Skyflight’s massive head dropped and its proud eyebrows collapsed, almost seeking to hide its eyes from the scary senior with the even scarier ideas.

“Senior... um... I think...”

“Are you scared?”

The tiger bared its teeth in an awkward smile. No shit, of course! I’m not a fool, I’m a seventh rank, alright? The senior thinks I’m an idiot, doesn’t he??

Skyflight didn’t know what the human wanted. Its heart was in its mouth. Li Hao assessed Five Elements world with a measured look. His teacher should be nearby.

Granted, Yuan Shuo wouldn’t be that useful since he was just a seventh rank, but if the two of them coordinated well and fully utilized his teacher’s shamelessness and deviousness, then maybe... Yuan Shuo could have a noticeable effect.

The young man was scheming after Five Elements both for himself and for his teacher. Yuan Shuo had potential, but always seemed to be one step behind others. Things had reached a point in which his teacher had given up hope for cultivation dominance.

He probably wanted to engage in some impressive feats on this trip to Five Elements. Yuan Shuo had likely wanted to cry when he saw that the five elemental envoys had come as well, hadn’t he?

Li Hao nearly broke out in laughter when his thoughts traveled here.

“Disorder...” The young man thought over the situation some more. He naturally had some ideas in mind, given that he was posing as Disorder. Li Hao hoped to lure over Chaos Sky’s people or the man himself.

“I don’t know if I’ll get them to come or not. Whether it’s the elemental envoys or the overlords, they’re all connected to ninth ranks. Chaos Sky won’t be able to sit still if I pose as Disorder! The caveat to that is he needs to know that I’m here...”

That was right, Li Hao wanted to turn the entire northern region into a hot mess and have Chaos Sky participate as well.

Order and disorder were two opposing daos.

Chaos Sky might not pay attention to other powerhouses, but once an issue touched upon the core nature of his great dao, he would absolutely get involved. Li Hao’s most pressing issue at hand was to convince Chaos Sky that the real Disorder had descended, that this wasn’t someone posing at the ninth rank.

“I can’t outright attack Five Elements. Instead, I need to demonstrate that I come in peace and have Chaos Sky be aware of my intentions...” Li Hao still didn’t know that the real Disorder truly was upon them. The young man would probably be delighted if he did.

Even though he was unaware, he was fully prepared to pose as the ninth rank. This was the plan from the start. Even if he couldn’t turn the north into a mess, he would throw so much crap at Chaos Sky and Five Elements that they became suspicious and paranoid of everything.

It was only a matter of time before Li Hao and Chaos Sky became enemies, since Chaos Sky wished to conquer the chaos. The young man wanted to weaken this kind of person as much as he could.

Chaos Sky... might have more eighth ranks than Peng Cheng and a few other known ones under his banner. If he had inherited the Order master’s legacy or was Order himself reincarnated, then he was bound to have inherited the personnel network of the person who’d almost conquered the chaos back in the day.

The Order master was not weak at all. Could Skyward’s group have really killed all of his people?

There seemed to have been people observing from the shadows when they fought Skyward’s replica. Had those been people from other ninth rank worlds, or had they been with Chaos Sky?

All of that was unknown.

A smile gradually appeared on Li Hao’s face. Chaos Sky... Order... Disorder... Five Elements...

Various ideas and a plan began to form in his mind.

“The elemental envoys should know Disorder, so I can’t get too close to them. But I can give them a stunning glance from afar, and it’s best where there are Chaos Sky’s people around. He made a ton of arrangements in the east, how could he have not done the same in the north?” Li Hao caressed the tiger’s head, making Skyflight shudder. It suddenly felt that the person on its back was... a bit... sinister.

The human was different from before.

“I’ve got a question for you, Skyflight. Do you know who in the northern region has more contact with Chaos Sky Region?”

Skyflight didn’t know what to say. What kind of test was this?

“I don’t know.”

What a dumb tiger! Well, I don’t know either, but what does it matter?

