Chapter 511 - 511: I’ll destroy it all

She paused for a moment when she saw that her attack did nothing to Silva, but then she shot at him again. She moved fast and became a blur, her spear spinning around as she came in for a slash, each slash faster than the last, and Silva was forced to block each one.

He moved his sword fast. Every block caused a massive shockwave that ripped through the air around them.

She came in for a slash, and Silva moved to block the attack, only for her to change directions at the last possible moment and turn it into a stab. Silva was left with very little time to evade the attack at all.

He stepped to the side fast and coated his stomach with scales. The spear grazed his side, but it seemed she had learned from what he did before, and then she proceeded to unleash an explosive blast at the moment the tip touched him.

BOOM!

Silva was hurled back fast. He slammed into the ground hard, rolled for a few hundred meters before he came to a stop, he looked up, and she was already coming from above with a full-on stab.

Silva gritted his teeth, he pulled his arm back, and gave everything into a powerful slash, his sword cleaving through the air and his flames engulfing it entirely.

"Arghhhhhhh!" he roared as he slashed.

Spear met with sword, and for a split moment, there was complete and utter silence before the loudest explosion followed.

KABOOOM!

Flames and abyss magic twisted together, a massive crater formed beneath Silva, covering a two hundred meter radius beneath his feet and going over twenty meters deep.

Silva managed to block her attack, but it was clear that she was stronger as he collapsed to his knee and coughed up blood, while she flew in the air above.

"You, you are one of us. You wield the abyss," she spoke.

"Nah, I'm not one of you," Silva said and rose to his feet. He stretched out his sword, and the flames covered the entire sword again before compressing, getting bigger, and then compressing once again.

"I don't have an affiliation with people that try to destroy my home."

He pulled back his leg, gripped his sword tight, and then shot into the air. He came in with a slash, but she moved fast, parrying the attack and evading it cleanly. She moved behind him, but Silva had already turned and attacked with another slash.

She did not expect it, but she was able to block it. The force of the attack hurled her back. She flew down but managed to use her winds to slow herself down and ensure her descent was safe.

She looked up, and Silva was coming for her already.

'I have to press her as much as I can. She is faster and stronger than me on the base, so if I overload her with attacks, I'll be able to take control of the fight.'

His thought process was running at full speed at the moment, all eleven minds working as best as they could to make better plans to ensure his win.

His attack came in fast, she reacted faster, flapping her wings and moving out of the way instantly. The sword slammed into the ground with an explosive force that shattered the ground even more. A massive dust cloud rose into the sky, blocking all view.

She stopped and looked at the cloud, waiting for him to come out of it. His sword came out of the dust, spinning fast toward her. She attacked the sword and blocked it. Silva burst out of another side of the dust, going high into the sky.

He grabbed the sword that had been blocked in the air and then shot down at her.

Clang!

Sword met with spear, and another explosion ripped out. She was pushed back this time, she stabbed her spear into the ground until she stopped.

"Tch, getting through you is simply impossible," Silva muttered.

"This has dragged on enough. I did not expect to meet someone as strong as you here and someone that has connections to the abyss.

Come with me, and I'll spare this world of yours," she said while stretching her hand to him.

Silva looked at her hand and scoffed.

"Like I would believe that. I know that you have no care for this world, and you can easily destroy it when I leave with you," Silva stated.

"Also, I am not allowing anyone to control me. I'd rather die."

"Then you will watch your world burn."

She pointed her hand at Silva, a small ball of blood-red energy began to gather.

Silva stared at it, feeling the immense energy in that small ball.

It twisted and turned until it shot out of her hand, a straight, thin blast that ripped through the air with the sound of a high-frequency whistle. It moved so fast that there was no time to dodge. Silva raised his sword and blocked the blast, it slammed into it with a powerful penetrative force.

His feet skidded back against the ground, putting his all to block the attack. The metal of his blade was already turning red from the heat.

'She can casually attack on this level. I might not be able to handle this on my own.'

Silva summoned a clone. He looked at the clone, and it nodded. It shot into the air and flew down toward her.

She saw the clone coming and stabbed her spear into the ground. The abyss energy poured from the spear and seeped into the earth. From the cracks, massive dark tendrils made of darkness emerged, each one the size of a large human. More than ten tendrils emerged all at the same time.

The tendrils swung at the clone. He attacked them with his sword, slashing through every one, only for them to regrow in seconds and continue to attack the clone.

"Seems she has more skills in the bag," Silva muttered while struggling against the blast.
