Chapter 757: Rowena and Emma

“This orbital station has way more of an aquatic feel to it than the one on Solarian Prime,” Adam remarked while he pushed a hovertrolly containing multiple cases as the group proceeded towards the security checkpoint.

“No real surprise,” Lorelie said with a smile as she pushed another hovertrolly next to him. “Solarian Prime is more plant-focused, while Aqua Primus is water-focused.”

“Oh,” Adam replied as he continued to look around.

“Didn’t you notice that the one on Solarian Prime was greener in colour?” Rowena asked in disbelief.

“At the time, I was paying more attention to a certain someone who was trying to monopolise me,” Adam replied while smiling.

“Guilty as charged,” Rowena stated proudly.

“It’s so strange to not have people rush up to us and ask for autographs and photos, Aphrodite remarked as she looked around at the other individuals who went about their own business.

Occasionally, people would glance at their party because of the sheer number of beautiful women who were a part of it, but other than that, they made no attempt to approach them.

“Thank the earrings,” Lorelie said as she flicked the earring that was attached to her left ear.

Before departing, Adam had given the three divas in their party their own earrings so that they could change their hair colour and hopefully go unnoticed, and so far it seemed to be working.

“We’re still attracting plenty of attention, though,” Eytelis remarked.

“What do you expect to happen when nine beauties congregate?” Adam remarked, making all the women smile.

“Casanova,” Rowena stated happily.

“Someone’s trying for an orgy,” Emma teased.

“A what?” Lorelie asked.

“As long as Adam’s the only guy, I’m game,” Revi proclaimed.

“You haven’t even lost your virginity yet,” Rowena retorted. “And what happened to an empress only having one lover?”

“I said, as an empress, the only cock I would ever accept is my husband's; I never said anything about the rest of you,” Revi answered.

“I’ll be sure to remember that when you’ve finally lost your virginity,” Rowena teased.

“Please do,” Revi responded with a flirtatious smile.

“Would you two just make out already?” Aphrodite complained.

“I'd love to, but I can’t; first, we're in public and as an empress, I need to be mindful of my position," Revi replied.

"I'm glad you remember that," Elemence remarked.

"Secondly, I haven’t even kissed Adam yet,” Revi added as she ignored Elemece's comment.

As the women all heard that, they came to an abrupt halt before turning to stare at Adam in shock.

“What?” Adam asked.

“You went out on a date with Revi and Tephe, and yet you didn’t even kiss them?” Stacey asked in surprise.

“Well, stuff happened,” Adam replied.

“I knew I should have insisted on fighting him and taken the chance to kill him,” Tephe hissed as Maya also made an angry noise from atop her head.

“Alright, ladies, calm down; we’re attracting attention,” Lorelie warned as she noticed that some people had stopped to pay attention to the group.

“Let's keep moving; we’re trying to be incognito here,” Emma suggested.

“Agreed,” Rowena replied before grabbing Emma and pulling her ahead of the others.

“What do you suppose that’s about?” Stacey asked suspiciously.

“I have an inkling,” Aphrodite replied with a smirk.

“So, have you decided?” Rowena hissed quietly to Emma.

“I’m leaning towards the idea,” Emma replied. “I mean, I’ve been part of a few threesomes in the past.”

“Oh?” Rowena replied while smiling. “And what did you think of them?”

“I generally enjoyed them, though they were only for fun back then,” Emma replied.

“Since you're now leaning towards joining, would you be interested in joining me and Adam for some fun in the future?” Rowena asked.

“And you have no interest in proposing this to Stacey for obvious reasons?” Emma asked.

“Exactly,” Rowena nodded. “Neither Stacey nor I are interested in that sort of thing. Plus, I’m still rebuilding our relationship.”

“Really?” Emma asked in surprise. “You seem to get along fine from what I’ve seen.”