A presence of disorder began to emanate from the young man and creep forward. “If anyone discovers anything in a bit, fly away as quickly as possible and head toward the eighth rank worlds,” Li Hao chuckled. “Do you understand?”

“I do,” Skyflight said nervously. What are you doing? This feels so dangerous!

The power of disorder became part of the chaos, sending some ripples through the calm void. They extended toward Five Elements major world in the distance.

The ripples were very faint!

But they truly did exist. Weaklings might not sense anything, but powerhouses would certainly feel something different. Li Hao had broken the faint sense of order in the chaos!

Five Elements major world did seem to receive something. Some presences shifted and appeared to be scanning something.

Skyflight immediately took to the air and vanished in the void. It was almost gibbering with fear!

Several figures materialized on Five Elements major world. It wasn’t just the elemental envoys, but the overlords as well. All of them were shaken and uncertain. What’d just happened?

So fast! Hasn’t he just returned to the chaos? Or had he outright descended in the north?

Golden Sun was confused and frowned at the distance. What did the Disorder master mean by this?

Is he notifying us of his arrival or... have other ideas in mind? This is kind of bizarre.

“Big brother, was that the Disorder master?” The metal envoy’s voice rang in his ears.

“It should’ve been... Who else would it be at this time, other than him?”

“Then why didn’t he meet us?”

“I don’t know... does he want to keep his presence a secret?” Golden Sun’s head hurt. How the heck do I know what he’s got cooking?

Since he couldn’t guess the other’s intentions, he could only consider why Disorder had shown himself, but then promptly disappeared.

Golden Sun glanced to the side, seeing that the overlords were equally alarmed. The three were baffled, having clearly determined something. Was the Disorder master on guard against them?

Surely not.

Golden Sun’s headache intensified.

Skymetal, head of the Five Elements, suddenly said, “Fellow Daoist Golden Sun, you... sensed it too, right?”

Golden Sun nodded slightly.

“You and I... may not be enemies,” said Skymetal. “We should be working together right now.”

“We all know what Li Hao and the rest had in mind when they forced us to come to the north,” Golden Sun said thoughtfully. “We don’t want to play into his expectations either, if possible...” Here, he switched to a probing tone, “Have the fellow daoists received any messages or instructions lately?”

The look in Skymetal’s eyes sharpened. It looked like this wasn’t the decision of just one ninth rank, but... all of them!

He inclined his head and his smile grew a bit more genuine than before. “This means that... we actually don’t have any conflicts of interest in the short term. The entire chaos thinks that the northern region is the weakest, but that may not be the case anymore!”

Golden Sun heaved a sigh of relief too. As he thought. So these guys really are pawns left behind by the elemental dao master?

That old fox seriously hid his cards well. Although the envoys had had their speculations, there hadn’t been a way to confirm their guesses. There were too many who cultivated the five elements. It was hard to say that someone was with the elemental dao master just because they were strong.

But now, the envoys were more or less certain.

“So why did... that one... leave?” asked a puzzled Golden Sun. It was so strange!

“I don’t know.” Skymetal shook his head as well. You’re asking me? How would I know? Logically speaking, he should meet us and discuss whatever plan he has in mind. Why the smoke and mirrors?

“Let’s wait a bit longer!” Skymetal continued. “Perhaps... he has his own plans in mind. We just need to go along with them the best we can!”

The five envoys said nothing else.

Li Hao raised an eyebrow. Why had no one come after him? That was odd.

Why?

No matter what, shouldn’t they proactively try to identify whether or not the Disorder master was nearby when the power of disorder appeared?

Were they worried that it was a trap, so they didn’t dare confirm their suspicions?

“Is this... appropriate?” Skyflight asked fearfully.

“Don’t be scared, I’m here. No one’s going to be able to beat you up,” Li Hao grinned. “I’ll be taking some as well. I’ve just arrived and haven’t recovered to full strength. Absorbing some chaos strength... is normal, right?”
