Chapter 674 435: Do Your Best to Kill Me

  • Next Chapter

Dozens of kilometers away.

Atop a mountain peak.

The group of onlookers had only just begun to process what they had seen.

Their faces were grim, filled with disbelief.

"Not even a nuclear explosion could kill him. What kind of monster is he?"

A burly man with two large tusks spoke up.

As a High-Level Yin Beast, a rare look of horror crossed his face.

It was no wonder he reacted this way; the scene before them was simply too incredible to believe.

"Impossible! Even if he did survive, there's no way he's completely unharmed!"

The goatee-bearded elder's expression was dark and uncertain.

After a moment's pause, a sharp glint flashed through his multiple eyes.

He continued.

"He must be bluffing. He's probably severely injured and on the verge of death. Otherwise, given his previous actions, there's no reason he would have destroyed all the cameras.

He must have done it to confuse us so he could recover from his injuries!"

Hearing this,

the terrified expressions on the faces of the group lessened slightly.

The goatee-bearded elder was considered the strategist among the High-Tier Yin Beasts.

Now that they thought about it, his theory wasn't entirely impossible.

"In my opinion, this is the perfect opportunity! We mustn't hesitate. We should strike now and kill him!"

The goatee-bearded elder's voice was filled with conviction.

However,

no one responded.

Seeing this, the elder frowned and was just about to speak again.

Suddenly, the hairs on his body stood on end as a primal sense of alarm washed over him.

An eerie, intense red glow had, at some unknown point, silently enveloped the area like a death shroud.

At the same time, an unparalleled and terrifying aura of death surged toward them.

Under the pressure of this aura,

the goatee-bearded elder had the distinct illusion that in the next second, he would be a corpse on the ground, all his Vitality extinguished.

It wasn't just him; everyone present felt it too.

Their faces stiff, they all looked up at the sky.

But when they saw what was there,

the blood drained from their faces in an instant.

A colossal, sky-blotting palm had appeared above them at some unknown time.

Its five fingers were spread wide, the lines on its palm like ravines of molten lava, radiating a heat intense enough to incinerate all creation.

The giant hand had not yet descended, but a terrifying heat wave had already swept across the land, causing the very air to twist and shimmer.

Without a moment's pause after its appearance,

the giant hand slammed down!

"AHH!"

At the sight, all the High-Level Yin Beasts, including the goatee-bearded elder, finally reacted, their faces twisting in horror.

They immediately raised their hands, blasting streams of Yin Energy at the colossal palm.

However, the streams of Yin Energy had barely reached mid-air before they dissipated like snow under a scorching sun, never even touching the giant palm.

The palm's descent didn't slow in the slightest.

The moment it touched the mountaintop, the peak crumbled like a sandcastle.

The rock strata shattered and vaporized. The mountain itself was incinerated into Ashes by the unparalleled heat, and even the smoke and dust were utterly annihilated before they could rise.

The High-Level Yin Beasts, along with the Intern Reader, were instantly ignited from the inside out by the terrifying heat.

BOOM—!!!

The next moment,

amidst an earth-shattering roar, the entire mountain collapsed like a sandcastle.

Rock as hard as iron was pulverized under the palm's pressure as the mountain disintegrated inch by inch from the top down.

The shockwave spread out in a ring, instantly flattening the mountain forests for dozens of kilometers in every direction.

When all the commotion had ceased,

the mountain was gone.

Only a stretch of scorched earth remained.

Looking down from above,

one could see a massive, palm-shaped crater hundreds of meters deep. It was black as ink, its surface covered in a vitrified, crystalline glaze that was still radiating shimmering waves of heat.

The surrounding land was cracked and barren. All life was extinguished. Even the wind seemed to have been burned away, leaving behind only dead silence.
