situation. However, this would allow him to find a way for the remaining twenty female disciples of Flying Flower Zen Temple to escape!

This method was simple: as long as the Fourth Elder and Fifth Elder attacked Ye Tianchen together, he could exert all his strength to hold back these four of the five Northern State elders, enabling the remaining Flying Flower Zen Temple disciples to seize the chance to flee. Of course, without immense strength and courageous determination, Ye Tianchen couldn’t accomplish holding these four back!

"You’re very arrogant!" The Fourth Elder gritted his teeth coldly.

"And utterly foolish!" The Fifth Elder laughed disdainfully.

"I don’t know anything, except that I must kill you!" Ye Tianchen said vehemently.

Whoosh!

However, just as Ye Tianchen was about to engage the Fourth Elder and Fifth Elder, the First Elder blocked their way, discontentedly saying, "What do you mean by this? I can kill this ant!"

"Exactly, your intervention belittles us!" The Second Elder flew over and said irritably.
