Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station
Chapter 1326: Monster_4
Chapter 1326: Chapter 369: Monster_4
The gravity spiritual energy around the creature dissipates all the particles fired by the speed particle spear.
His cruiser seems unable to inflict any effective damage on the creature.
Not surprising.
Scavenger Chen Ming estimated its combat power could simultaneously face around a hundred main ships.
And the combat power of this spiritual creature that traverses the black hole must be absolutely formidable.
Just a cruiser dealing real damage to it is indeed an overestimation.
However, Chen Ming’s purpose is not to harm it.
His goal is to use this opportunity to investigate more information about this dark monster.
The dark monster seems to have noticed the ship controlled by Chen Ming has an extraordinarily high mobility, and instead of attacking, it lowers what appears to be its head, opening a terrifyingly large mouth, attempting to devour the Stardust Level.
The Stardust immediately approaches the lower abdomen of the dark monster, the part caught within the black hole.
This area might hold some particularly valuable data.
Suddenly, Chen Ming notices something unusual in the data transmitted back by the black hole sensor.
He immediately changes the course of the Stardust, taking some risks to approach the suspicious area detected by the sensor.
As the distance closes, the black hole sensor finally captures a clearer segment of data.
What seems off to Chen Ming is a limp limb hanging on the side of the black maggot-like monster, seemingly lifeless.
And embedded in the root of this limb is the wreckage of a ship model Chen Ming has never seen before.
Being so close to the black hole, Chen Ming’s Stardust nearly self-destructs and is only held together by Chen Ming’s spiritual energy for continuous maintenance.
Yet, the spacecraft impaled in the dark monster has no damage from gravitational tearing.
There are only signs of aging over time.
This situation leaves Chen Ming to consider only one possibility.
This is something left behind by the Shimmering Civilization.
The Shimmering Civilization intended to develop the Primordial Star System, and of course, the wormholes there would be part of the development; indeed, the presence of this wormhole is the reason for their development.
Thus, it is natural for a ship belonging to the Shimmering Civilization to come here, passing through the wormhole and encountering conflict with the black hole creature for reasons unknown to Chen Ming.
Ultimately left here.
Chen Ming felt a surge of excitement.
Because the ship’s design model is something Chen Ming, despite studying ship technology for so long, doesn’t understand.
He has never heard of any ship withstanding the gravitational pull of a black hole for thirty thousand years to remain intact.
That ship must contain technology far superior to his current level, waiting for him to acquire.
And just as Chen Ming discovered this ship.
The Stardust Level was caught in the gap by the dark monster due to Chen Ming’s sudden change in direction.
With just one move.
The Stardust was torn into two by the dark monster.
Chen Ming’s line of sight within the black hole was thus cut off.
The Stardust Level was destroyed, but Chen Ming had already gathered enough valuable information.
He already had the reasoning to eliminate this monster; now he had another reason.
He must find a way to obtain that presumed Shimmering Civilization ship.
Chen Ming decisively resolved to change his plan.
The black hole was there, not posing an immediate threat, so initially, he had no intention of addressing the black hole’s issue.
But within the black hole, if there exists such unknown entities even raising doubts if they’re organisms, he must first eradicate this repulsive thing.
