Chapter 45: Time To Hunt A MILF

"Is it really that exaggerated?" Cynthia questioned herself, looking at the layer of crusty dust on top of everything. A gentle breeze could cause chaos here. ’Maybe it is."

"Yes, Madam Cynthia. You have to clean this place up." After Leon finished rubbing his eyes, which had now turned red. He said to Cynthia. "Also, Madam Cynthia, we have checked everything. Your inn is completely fine. Sorry for the inconvenience we caused."

"We apologize for it, Madam Cynthia." Pooland also spoke with guilt in his voice.

Looking at the two boys doing a complete 180-degree turn in attitude, Cynthia was surprised; however, she was inwardly satisfied. It seemed like they still held fear and respect for their smaller noble families in their heart, greatly soothing her.

"It’s okay. So do you want to leave or stay for rest?" Cynthia asked, crossing her arms.

"Not right now; we still have work." Leon shook his head, not wanting to stay in this place for even a second.

"We will take our leave, Madam Cynthia." Pooland also agreed and quickly left, followed by Cynthia.

...

Sitting in their favorite local bar.

Leon quenched his thirst with the beer along with Pooland.

Thud!

"Ahhhh... Uncle Hilbert’s beer is so good!" Pooland slammed the wooden mug onto the table and exclaimed out loud.

Thud!

"This is Uncle Hilbert’s finest work we are talking about!" Leon too slammed his wooden mug and exclaimed in pure emotion.

No matter how their days went, drinking Uncle Hilbert’s beer makes their body swim in eternal bliss.

"So..." Pooland expression changed instantly. He said sternly. "What did you find?"

Leon’s expression also changed. He stared into Pooland’s eyes and replied. "I found signs of life underneath the inn."

Pooland’s eyes widened in shock. He didn’t doubt Leon’s words, as he had experienced Leon’s [Life Sense]. No matter the place, Leon could easily tell how many people there were and where they were. At that moment, Pooland was extremely amazed by Leon’s new skill.

"If there are signs of life, that means..." Pooland didn’t finish, but Leon understood the implication. The missing children might be hidden underneath the Rosenthal Inn.

"But we can’t come to a direct conclusion, or it might backfire on us gravely." On the other hand, Leon didn’t want to present their guess as truth to Aldric. There were a million other reasons for life underground.

Right now, they couldn’t do anything that might lead to them being wrongly accused. They might lose their job even before catching a glimpse of the culprits.

"Then what should we do?" Pooland slumped his body on the table, mentally exhausted from this case. He just wanted to stroll the streets and maintain peace.

Leon rubbed his chin and pondered to himself. "We can report this discovery to the commander but can’t say it as if it is the truth. We have to infiltrate the inn and check on it by ourselves."

"Now to that, we have gone unnoticed, which is impossible as none of us has any infiltration ability... Hmmm!" Coming to this point, a figure flashed before his flash. It was someone very close to him—his wife Nyxia.

Nyxia was very skilled in breaking in, and she had a skill that could make her go silent at night.

’It looks like I have to put my wife to use now.’ Leon decided to have Nyxia infiltrate the inn at night and found out the truth underground.

However, to do that, he had to find out if there were any strong people watching over the inn and distract the manager lady too, as he felt there was magical fluctuation around her, on the same level as his.

"So it seems..." A wide grin appeared on Leon’s face, making Pooland curious.

"Why are you smiling? Did you find a way?"

"Oh, I have indeed found out a way." Leon said with a smirk, as if he were about to play some fun game.

"Really? How?"

"We will have to hunt a MILF." Leon’s answer left Pooland speechless.

Pooland pointed his finger at Leon. "What MILF will we be hunting?"

"The manager lady," Leon said as he chugged down the beer. Finishing it in a single gulp, he slammed the wooden mug and shouted. "Uncle Hilbert, give us another round."

"Coming right away!" Uncle Hilbert received the order and told the waiter to send four rounds of beer to Leon’s table. He had grown accustomed to Leon and Pooland as they were his new regular customers.

Meanwhile, Pooland was still speechless. He once again asked with a shocked gaze. "Will scoring with the manager lady really let us find the secret? Can you really make her spill the beans in the bed?"

Pooland already backed away from participating in this, as he couldn’t bring himself banging a married mature woman with his brother. This was too much for a novice like him.

Leon didn’t mind his brother backing away, as he alone was already enough. He just wanted to have some fun with his brother; unfortunately, it seemed like he still had shame in his heart.

"If I can make her spill the beans in the bed, then it would be amazing. But I am sure she wouldn’t unless I directly asked. By then she would become vigilant, and a fight might even break out." Leon spoke truthfully about what he thought.

Then he brought out his wife, Nyxia. "My only job is to distract her. The key to this operation is your sister-in-law Nyxia. You will escort her safely and guard outside as she infiltrates the inn."

"What!?" Pool stood up in shock, causing the waiter who brought their beer to stare at him weirdly. Pooland’s outburst almost scared him, making him almost let go of the wooden mugs filled with beer.

"Here is your beer." The waiter left the beers and quickly left. He didn’t want to stay here where he would have been scolded and had his salary deducted by the boss. ’I hate serving nutcases.’
