Chapter 1128: Overview of Powers

"Wait a second," Melanie said. "I don't know about all of these Organizations. Can someone give me an overview?"

Melanie turned to Sebastian, but he just smiled sheepishly. "I also haven't been in the Supreme World for long. I don't know a lot about them."

Fox didn't say anything, but it was clear she didn't know much about the Organizations either.

"There are five political powers and five non-political powers," Kyle transmitted with a neutral voice. "These ten powers essentially rule the entire Supreme World. For political powers, borders matter. For non-political powers, borders don't matter. In the Main Dimension, the borders are all chaotic, but I presume that's not the case in the Immortal Dimension, right?"

Kyle looked at the man, who nodded with a smile. "Ayuvar is on the border between the Contrast Empire and the Wargod's Peak in the Immortal Dimension."

Kyle nodded before looking back at Melanie. "You can view the political powers as actual countries, while the non-political powers are just very big companies. Political powers mostly focus on their identity and ideology, while non-political powers focus on a skill set. These two things might sound similar, but they are not."

"Identity, in this context, represents the attributes with which you identify yourself when talking about your country. A skill set is just a specialization of a company. A company that makes money with Formation Arrays won't talk a lot about Karmic Services or training. They're a Formation Array company. They're good at something, and they're using that to make money and grow stronger."

"Let me start with the political powers."

"First, there's the Contrast Empire. They're mostly focusing on opposing powers and viewpoints. Their Seekers often have contrasting powers. Light and Darkness, Lightning and Earth, Fire and Water, Metal and Wind, stuff like that. Their ideology mirrors these contrasting properties. Instead of finding a compromise, they often try to go for all-or-nothing."

"Is that accurate so far?" Kyle asked, looking at the man.

"That basically summarizes the Contrast Empire," the man said with a smile and a nod.

"Next, the Wargod's Peak," Kyle continued. "As their name suggests, they put a great focus on battles. They mostly specialize in Imposing Laws. They rarely interact with other political powers unless there are battles to be fought."

"They also focus on Refined Laws," the man interjected.

"Makes sense," Kyle answered before he looked at Melanie again. "The Tower of Creation is all about mixing Elements. They're very flexible with their politics, which means they also have a lot of allies. In fact, Inner World, one of the non-political powers, is working closely with them. From what I've heard, the Tower of Creation is one of two powers that no one else wants to offend."

"That's correct," the man said. "On a baseline, they are a bit weaker than the Contrast Empire, but you can almost view Inner World as a part of their power. Fighting with the Tower of Creation wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for their countless Formation Arrays, courtesy of Inner World."

"Next, the Unity of Demihumans," Kyle transmitted. "The Supreme World gets ascenders from all over, and many of these ascenders come from Experimental Worlds. Experimental Worlds often have unusual beings. Imagine humanoids with fur, chitin, multiple arms, very big, very small, and so on. They also have a considerable number of humanoid beasts."

Fox glanced at Kyle with raised brows.

Kyle looked back with a cold gaze. "Yes, like you, except that they're not assholes. There are beasts that can integrate into human society, and from what I've heard, they're pretty straightforward. Humans are more scheming, and a lot of these humanoid beasts feel taken advantage of, disgusted, or hated, which is why they created the Unity of Demihumans. I don't know a lot about them."

"They don't interact with humans a lot," the man explained. "Plenty of Organizations want to trade or ally with them, but the Unity of Demihumans seems to act towards humanity just how they feel humanity interacts with them. They feel persecuted, which is why they often persecute humans."

"Lastly, the World Seekers," Kyle continued. "They're the strongest political power, and I don't know a lot about them. They rarely start conflicts with other powers, but other powers also rarely start conflicts with them."

"The World Seekers are very liberal," the man explained. "They rarely get involved in politics, and they essentially allow non-political powers to rule their territory, to a certain extent. If one of these non-political powers gets a little too bold, they will be quickly put in place."

"The World Seekers all use swords, and they gain their immense power from watching the worlds themselves. By that, I mean that they're watching how the worlds defend themselves. Some of you have probably seen the defensive mechanism. The World Seekers are gaining enlightenment by imitating the rules behind that mechanism."

Kyle remembered the time the defensive mechanism of the Tertiary World had attacked him. The defensive mechanism hadn't used much energy, but the way it used it had been so profound and advanced that Kyle had been helpless.

Fox also remembered the time the defensive mechanism had attacked her.

She had been just as helpless.

"Continue," the man said, noticing that Kyle had stopped. "You're doing a good job summarizing them."

"Next, the non-political powers," Kyle transmitted. "The Grand Exchange is all about trade, communication, treasures, diplomacy, and money. They buy and sell stuff. They are often used as a neutral party during negotiations. Employing their services makes it more likely that the other party will accept your proposal."

"Inner World is all about Formation Arrays. They keep their knowledge of Formation Arrays secret, and they're selling their Formation Arrays to every other Organization. Every big Organization can make Formation Arrays, but they all use Inner World's Formation Arrays for their most important locations."

"This probably makes Inner World the most stable Organization in existence, including the political ones. Their Formation Arrays are so powerful that all of the headquarters of all of the powers use them. If any of them angers Inner World, these Formation Arrays might stop working. Inner World has the Supreme World by the balls."

"Not entirely, but it's also not wrong," the man interjected. "The most powerful Formation Arrays use Demigods as an Energy Source, essentially amplifying the Demigod's power. But that doesn't matter a lot when an actual Emperor enters the field. Otherwise, yes, Inner World has significant sway over the Supreme World."

'Good to know,' Kyle thought before he looked back at Melanie. "Next, Auspicious Karma. They make their money with Karmic Services. You can pay them to improve your Karmic Luck, allowing you to commit atrocities to gain quick cash. If you can get 50 Energy Stones from a helpless Seeker and the cost of regaining your Karmic Luck is 30 Energy Stones, you've just made 20 Energy Stones."

"Additionally, they also deal in prophecies. They are so good at reading Karmic Luck that they can predict the future to a certain extent. They also act as investigators."

Kyle looked at Fox with cold eyes. "If you have the money, Auspicious Karma can find anyone you want to find."

Fox just glared back, but she didn't say anything.

"Next, the Sky Reachers," Kyle said, looking back at Melanie and Sebastian. "They're basically a training camp, academy, or something similar. They take the most talented Seekers in the Supreme World and try to turn them into Immortals. Then, they sell 95% of their Immortals while keeping the best five percent for themselves."

"Lastly, there's the Array of Stars. They can do everything, but they're not the best at anything. They're good at raising powerful Seekers, but not as good as the Sky Reachers. Their Formation Arrays are the second-best, but they can't compare to Inner World's Formation Arrays. They offer Karmic Services, but only to a certain extent. Predicting the future or reading reality are beyond them. They buy and sell things, but they lack the goodwill and connections that the Grand Exchange has."

"You make them sound like pushovers," the man said with a raised brow.

"That's what I know of them," Kyle answered with a shrug.

"What you've said is accurate, but the words you've used are not as accurate," the man said. "If I may rephrase..."

"The Array of Stars is almost as good as the Sky Reachers when it comes to creating Immortals."

"The Array of Stars is almost as good as Inner World when it comes to Formation Arrays."

"The Array of Stars is almost as good as Auspicious Karma when it comes to offering Karmic Services."

"And the Array of Stars is so rich that not even the Grand Exchange can compete."

"Lastly, their Head is within the top three."

"Top three?" Fox asked.

"Top three strongest existences, period."
