Chapter 2113: Disorder Dies, Time Returns (III)

  • Next Chapter

Li Hao shook his head with resignation and looked at the Human King rushing into the fray, then at the apoplectic Forefather Blood.

Fine, fight it out. Someone like the Human King should be ejected from the new chaos as soon as possible. If he isn’t... this guy might screw everything up!

Things were complicated enough already. Order was yet to be established. With the Human King sticking his nose into the mix... that would just mess everything up even more!

“You’re the one who wanted to get involved. You’ll be the cause of your own elimination if you’re killed!” Li Hao mumbled. I’m not the one responsible for you returning to your physical body.

And to be honest, I’d be worried if a guy like you continued to stay in the chaos. It’s not a good thing if you change the future.

Fang Ping was very strong to begin with. Once he fully came into his own in the world, it might not come with a corresponding increase in strength.

In fact, it might cut off opportunities for later generations to come.

Now that Li Hao thought about it... it might be a good idea for these connate demons and gods to die. It was fine to die once they’d comprehended some things.

“That’s right, that’s how things should be. This first batch of inhabitants should die once I establish order and really create the worlds!” Li Hao murmured, having decided on his next steps.

Otherwise, these guys would certainly interfere with the development of the future. There was no need for them to continue participating in the new chaos. It would affect the development of the entire experiment.

When I create my worlds... I should be able to use desire to lure them all over to me. I’ll cut all of them down then and turn their bodies into worlds. Their spirit will return to their primary bodies!

Up ahead.

Battle broke out.

Forefather Blood was indeed strong. As ferocious and berserk as the guy who seemed to be the Human King and his group of followers were, Forefather Blood quickly cut down a few. The void shook and light flashed by, producing a bloody rain.

The seventh rank Human King fought madly against the eighth rank Forefather Blood. His opponent had just created a world and connected his supernatural character to the chaos. Therefore, no matter how fearsome the Human King was, he quickly began to falter and stumble.

“His blade dao is really good!” Li Hao could see that despite the lack of memories, the Human King wielded a berserk blade in a grand fashion.

The young man inclined his head. The Human King’s dao could be passed on after his death. When isolated from the interference of the other great daos, a mighty blade cultivator might emerge from this chaos!

The Human King walked the path of all daos being one, but demonstrated it through blade work. If this heritage found successors after his death, that would be enough for someone to grow stronger in this chaos.

When the great dao was purer and rules more certain, it would ensure that its powerhouses weren’t that weak.

Seeing that the Human King was in full battle rage and starting to randomly hack around... Li Hao sighed helplessly. This chaos wasn’t stable yet and looked like it might collapse under the strain. The young man summoned some of his own blood qi and sent it to Forefather Blood.

The being blinked with astonishment at his sudden surge of strength. There wasn’t time to ponder over the change in him. This was just what he needed!

A ‘blood’ character descended from above! Blood World spontaneously enveloped the Human King.

“How dare a minor dao try to vie with me for supremacy! You court death!” snarled Fang Ping.

Boom!

All of his blood was instantly extracted by the world. His own blood exploded and his immense body detonated as well.

The look in the Human King’s eyes changed slightly as he recalled something. He cursed when he looked into the distance. Fuck!

Am I dying this quickly??

The brat plotted against me! Fuck that kid!

Spirit flashed through the void and disappeared.

Li Hao half rolled his eyes. The mighty Human King hadn’t been able to hold out until the end. He was eliminated almost at the beginning.

Fine, he’d been biased toward Forefather Blood, but it was the Human King’s fault for messing around like this!

You deserved to get kicked out!

......

At the same time, outside Blood World.

Dao rule cocoons could be seen everywhere. Someone opened his eyes in one of them and started cursing, “Fucking hell, that little asshole! He must’ve plotted against me from the shadows. How could a mere Forefather Blood kill me otherwise??”

“......” Another person’s sigh answered him. “You’re still a handful even without your memories, Fang Ping. It’s one thing to cause your own downfall, but I died with you before comprehending much of anything! Honestly...”

I don’t know what to say! You’re trouble wherever you go!

“So you’ve come out as well, Ironhead?” grinned the Human King. “I forgot to ask, which one were you? How come I didn’t see a massive monster with an iron head?”

