Chapter 780: Coffee and a sarong

“Is that how it works?” Adam asked with a smirk.

“That’s how it works,” Revi replied with a smirk of her own.

“Then I guess we should continue with the lessons,” Adam suggested.

Revi nodded and said, “I’m in your care, teacher.”

“Then this time we will do the same as before, except you're going to hold your breath before you fall forward and float face down,” Adam instructed. “Once again, I will be next to you and support you.”

“Face down, hmm?” Revi asked suspiciously. “Are you sure you're not just trying to cop a feel of my breasts?”

“Would you mind if I did?” Adam asked back before adding. “Unfortunately, however, you just told me not to do anything to you until we have kissed, so I unfortunately won’t be able to cop a feel, even if I wanted to.”

“You're right; perhaps I should have waited a bit before mentioning that,” Revi sighed in realisation.

Adam smiled before saying, “Perhaps you should have.”

“Oh, you’ve started?” Rowena’s voice suddenly said as she appeared from the house with Aphrodite, both of whom were also wearing bathing suits.

Aphrodite smiled at Adam before her eyes glowed slightly as they moved towards Revi, causing a knowing smirk to emerge on her lips.

Aphrodite leaned into Rowena and covered her mouth while whispering, “Seems they’ve been naughty.”

“Then it seems you wont have to wait long,” Rowena replied as they both approached a pair of empty sunbeds.

Adam couldn’t help but admire the arrival of the two beauties, who had begun chatting with the other women. He was about to look away when he noticed something that caused his gaze to remain on Aphrodite, while he frowned slightly.

“Ouch,” Adam replied as he turned to her, saying apologetically. “Sorry.”

“I don’t mind you admiring other women; it’s bound to happen when you have your own group relationship, and they're all wearing such revealing outfits, but you're supposed to be teaching me to swim,” Revi pouted.

Adam smirked as he said, “Sounds like someone's jealous.”

Revi looked away before mumbling, “Would that be so bad?”

“Not at all.” Adam smiled. “I just noticed that Aphrodite's not… perfect.”

“Not perfect?” Revi asked in confusion.

Adam nodded before instructing, “Look at the area around her rib cage.”

Revi raised an eyebrow before doing as instructed and quickly noticed what Adam meant. “She appears to have begun ageing. How long has it been since she last fed?”

“Since she started travelling with us, I think,” Adam replied.

“I see,” Revi replied. “I’m honestly surprised she’s so openly showing it.”

“Why?” Adam asked.

“As a long-lived race which finds it easy to mate with others as well as survives off devouring others' bodily fluids, any Succuba who shows signs of ageing is seen as a failure and an embarrassment in their race," Revi explained.

“Hmm, she doesn’t seem to care,” Adam replied as he observed Aphrodite talking happily to the other women.

Revi nodded before saying, “That’s what's surprising.”

“What’s this? Are you finally falling for me, Adam?” Aphrodite asked with a smile as she noticed his stare.

Adam didn’t reply except to smile at her before turning back to Revi and asking, “Shall we continue?”

“Let's,” Revi nodded.

“Ok, then remember that this time you need to take a deep breath before falling forward into the water,” Adam stated.

Revi nodded again before she began to take some slow, deep breaths.

A few seconds later, Revi spread her legs and arms wide once again before taking a final deep breath and allowing herself to fall face-first into the water.

As before, Adam quickly moved beside her and began to support her body, making sure not to do anything inappropriate.

Although he was naturally tempted to do so, especially after their talk, he figured it was best not to surprise her in case she accidentally released the breath she was holding.

“An interesting way to teach someone to swim,” Rowena said in confusion. “Looks more like floating than swimming.”

“That’s because it is,” Elemence explained. “Apparently, the first thing Revi needs to do is learn to float in the water.”

“That actually makes sense,” Aphrodite nodded.

“I don’t get it,” Tephe frowned. “When I swim, my body naturally stays on the surface unless I dive under.”

“Sure, but what about when you stop swimming, because you're tired or something?” Aphrodite asked.

“Ohh, now I get it,” Tephe nodded.

“Want to take bets on how long she can stay like that?” Stacey asked.

“Nah,” Eri replied. “It’s her first time, so it won’t be that long.”

