"Despite having so many pillows, nothing feels as comfortable as using my husband’s arm as a pillow!" Evelyn lifted her face with a bright smile and looked at Caden Lockwood, "Without it, I can’t sleep well!"

"Nonsense." Caden’s voice was full of indulgent affection, "Every night when I come home, you’ve already fallen asleep soundly."

Faced with Caden’s merciless revelation, Evelyn’s lips awkwardly twitched.

This man, can’t he be a little more tactful?

Evelyn clenched her fists tightly, took a deep breath, then laughed and invited him, "Driving must be tiring, right? I’m exhausted too! How about we take a nap first? Anyway, there’s still a while before dinner!"

"You sleep." Caden whispered, "I’m going outside for a walk."

"Suddenly, I’m not sleepy anymore!" Evelyn quickly changed her mind, "I’ll go out for a walk with you!"

Caden furrowed his brows, sizing Evelyn up from head to toe, finding her behavior quite strange at the moment.

Evelyn secretly blamed herself for acting too obvious.

What if Caden saw through her intentions and directly rejected her, what should she do then?

"Actually, I was thinking, if I sleep now, I won’t be able to sleep at night." Evelyn found a seemingly reasonable explanation, "So, I thought it might be better not to sleep."

Seeing Caden’s scrutinizing and suspicious gaze, Evelyn felt even more uneasy, finally shouting out loud, "Do you want to go out or not?"

Caden abruptly raised his hand and tapped Evelyn’s head, giving her a fierce glare.

Caden and Evelyn had just reached the villa’s entrance when a car drove up.

Soon after, the car door opened, Eleanor Keaton ran towards Caden, her face full of excitement.

"Brother Caden!" Eleanor completely ignored Evelyn, "I’m so happy to go out with you!"

Evelyn was taken aback, then looked over at Caden.

She thought to herself: Could it be that he invited Eleanor over?

He said he would choose between Shannon Dunn and Eleanor Keaton, does it mean he chose Eleanor?

"Why are you here?" Caden frowned.

Listening to his succinct and somewhat disdainful words, Evelyn finally breathed a slight sigh of relief.

But in the next moment, her heart tightened again.

With Eleanor excluded as the candidate for the future wife, does that only leave Shannon Dunn?

Noticing Evelyn’s gaze filled with resentment, Caden opened his mouth, but before he could explain, Eleanor spoke up first.

"Brother Caden, this is your villa, and also my villa! So of course, I can come here!"

With that, Eleanor had her driver take her luggage to a room.

Evelyn glared hatefully at Eleanor, she hadn’t even sorted things out with her husband, how could a rival suddenly appear?

"Weren’t we going out for a walk?" Evelyn tightened her grip on Caden’s hand, "You can’t possibly be deterred by the sun and plan to stay inside the villa, right?"

"Let’s go." Caden whispered.

"I’m coming too!" Eleanor immediately followed.

She came here intending to make another effort.

She has liked Caden for so many years, she absolutely couldn’t give up easily!

Even if Caden is married, what of it?

His marriage, not acknowledged by the Lockwood Family, could end at any time!
