“It’ll be a good excuse for me to take a nap anyhow, so I don’t embarrass myself again!

“I’m hoping to have teacher make your reputation and take up your title of Old Demon Five Styles again, not... send you to your death.” Li Hao stared at the man.

“You’ve got everything ready and just need the final step to execute on your plans. If I can’t take them and can’t seize Five Elements major world... then avenge me! At least that will give you a legitimate reason to take action!

“For us martial masters, our dignity is more important than anything! I’m not like that idiot Hong Yitang. I care about my face! I’m shameless only to you...” Yuan Shuo suddenly laughed at this point. “Anyway, that’s all. I’ll work with you if you agree. If not, go find your helpers!

“Teacher... and what face?” Li Hao roared with laughter. When have you ever cared about face?

Li Hao fell silent.

“Then forget it, you do you and I’ll do me...”

“Teacher, are you trying to get yourself killed?” Li Hao exhaled.

“What kind of bullshit is that?” Yuan Shuo rolled his eyes. “Do you think I’d do that just so you have a reason for revenge? Screw off! You little bastard, why should I go to my death when you live like this? Of course I’m going to live if I can! Your teacher’s wife is so young, who’s that gonna benefit if I die??”

“......” Li Hao was startled into a coughing fit. Damn! You could have mentioned anything but that!

“Heh, what, jealous?” Yuan Shuo cackled.

“......” What... ever... Li Hao shrugged. “Teacher was pretty strong without a woman, you’ve gotten weaker since you’ve coupled up. When I look at teacher and the Human King, both of you have gotten weak after starting a family. Having a woman slows down your cultivation progress. This is a lesson learned in blood, teacher!”

Oh screw you! Yuan Shuo scowled. Where did the brat get his outlandish notions from?

Li Hao ceased bantering and considered whether the proposal was doable. How many powerhouses would be left in Five Elements? How many eighth ranks and how many seventh ranks?

It was too tough to call. Who knew about any of this?

If Disorder only took a few with him, then there would be a lot of eighth ranks left. The situation would naturally be a lot safer if Disorder took all of them. Yuan Shuo was only a seventh rank, but the seventh ranks in Five Elements might not be able to outmuscle him.

The risks were high, but if they succeeded... then only master and disciple would be the ones to split up the loot. No one would say a word if Yuan Shuo took Five Elements major world for himself.

Could Li Hao just forcefully award the world to Yuan Shuo?

Of course he could!

However, he’d already allocated the dao strength that’d propelled Yuan Shuo to seventh rank. If the latter received more without achieving corresponding deeds of merit... then it was only a matter of time before he lost the hearts of his people, if he couldn’t maintain impartiality within his own faction.

Master and disciple discussed a bit further, also considering what might happen if Disorder went to Five Elements major world and the overlords mentioned a replica. Posting as Disorder then wouldn’t work. However, it was Li Hao’s speculation for now that they wouldn’t do so.

After all, that was a ninth rank’s business. Why would they ask so much? He was an outsider, not their own dao master.

If they didn’t bring it up, then the possibility of entering the world as a fake Disorder would increase. If they did, then they would be on guard. This was a double-edged sword and they would have to adjust on the fly.

“How about... Spring Autumn?” Yuan Shuo asked. The cicada had been onto him. Perhaps she was in the shadows too. They were in for a surprise if she took action as well.
