"My Master wants to challenge the Master of Biluo Peak."

Those teams are over twenty by now, right? So many people challenging, all yelling and making a racket, all enthusiastically signing up.

Master of Biluo Peak...

Female Immortal...

Female cultivator...

So lively. The noisy commotion stirred up discussion among the Servant Disciples, Outer Sect Disciples, and Inner Sect Disciples.

What kind of show is this supposed to be?

With this many people challenging, are they planning a wheel battle?

Isn’t this just bullying Biluo Peak?

Those who just entered the Immortal Sect and don’t know the situation just listened.

Those who’ve been in the Immortal Sect for more than a year have already seen the Master of Biluo Peak get challenged many times, only before it was no disciples, just those so-called Masters and Elders challenging him.

But it’s said the Master of Biluo Peak is quite sly. Every time those people go to Biluo Peak, they never find him.

They can’t keep waiting forever, can they?

Again and again they set things up, and again and again the Master of Biluo Peak slips away.

So Biluo Peak has never taken in disciples, and there’s always just that one thatched hut.

All the other peaks have more and more people. Every peak takes in Servant Disciples and Outer Sect Disciples to do tasks; only Biluo Peak has never hired anyone for tasks.

And it’s said the reason they’ve never posted any tasks is because there’s only the Master of Biluo Peak, so there’s no need to hire anyone.

No planting, no raising spiritual beasts, and none of the other Immortal Sect chores.

Biluo Peak being this poor is something they’ve all heard, so no one enters Biluo Peak.

...

The Master of Biluo Peak is being shouted at by so many people, all wanting those three Master and disciples to go into battle.

Of course he wants to brush them off, no matter if others call him cowardly or spineless.

The Master of Biluo Peak will never go up proactively. With the system backing him, he’ll only make a move at the very end to slap their faces.

If something comes up, the disciple goes up first...

So the first one to fight is the Female Immortal. She originally wanted to use her sword, but the Master of Biluo Peak spoke:

"Disciple, better use that kitchen knife I gave you. You’ve been using it these days and should be pretty used to it, right?"

Hearing her Master, the Female Immortal thought of that kitchen knife she’d used to deal with those people before; it really was handy.

At this point she wasn’t bothered about whether it looked good or not. As long as the tool worked, beating these challengers into beggar state would be great.

Thinking of this, she remembered that guy she’d turned into a beggar that day, standing in the crowd with a face full of hate, murderous eyes.

If not for the wrong occasion, she would’ve burst out laughing.

The Female Immortal took out the kitchen knife, then hopped up onto the arena platform.

Those people had just said they wanted to challenge them—so many of them—yet the Female Immortal snatched the first move. While they were still hesitating over who should go up first in this three-on-many fight...

Seeing a Female Immortal holding a kitchen knife step onto the arena, then looking back at the men and women who’d been shouting about challenging them, they all hesitated. You look at me, I look at you—team after team wavered over whether to go up.

It was really because a few days ago, when the Female Immortal used a kitchen knife to fight people, that humiliating style of battle had been witnessed firsthand by many.

They didn’t want to go up and be humiliated. But they’d been yelling so loudly before—someone has to go up, right?

So a few teams discussed it and decided each team would send someone first.

They each sent out their strongest, but the one sent out first was basically cannon fodder, the one whose brain wasn’t that quick.

"You go up."

"Ah, me?"

The first one pushed onto the stage was a big burly man built like a tank.

Shoved up onto the arena, he grinned foolishly: "Hehehehehehe, little beauty, how about you just don’t fight? You’re no match for me. I can crush you with one hand. With that weak-chicken strength of yours, sigh, you’d better get off the stage!"

The Female Immortal rolled her eyes: "Looking down on women? Hmph! I’ll make you look down on women..."

As she spoke, the kitchen knife moved. By the time she finished her sentence, the knife’s light had already enveloped him.

They saw the kitchen knife swing; the light was like a thousand blades, every blade shooting at that big man. He threw up a light shield to protect himself.

He was also planning to use his own techniques to deal with the Female Immortal.