As Eri had anticipated, Revi lasted approximately thirty seconds before she had to come back up for air.

Once again, Adam pulled her close and held her as she began to gasp for air while he asked, “How was that?”

“Fine, it was rather relaxing, well, up until the whole running out of air thing,” Revi replied.

“You lasted almost thirty seconds; that’s really good for a first attempt,” Adam congratulated. “How about we move on to the next stage once you catch your breath?”

Revi didn’t respond except to nod and lean against Adam while she continued to take deep breaths.

“Yeah, that’s about what I was expecting,” Eri remarked.

“Bah, I can last longer than that,” Tephe boasted proudly.

“Girl, you can survive in space; you can probably stay underwater permanently,” Aphrodite replied. “The only people here who can match that are Lorelie and Muriel, and that’s only because they can breathe underwater.”

“Adam can also breathe underwater,” Lorelie’s voice announced as she, Emma, Erkath and Muriel emerged from the house, wearing bikinis, though Emma also wore a sarong.

“That’s unexpected,” Aphrodite replied. “I was under the impression that his race couldn’t breathe underwater.”

“We can’t,” Emma replied in surprise. “How’s that possible?”

“Something to do with his latest round of body enhancements,” Lorelie explained. “Aparently his artificial lungs were upgraded to allow him to breathe underwater.”

“He has artificial lungs?” Emma asked

Lorelie nodded while saying, "Apparently they were damaged during the whole Jenny incident and needed replacing.”

“Are you two drinking coffee?” Rowena asked as she sniffed and glanced at the cups in Emma and Erkath’s hands.

“Yeah,” Eekath replied. “It’s really good.”

“It certainly has a distinct aroma,” Kasumi said as she sniffed the air.

“Ugh, no, that stuff's way too bitter,” Tephe remarked.

“Well, you are addicted to ice cream,” Emma laughed.

“Why are you covering yourself up like that, Emma?” Aphrodite asked with a smirk. “Are you feeling modest?”

Emma smiled in return as she took a sip of her coffee before saying, “Not at all. I just don’t want to burn my legs.”

“Do you tend to burn easily?” Stacy asked curiously.

“Certain parts of my body, such as my legs, are prone to burning if not properly protected,” Emma replied.

Kasumi admired the cloth while asking, “With that piece of clothing?”

“It’s apparently called a sarong,” Erkath answered.

“Trust you to already know that.” Rowena smiled.

“Enjoying the view?” Revi asked as she noticed that Adam was once again checking out the four who had just arrived.

“For the most part,” Adam said with a frown.

“For the most part?” Revi repeated in confusion.

Adam sighed before saying in a low voice, “They all look great, except that while the bikini is an item of clothing for women, it wasn’t designed for women with a penis.”

“Oh!” Revi said in understanding as she glanced in Muriel’s direction. “The bulge is kind of noticeable.”

“That’s an understatement,” Adam replied.

“Perhaps you should tell her,” Revi suggested.

Adam thought for a moment before shaking his head. “No, I’m not close enough to her for that.”

Revi nodded before thinking for a moment, after which she looked at Lorelie and called out, “Lorelie, can you come here for a moment?”

“Is something wrong?” Lorelie asked while looking over in surprise.

Revi shook her head while saying, “We just need your help with something.”

“Oh, ok,” Lorelie replied before she stood up from her sunbed and approached the pool.

“Emma, make sure to watch closely, your about to see something new,” Erkath whispered.

Emma nodded in response, although she already had an idea of what was about to happen.

Lorelie lowered herself into the water, and as she did so, Emma watched in fascination as Lorelie’s legs seemed to merge together and transform into what she would call a mermaid's tail.

“Amazing,” Emma marvelled.

Lorelie turned her head back to Emma with a smile before she swished her tail and swam over to where Adam and Revi were.

“It feels so nice to be back in the water,” Lorelie said with a smile.

Adam admired her tail while saying, “Perhaps we should see about installing a pool in Spector.”

“That would be great.” Lorelie smiled. “But is it even possible?”

“Spector?” Adam asked.

[Affirmative. It is possible to convert one of the cabins into a makeshift swimming pool.]