“......” His compatriot rolled his eyes hard. “What monster with an iron head? I... was somehow a suit of armor in there!”

He wasn’t sure either, so he murmured to himself, “I think I attained dao through defense. I was probably used to following your commands, so I rushed out with you when you yelled. Honestly...

“If it wasn’t for you stirring up trouble, my spirit would surely be stronger if I cultivated to eighth rank. You doomed me!”

“A suit of armor that formed its own spirit?” Fang Ping barked with laughter. “How interesting! It’s enough that we made it this far. Although the daos inside are nice, they’re not that complete. It’s fine to try something new and strengthen our spirit a bit. Li Hao would have our heads if we really extracted all the spirit from his creation!”

There was only so much spirit to go around and they were too strong. Once spirit dissipated from that chaos, it would be lights out for it!

Li Hao would definitely pop with rage then and throw them all out!

As amusing as the thought was, the Human King settled down and extended his senses toward the burgeoning chaos.

“It really is quite nice,” he quickly concluded. “And we got to taste what the initial stages of a new chaos are like. Although it won’t be exactly the same thing, it still broadened our horizons!

“This was interesting. Li Hao’s establishment of a chaos has given me new inspiration. I have an internal world that hasn’t fused together very well in all this time. Perhaps I have a way to do so now!”

The Exalted Ironheaded Emperor was delighted by this declaration. Was that so?

If that was the case, the Human King might have a chance to take another step further in his cultivation. Granted, it was hard to say if ninth rank was within reach.

Fang Ping looked into the distance and raised an eyebrow. “Why isn’t Disorder dead yet? He really knows how to hang on! Li Hao’s waiting for the dao of time to return so he can create the worlds in his chaos!

“What a pity that this guy is taking so long. We could’ve seen Li Hao establish his worlds and cosmos, that might’ve been even better.”

While the Human King was regretful, he wasn’t too regretful.

“That guy copied some of my blade method comprehensions!” laughed the Human King. “Whichever blade powerhouse from the future better not use my blade methods to kill me. That would... suck!”

He was just cracking a joke and didn’t really mind the possibility. If he did die to another, that was a sign of his own incompetence.

Fang Ping looked to the west...

His eyes widened.

The western region.

Immense strength appeared in the void and a surge of disorder shook the worlds.

BOOM!

The explosion rang through the chaos, the first of many!

......

Disorder was bathed in blood and his white hair started to shrivel. He laughed loudly, however, and obliterated an eighth rank with one punch!

There were only a handful of people still alive in the battlefield of the vast western region. The invincible Disorder, the gravely wounded Chaos Sky, and the fleeing Skyward.

Chaos Sky heaved for breath, glowering at the circumstances. He’d lost out, big time!

Disorder had slaughtered all of the Nine Layer Guard. If it wasn’t for Chaos Sky’s own immense strength, he would’ve gone down too. Almost all of the ninth rank replicas were dead. Only Skyward had made it out due to his dao.

Damn it!

How could Disorder still be hanging on? Damn him!!

Disorder was at the end of the road. He watched Skyward’s fleeing replica, then at Chaos Sky coughing up blood.

“It looks like I might not have a chance to kill you after all!” he laughed. “You’re a tough cookie, Chaos Sky. You took three of my punches at full strength, but you’re still standing!”

He knew full well how strong his peak form was, but not even three punches had been able to take out his opponent!

What a pity.

Disorder looked at the escaping Skyward replica and smirked, “Skyward, you old fart, you always pretend to be some sort of upright gentleman. Why are you running away with your tail between your legs? So what if I kill a mere replica? Why flee? Don’t you throw your weight around in front of me normally? Why are you such a piece of trash today?”

Skyward’s replica panted heavily in the distance and didn’t respond. It was fine for a replica to die, but in the circumstance of their primary bodies having difficulty descending, ensuring their replica’s survival was for the best. Why fight someone about to die?

Skyward looked at the east and frowned slightly. Somehow.. he felt that it wasn’t a good idea to let Li Hao continue his endeavors.

Disorder was about to die. Would things get more dicey if time returned to the young man’s grasp? Would that dao be able to do that at all? Could he intercept it halfway?

Skyward sank into deep thought.
