Chapter 1350: Chapter 1326: Seeking Death (Part 4)

"Let’s go together! Time is short, swift and decisive!" Lao Jiu stepped up, standing shoulder to shoulder with Yelu Shou in front of Ghost Robe.

Yelu Shou raised his eyebrows, although he didn’t want to, he agreed with Lao Jiu’s words. Time waits for no one, so let’s quickly resolve the person in front.

The two reached a tacit understanding, stepping forward with their right foot. In the next second, Yelu Shou’s lean figure darted out, like a sleek leopard, quickly maneuvering in front of Ghost Robe and charging toward his rear.

Ghost Robe raised the two Ghost Blades in his hands, standing in a peculiar posture. His exposed eyes fixed on the charging Yelu Shou, not bothering to defend or attack, as if foolishly awaiting a beating.

Lao Jiu followed closely behind Yelu Shou, charging toward Ghost Robe. During Yelu Shou’s airborne leap, Lao Jiu’s Iron Fan fired hidden weapons toward Ghost Robe’s chest, enveloping his vital spots like raindrops.

The hidden weapons in Lao Jiu’s Iron Fan were unavoidable. If they targeted ordinary people, they would have nowhere to hide. However, no one saw Ghost Robe’s movements clearly. As Yelu Shou leaped into the air, Ghost Robe also jumped up, almost simultaneously in the same direction.

The two floated backward almost sticking together, and as Ghost Blade adhered to Yelu Shou’s abdomen, the sound of tearing fabric echoed. Positioned above, Yelu Shou was startled and quickly used Steel Claw to block.

Clang! Bang!

At the last moment, Steel Claw blocked Ghost Blade, although only scratching the clothes, one claw broke off under Ghost Blade’s brute force.

The two landed steadily on the ground, Yelu Shou stared in shock at Ghost Blade in Ghost Robe’s hand. It slices iron like mud, and his Steel Claw was made from special alloy, yet it was forcibly sliced apart, something never encountered before.

Lao Jiu looked at the claw broken on the ground, then at the green-blue sheen of Ghost Blade, furrowing his brows. "Be cautious, the blade is poisonous."

Ghost Robe, having succeeded in a move, let out a fierce roar. His exposed eyes seemed to ignite like flames, swinging Ghost Blade savagely at Yelu Shou. He had clearly marked Yelu Shou as the adversary, not caring in the least about Lao Jiu behind him. Every strike showed he was exerting all his strength, giving Yelu Shou no chance to counter.

The blue sheen from Ghost Blade expanded like a dense net, ensnaring Yelu Shou’s voice below it. Lao Jiu, seeing this, roared in anger, wanting to rush forward to help Yelu Shou out of the predicament, and right then.

A blue beam shot out from the encirclement, aiming directly at Lao Jiu’s forehead.

The third knife!

Lao Jiu did not anticipate there would be additional weapons within the blue beam, but by the time he realized the danger, it was too late. The beam approached his face, about to pierce into his forehead.

Whoosh!

A spark exploded before Lao Jiu, as he swiftly retreated a few steps. A bullet shot from outside, hitting the blue beam, dropped a fifteen-centimeter-long dart that was now completely broken.

Lao Jiu exhaled a breath, glanced gratefully outward.

On the other side, Quan Mingyuan voiced an expression of doubt. Although he had long guessed Xiao Lin wouldn’t just bring two people, he didn’t realize Xiao Lin had such a remarkable gunman by his side. With such a person present, likely those on the perimeter were all apprehended.

Ghost Robe seemed also caught off guard by the bullet. In that split second of hesitation, Yelu Shou seized an opportunity. His waist bent, using Steel Claw missing one claw, attacked Ghost Robe’s exposed abdomen.

The deadly strike was defused by Ghost Robe with one hand. Ghost Blade grazed Steel Claw’s fingers, pressing down, leaving a crimson line. Seeing Yelu Shou being suppressed, Lao Jiu quickly launched numerous hidden arrows toward Ghost Robe’s back.

The left-hand Ghost Blade reversed, intercepting the hidden projectiles from behind, dropping the arrows to the ground while the right-hand Ghost Blade drew back, lifting Yelu Shou’s Steel Claw up with it. Watching Yelu Shou as if absorbed by Ghost Blade, thrown into the air.

This outcome astonished everyone, wondering if Ghost Robe was too strong or Yelu Shou too weak—not at all like the rumors suggested, defeated without delivering a single effective attack.

Lao Jiu, seeing Yelu Shou thrown up, put away the Iron Fan, his face no longer playful but serious.

Bang! Yelu Shou crashed hard to the ground, Steel Claw on his right hand shattered into pieces.

Ghost Robe’s current expression looked rather perplexed, seemingly not confused by this result, but more dissatisfied. He slowly approached Yelu Shou, as if to confirm.

Clang clang! Five streaks of silver light flashed, sparking colorful blooms, surging toward Ghost Robe’s arms.

Lao Jiu roared angrily. He should have guessed Yelu Shou would make such a move, it’s practically desperate, swinging the Iron Fan with powerful force simultaneously toward Ghost Robe.

Feeling pinched from front and back, suddenly blood surged at the chest, charging a few steps forward. Ghost Blade in hand vibrated numbing both hands.

"You’re insane!" Lao Jiu darted in front of Yelu Shou, anxiously looking at his right hand. "Didn’t I tell you it’s poisonous!" Fortunately, it wasn’t injured; otherwise, if poisoned, it couldn’t be remedied, Black Doctor wasn’t there, can’t have Xiao Lin slitting veins right on site!

"Attack his lower abdomen, three spots, that’s his weakness." Yelu Shou chuckled, not because he’s unable to attack or weak, but willingly using himself to uncover this man’s weakness—it’s risky. If he couldn’t immediately identify the death door, he’d be the one dead.

"Got it!"

Lao Jiu raised the Iron Fan, growled deeply, his tense posture exploded with an entirely different aura from before, swinging the Iron Fan with fierce winds, sweeping toward Ghost Robe’s abdomen at seven inches.

The two Ghost Blades, one hand blocked Lao Jiu’s Iron Fan downward, the other hand stabbed forward, his whole body hovered midair, both legs suddenly coiling, propelled backward.

Ghost Blade and Iron Fan collided issuing a series of explosions, Ghost Robe unable to exert full force under Iron Fan’s pressure. Compared to close combat, Lao Jiu’s long-range attacks had more threatening.

Iron Fan’s length posed a barrier Ghost Blade couldn’t approach, making him uneasy. Being suddenly at a disadvantage, he dodged hidden weapons shot from Iron Fan while trying to approach Lao Jiu. However, the latter gave no such opportunity, every move was aimed directly at Ghost Robe’s abdomen seven inches.