He thought male and female strength were different. Too bad his opponent was the Female Immortal—someone who had already been an Immortal Emperor. Even if her cultivation had fallen, her Divine Sense combat speed was not something a mere true Foundation Establishment Stage cultivation could compare to.

The Female Immortal’s cultivation had already recovered to the Golden Core Stage. The other party was only Foundation Establishment. With a single move, he couldn’t resist.

The blade edge bit into his body, not only shredding the cultivator’s Vestment robe but also cutting into his flesh.

If the Female Immortal hadn’t wanted to avoid killing, if she weren’t just trying to teach them a lesson, this big guy would’ve died in one move.

Everyone watched as the blade light flashed by, and in an instant the big man standing on the stage turned into a blood-soaked figure, clothes in tatters. Only the patch over his butt was intact; every other place was cut into strips—worse than a beggar’s outfit.

They had once again witnessed someone turned into beggar clothes in a single move.

The big man only felt pain all over, unable to withstand even one move. Realizing his whole body was drenched in blood, a bit faint at the sight of it, with his clothes in such disarray, he was too embarrassed to keep fighting.

He fled, flying down off the arena.

With the first one losing so miserably, unable to withstand even a single move from this woman...

People looked at this beautiful young woman in front of them—she was truly fierce. She looked soft and delicate, but that was just appearances.

Was that kitchen knife really that powerful?

It could fight on equal footing, and the opponent couldn’t even last one move.

They all realized she’d held back. If she hadn’t, the man wouldn’t just have a few superficial cuts. Those little external wounds were nothing compared to slicing off a head or hitting a vital spot.

External injuries only needed a Healing Pill to stop the bleeding and heal. Internal injury wasn’t that easy. There were many different levels of internal injury. Besides, even though they called this an arena duel, with so many people challenging just three, everyone already knew some of them wanted one of the three dead.

Maybe the first woman to go up, even if she lost, wouldn’t be killed. The only one they wanted dead was the Master of Biluo Peak.

The Female Immortal swept a contemptuous gaze over the teams of cultivators below, the kitchen knife in her hand still gleaming bloody light.

"Come on, next fight, who’s coming up?"

The Female Immortal showed not the slightest fear as she called for more challengers. Pointing her knife at a few teams, she swept her finger across, expression cold and arrogant.

Her attitude made the other team members’ faces go from the previous arrogance and smugness to dark and ugly.

The men felt this woman was far too unruly and needed to be taught a lesson; they had to subdue her and then "train" her properly.

The women felt that with the Female Immortal acting this high and mighty, she did deserve a beating.

But their strength was no match for hers—what could they do?

So this time, the one they sent wasn’t Foundation Establishment—it was a tall, skinny man in the Golden Core Stage, with triangular eyes and a sleazy look.

"Whoa!"

The Servant Disciples, Outer Sect Disciples, Inner Sect Disciples who recognized this male disciple all cried out. In their hearts they sighed and worried for the woman on the arena.

Isn’t this just straightforward bullying?

If they themselves get bullied, fine—but bullying such a beautiful woman?

A Golden Core Stage man—does he have any shame?

He actually wants to challenge a woman at a different cultivation level.

This is straight-up bullying a woman. That guy has no shame, and those teams have no shame.

Is this shamelessness in action?

As a Golden Core Stage man, a senior, he’s this shameless... and the others look like they don’t feel any shame at all, all tacitly approving this.

Looks like every peak is pretty shameless.

Even though they themselves can’t join those peaks, or even if they’ve already joined a peak, they’re only Duty Performers and not considered true members of the peak, they still have to be careful while working on those peaks.

"Go ahead, make your move—I’ll let you have one strike..."

The man’s voice was smug, looking down on the Female Immortal.

As the Female Immortal moved to attack, he put up a protective barrier around himself, gloating inwardly that after he let her strike once and she failed to break his shield, then he would attack, so no one could say he was bullying her!

The Female Immortal’s knife moved again. This time the blade whooshed forward, flying into the barrier around him, hacking at his protective shield over and over.
