The one who spoke was none other than Bowa-Russell, bearer of the title 【Sea Witch】.

"Could the deserted island you mentioned be the same one where you discovered the Darksun Church’s altar last time?"

After hearing Bowa-Russell’s information, Lori–Spark, who sat nearby, asked thoughtfully.

"That’s right, it’s the same island. And the only reason I was able to discover the ruins beneath it this time was thanks to Bai’s help."

As she spoke, Bowa-Russell turned toward 【Mirror Witch】Bai, and Bai merely nodded lightly without saying a word.

"The exterior of the ruin is enveloped by a concealed barrier. With my own strength alone, I couldn’t break it."

"Therefore, if any of you are interested in the ruins, I can lead the way."

Upon hearing this, Sophina–Silvermoon, who sat diagonally across from Bowa-Russell, paused in thought before replying,

"I’m currently on the Eastern Continent with Koukie. If you can wait for us, we’d like to join the expedition."

"How long will that take?"

"Five days at most."

The moment Sophina–Silvermoon gave her answer, Bowa-Russell nodded almost without hesitation. Then her gaze once again turned toward 【Mirror Witch】Bai.

"Bai, when we break through the barrier, I’ll have to trouble you to scout the way ahead for us."

"Mm."

Facing Bowa-Russell’s request, Bai remained expressionless as ever and responded with a faint hum—her way of agreeing.

"So, the so-called 【Dream Conference】 is basically an information exchange among senior members—"

As a first-time participant, Janna–Roland couldn’t help but feel like a “country girl visiting the city” while listening to the veterans converse.

"Yesterday, Aog, the Blue Dragon of 【Twilight Hymn】, contacted me through the Bauhinia Auction House. He said he wanted to purchase a bottle of 【Amber Solvent】, but it seems our ‘materials’ are running low."

Twilight Hymn?

When Sophina–Silvermoon mentioned the organization, Janna’s eyes flickered with thought.

If she remembered correctly, 【Twilight Hymn】, like 【Witch Sect】, was also a relatively secretive underground group. Moreover, it was an extraordinary organization devoted to “eternal immortality.”

Unlike organizations such as the 【White Tower】 or the 【Witch Sect】, which were composed mainly of human wizards, 【Twilight Hymn】 consisted largely of long-lived beings—elves, dragons, and undead alike.

Janna had once read about them in a book titled 《The Faction Wars》 within the Turin Library. It was written that members of 【Twilight Hymn】 were not only of long-lived races but also zealots obsessed with the concept of “spiritual immortality.”

"I recall 【Amber Solvent】 being a potion specifically designed to undo soul-sealing witchcraft. Ordinary wizards would rarely need it. Of course, for a group like 【Twilight Hymn】, who love sealing their own souls for research, the demand must be quite high."

While Janna was recalling the doctrines of 【Twilight Hymn】, Lori–Spark suddenly frowned and said,

"I’ve already entered 【Land of Desire】 once half a month ago, so I can’t acquire new ‘materials’ there. What about Fran? I think she hasn’t entered 【Land of Desire】 recently."

"Fran is currently trapped in the Abyss. She won’t be able to leave anytime soon.”

Upon hearing Sophina–Silvermoon’s words, Lori–Spark’s frown deepened.

"If even Fran can’t enter 【Land of Desire】, then only Madam President remains—but, considering her injuries…"

At this point, Lori–Spark’s gaze shifted to the head seat, where the 【Dream Demon Witch】Yuli–Bauhinia sat.

"Until I recover fully, I can’t enter 【Land of Desire】 either."

"So, the 【Dream Demon Witch】 is injured…"

Listening quietly from the side, Janna was slightly startled by the exchange between Lori–Spark and 【Dream Demon Witch】Yuli–Bauhinia.

If Janna was not mistaken, the Dream Demon Witch’s rank should be equivalent to the 【Lord of Wisdom and Knowledge】 of the White Tower—both being Third-Tier Wizards.

And to injure a wizard powerful enough to rival a god… Across the entire Wizard Continent, there should be no such existence.

Could it be… caused by those extra-dimensional evil gods—?

While Janna was still lost in speculation, the 【Dream Demon Witch】 suddenly turned her calm, steady gaze toward her and spoke in a composed tone,

“But now, we have found someone more suitable.”

The moment her words fell, Janna once again became the center of everyone’s attention.

"She’s only a Third-Tier Wizard Apprentice. Even if she’s grasped the 【Fragment of the Law of Beauty】, there’s no way she could resist the chaotic thoughts within 【Land of Desire】."

Though Lori–Spark’s words were blunt, her concern stemmed from genuine worry for Janna’s safety. For that reason, Janna’s impression of this 【Fire Witch】 improved significantly.

"Lori, Madam President would never send Janna into danger needlessly. Besides, her capabilities far exceed what you imagine."

In response to Lori–Spark’s “doubt,” Sophina–Silvermoon, who had personally recommended Janna, was the first to explain.

Even so, the sheer power gap between a full-fledged wizard and an apprentice still made Lori–Spark skeptical.

No matter how capable she is, she’s still just a wizard apprentice—

But just as Lori–Spark continued to voice her opinion, a radiant light suddenly flashed across the high-backed chair behind Janna.

In the next instant, a 【Law Totem】 bearing four dazzling hues—verdant green, withered yellow, rose pink, and pure white—slowly emerged behind her seat.

"She actually… has mastered four 【Law Fragments】!?"

Not only Lori–Spark, but even 【Sea Witch】Bowa–Russell, who also learned this for the first time, looked astonished.

Even 【Mirror Witch】Bai, whose face was usually devoid of emotion, raised her brows slightly and gazed at the 【Law Totem】 behind Janna with a thoughtful expression.

"Whether she’s qualified to enter 【Land of Desire】 or not, all you need to do is probe the 【Fragment of the Law of Beauty】 she holds"

It was 【Dream Demon Witch】Yuli–Bauhinia who spoke, and as soon as she did, Lori–Spark extended her Spirit Power toward the 【Fragment of the Law of Beauty】 totem behind Janna’s chair.

"She’s only attained a slightly higher level of comprehension toward the Law Fragment. That doesn’t necessarily mean anything—wait, what is this?"

As Lori–Spark delved deeper into her probing, she suddenly sensed a force both strange and unfathomable—