“Oh, we're definitely much better off than we were, and discovering the truth about what happened to her back then definitely helped, but we’re still not at the stage we were when she was little,” Rowena explained.

“You know she'll never be the same as she was back then, right?” Emma asked. “I mean, she's a grown woman now.”

“I know,” Rowena said sadly. “But I can dream.”

There was silence between the two for a few moments before Rowena nudged Emma and said, “Anyway, this isn’t why I dragged you aside.”

“You mean arranging a threesome with Adam wasn’t your goal?” Emma asked in mock disappointment.

“Oh, that's definitely something for the future if you're open to the idea, but let's keep it a secret between us for now,” Rowena replied while winking.

“Ok, then why did you drag me aside?” Emma asked.

“I need your help in persuading Erkath to join the harem,” Rowena whispered conspiratorially.

“Why are you whispering like that when she’s not even here?” Emma asked in bewilderment. “And why are you asking for my help?”

“Oh, right,” Rowena replied as her voice returned to normal. “You may not know this, but Erkath is very particular about who she calls a friend.

Don’t get me wrong, she’s polite to everyone and can even be playful at times; however, because of her position as the former Hades Galaxy Senator, which even to this day allows her an audience with the Demon King, she’s very selective about who she trusts.

I’m lucky enough to have earned that spot, and so have you. However, while it took me quite a while to earn her trust, you got it almost instantly because you're from outside the known universe.”

“Are you saying that she befriended me because she believed I would never use her to get close to the Demon King?” Emma asked.

“That’s what I believe,” Rowena said, nodding.

“And now that I’m here in the known universe, do you think her attitude will change towards me?” Emma asked in concern.

“No, I don’t think so,” Rowena replied. “While you are indeed here now, you still know and understand very little about the universe. Also, Erkath has taken a liking to you, as she regularly mentions you when we talk.”

“Well, that’s good,” Emma said in relief. “But why do you need my help to persuade her? Don’t you think she has any interest in joining?”

“I wouldn’t say there’s no interest; if that were the case, I wouldn’t be asking you this,” Rowena explained. “She’s said on multiple occasions that she likes Adam as a person; I just think that with how things ended with Vurguth, she’s going to need a little push.”

“You mean she’s going to have trust issues?” Emma asked.

“Wouldn’t you if your mate for several decades cheated on you?” Rowena asked.

“Several decades?” Emma repeated in surprise. “Damn, I figured they had been together for a while, but I had no idea it was that long.”

“Relationships between long-lived individuals tend to be lengthy; unfortunately, this can lead to one or both parties eventually getting bored,” Rowena explained.

“I’m kind of surprised Erkath didn’t get bored, since they were together that long,” Emma remarked.

“She kept herself busy with work so that anytime she did get with Vurguth felt special to her,” Rowena explained before frowning as she added. “Unfortunately, it seems he didn’t feel the same way.”

Emma thought for a moment before saying in a serious tone, “I’m not sure how to put this, so I’m just going to come right out and say it: what’s to stop you or one of Adam’s other future long-lived lovers from getting bored and leaving him?”

“A fair question,” Rowena responded. “While I can’t speak for anyone else, I can guarantee that I will never leave Adam.”

“How can you promise that?” Emma asked with a frown.

Rowena sighed and shook her head before saying in an apologetic tone, “I can’t tell you yet. Only after you become an official member will you earn the right to know. Just be assured that Adam himself, as well as Stacey and Lorelie, know that I plan to spend the rest of my life with him.”

“Or his life with you,” Emma remarked.

“I see what you did there,” Rowena said with a chuckle before asking. “So are you willing to help me with Erkath?”

Emma thought for a moment before nodding as she said, “I’ll help, but I want something in return.”

“What?” Rowena asked curiously.

This time it was Emma who lowered her voice conspiratorially as she said, with a flirtatious look, “For Erkath to occasionally join our fun with Adam.”

Rowena looked at Emma in surprise before flashing a flirtatious smile of her own.
