Su Qing smiled but said nothing.

She recalled what Gu Xinsheng had told her earlier: the three robbers who had harmed Qiao Wensong and Chen Sheng had committed suicide in the police station. She had figured then that they must have had poison hidden in their mouths, allowing them to take their own lives at a critical moment. That was why, back at the hotel, while tying up the three men, she had paid special attention to their teeth. Sure enough, she had discovered that each of them had a false tooth with poison hidden inside.

So, while she was dealing with Master Zhang, Su Qing naturally made sure to remove the false tooth from his mouth as well.

Master Zhang was furious. He glared at Su Qing, about to say something, but then his mind suddenly grew hazy.

’This is bad!’

Master Zhang clung to his last sliver of clarity and glared at Su Qing. "You drugged me."

Su Qing gave a faint smile. "That’s right. Are you the only one allowed to hypnotize others, while no one is allowed to drug you?"

"You... You are..." Upon hearing Su Qing’s words, Master Zhang’s eyes suddenly widened as if he had remembered something. He stared at Su Qing, managing only a few words before his gaze slowly turned vacant.

Seeing Master Zhang’s condition, Su Qing knew the gray liquid was taking effect. ’I didn’t expect these Feng Shui Masters to have some resistance to the gray liquid,’ she thought. ’But thankfully, its effects are still very powerful.’

"What are the peace charms you’ve been handing out to everyone for? What’s their purpose?" Su Qing asked, seeing that Master Zhang had fallen into a stupor.

Master Zhang’s eyes were fixed as he answered unconsciously, "They are for my Master’s cultivation. He draws these peace charms himself. They can transfer a portion of a person’s luck, which my Master uses to cultivate faster and with less effort."

’Just as I thought.’ Su Qing’s eyes narrowed upon hearing this. "Aren’t you afraid that you’ll be exposed one day for using these harmful things?"

"There’s no need to worry," Master Zhang replied. "There are a great number of these peace charms. Each talisman only siphons a small amount of luck. For the person wearing it, it will only result in minor illnesses and small misfortunes; it won’t be life-threatening. We told the people who receive them that wearing these peace charms will ward off major disasters by letting them get by with only minor illnesses and calamities instead. So, no one suspects that their sickness or bad luck is caused by the peace charm they’re wearing."

Su Qing sneered. "And what about the wearer’s lifespan? Do these peace charms affect it?"

"They do," Master Zhang said. "The aura within the peace charm has an effect on a person’s body. Over a long period, it will naturally affect their lifespan. However, that’s something that would only happen far in the future, so no one would ever suspect the peace charms."

Su Qing was utterly disgusted by the despicable actions of Master Zhang and his group. To advance their own cultivation, they casually harmed the health and longevity of ordinary people, and even made these victims feel indebted to them. It was completely vile, shameless, and degenerate. They weren’t proper Feng Shui Masters at all; they were practitioners of a demonic, heretical path!

Su Qing casually swung her whip, striking Master Zhang heavily. He cried out in pain but had no other reaction, his eyes remaining vacant.

Taking a deep breath, Su Qing continued her questioning. "What about the disciples your Master accepted? It was said they were all sent abroad for training. Where were they actually sent, and what were they made to do?"

"My Master built plantations in several foreign locations. The disciples were all sent there to be responsible for the planting, security, and experiments."

"What do you grow in the plantations?"

"Opium poppies."

"The plantation in the mountains of Guang Province, within Hua Country—did that also belong to your Master?" Su Qing asked.

"Yes," Master Zhang said. "Unfortunately, it was destroyed by the Hua Country police."

"Does that mean the Hetian Association in Xiangcheng is just a puppet in your Master’s hands?"

"Correct. On the surface, the Hetian Association is in charge, but in reality, the true controller behind the scenes is my Master."

"So, the retaliation against Su Qing in Beijing and the police in Guang Province and Yun Province—that was also your Master’s doing?"

Master Zhang nodded. "Yes, it was all at my Master’s instruction. It’s just a shame that only one police officer from Guang Province died. My Master was very angry about that."

Su Qing couldn’t help but grind her teeth. ’Only one police officer died!’ Her eyes blazed with fury as she stared at Master Zhang. Unable to restrain herself, she lashed him several more times with her whip, beating him until he was covered in blood. Only then did the fire in her heart subside slightly.

The officer killed by Master Zhang’s group was not even thirty years old. He had only been married for two years, and just one week before he died in the line of duty, his daughter had been born.

Because of these inhuman beasts, a little girl lost her father not long after she was born, and a family was shattered—to say nothing of all the other families who were destroyed and torn apart by their plantations.

Su Qing couldn’t help but think of Wang Xuehong, the party secretary of their Lihua Village. If it hadn’t been for that plantation deep in the mountains of Guang Province, Wang Xuehong would not have lost his life in vain!

Su Qing calmed herself and continued, "After the families of the disciples your Master sent to the foreign plantations went to visit them, some returned, but some did not. What happened to them?"

Master Zhang said, "Those people had nothing better to do. My Master took on those disciples and gave their families so much money and so many things. They should have just been content to live their lives, but no, they had to miss their children and insist on visiting. Fine, if they wanted to see them, we let them see. So my Master sent all of them to the plantations. The disobedient ones were forced to stay—either to work or to be killed. As for the rest, the ones who were willing to come back and help spread word of my Master’s good deeds, he let them return. That way, no one would be suspicious, and people would even think my Master is magnanimous and righteous."

Su Qing was so angry she laughed. ’What a brilliant scheme,’ she thought sarcastically.

Afterward, Su Qing questioned Master Zhang in detail about the specific locations of the plantations, their layouts, the number of personnel, and the public-facing forces responsible for them. She recorded every detail, planning to hand the information over to Li Fenghuo and Gu Xinsheng later. They could then handle the specific arrangements for how to proceed, as there were quite a few plantations, and two of them were even located within Hua Country’s borders.

It had to be said that Master Zhang, as Little Master Wen’s head disciple, knew an incredible amount of detail. After all, he was the one who personally carried out these operations. Su Qing also managed to get the clear location of the cave where Little Master Wen cultivated. Now that they were in A Tai, Su Qing had no intention of letting Little Master Wen get away.

Finally, Su Qing asked, "Does that Master Wen in Xiangcheng know about the things you and your Master have been doing?"
