Seven Cubs, Seven Fathers, Zero Days Off
Chapter 252 - 250: Unkillable
Chapter 252: Chapter 250: Unkillable
From a distance, the purple-haired monster resembled a small mountain. It fed on human blood, creating a gruesome, unbearable scene. Ge Miao’s father and her two older brothers were so terrified that they immediately tried to flee. Unfortunately, they were discovered by Hu Tu and the monster. During the chase, Ge Miao’s father was captured alive by Hu Tu while trying to save his two sons and thrown to the beast.
Her two older brothers watched with their own eyes as their father died at Hu Tu’s hands, yet they could only tearfully flee the dense forest. They rushed home like madmen and wrote this letter, intending to inform Ge Miao and expose Hu Tu’s actions to the public.
However, less than a day later, Hu Tu invited her two older brothers out under the guise of discussing business. To protect their family, the two brothers had placed the pre-written letter into the room of Ge Miao’s other two brothers, hoping they would see it upon their return. Just like that, Ge Miao’s two brothers left home, never to return.
When her other two brothers came back and saw the letter, they set out for the City Lord Mansion to seek revenge against Hu Tu, only to go missing halfway there. Following that, her two younger brothers and her mother, who had discovered everything, consecutively died at Hu Tu’s hands.
Reading everything in the letter, Ge Miao felt as if her heart was being sliced open. Overwhelmed with an agonizing grief, all she wanted was to avenge her family. Thus, one night, while she and Hu Tu were being intimate, she viciously plunged a knife into his heart.
Hu Tu’s blood splattered all over her. He looked at her in shock, asking her why. She roared for him to drop dead. After viciously stabbing him countless times, she watched with her own eyes as he breathed his last. In that moment, she felt that her family was finally avenged. She was finally free.
But after she cleaned everything up and prepared to leave the City Lord Mansion... she never expected an identical Hu Tu to walk right into the courtyard.
At that moment, Ge Miao couldn’t believe her eyes! Hu Tu had clearly died right in front of her. She had killed him with her own hands, so how could he appear before her eyes once again?
Terrified, she watched as Hu Tu pushed the door open and walked over to the bed as if nothing had happened. He merely said, "Madam, why are you still awake so late? For the sake of the child in your belly, you must rest early!"
Ge Miao’s face turned pale with fright on the spot! Yet, Hu Tu actually pulled her directly to the bed and lay down. The corpse of Hu Tu that had clearly been dead on the bed just moments ago was gone... Even the bloodstains had vanished!
Forcing down her fear, she lay beside Hu Tu. In the middle of the night, she stabbed him to death once more. This time, she even added countless extra stabs. Just as she confirmed she wasn’t dreaming and that Hu Tu was truly dead... she tried to leave the room again. But to her utter disbelief, yet another Hu Tu walked in from the courtyard!
That night, as if driven mad, she killed him a total of three times. But every single time, Hu Tu would walk right back in from the courtyard. It was as if she had fallen into an endless loop, trapped in her terror of him. Finally, when dawn broke, Ge Miao suffered a complete breakdown and rushed out of the room.
In the days that followed, she did not give up. Every night, she used different methods to strike at Hu Tu after he fell asleep. Yet every time, he would reappear before her. It was as if he could not be killed, leaving her in absolute despair!
Eventually, she gave up. She planned to escape the City Lord Mansion and shake him off completely. To her dismay, her repeated escape attempts were easily thwarted as he found and dragged her back every time.
Flying into a violent rage, Ge Miao confronted him face-to-face, demanding to know why he had murdered her family. She even pulled out the letters and threw them in his face, ready to fight him to the bitter end. But he weakly argued that he hadn’t done any of those things, acting as if the letters were completely fabricated. Blinded by fury, Ge Miao stabbed him again, but the result remained the same—she could not kill him.
He continued to treat her well as if nothing had happened, his affection even growing stronger day by day. And unfortunately, she bore him two more children, who also grew at an astonishing rate and were equally adorable! But just like before, her children from this third pregnancy still died.
Her heart died once more. She did not understand why her children simply could not survive.
Recalling the old man’s words, she began to secretly search for the true cause of her children’s deaths. That was until she discovered the six children, who had supposedly been buried long ago, hidden in a secret chamber beneath Hu Tu’s study. Their small, cold corpses lay lined up in a row.
At that moment, she realized he had actually hidden the children’s bodies! He had never buried them at all. This meant their deaths were undoubtedly tied to him.
From then on, she refused to share a bed with Hu Tu; she would never bear that beast’s children again! However, Hu Tu ended up forcing himself on her. Not only did he place her under house arrest... but he would also frequently enter and leave her room several times a night. At first, she merely thought something had come up and he had stepped out temporarily. But once, after she fell asleep, she groggily opened her eyes to see three Hu Tus standing by her bed simultaneously.
They were identical. Their builds, clothing, and appearances were indistinguishable. They took turns with her, and she felt as if she were being controlled, completely unable to resist.
That incident made her realize that Hu Tu might not be human at all—he was a monster. She was forced to bear two more pregnancies for him, each one a slow execution of her soul. As a mother, she was trapped in a vicious cycle, repeatedly forced to experience the agony of losing her children.
She did not understand why Hu Tu would treat her this way, why he would be so cruel to her children. That was until she saw a man in black in Hu Tu’s study and overheard their conversation. The man in black gave Hu Tu three stone-like seeds, calling them Destructive Flower Seeds, and it became clear the two had some sort of deal. The man in black stated that as long as Hu Tu could obtain the Vitality Power for him, he would grant Hu Tu eternal life once more. And the condition for Hu Tu to attain this eternal life was to successfully birth a Nine-tailed Rabbit.
Hearing this, Shen Yue was utterly shocked. A man in black? Destructive Flower Seeds? Vitality Power? Wasn’t that her own power?
Huang Ziyue and Bai Chaosi also sharply noticed that something was amiss. Weren’t those Destructive Flower Seeds the Devouring God Flowers? This meant the Devouring God Flower seeds Hu Tu was cultivating in the dense forest in the west of the city were given to him by that man in black!
Shen Yue immediately spoke up, "A man in black? Did you see what he looked like?"
Seeing Shen Yue’s strong reaction, Ge Miao thought for a moment. "He was entirely wrapped in a black robe, and his body was shrouded in black mist. I couldn’t see his face at all!"
As soon as these words were spoken, Shen Yue, Huang Ziyue, and Bai Chaosi were instantly shaken. They couldn’t be more familiar with the attire of this man in black; it was exactly the same as the Golden Cicada Clan assassins who had tried to kill the child and Shen Yue at the Wilderness Mountain!
Shen Yue immediately asked, "When did this man in black appear?"
Ge Miao recalled for a moment. "The first time I saw him was two years ago!"
Shen Yue’s expression relaxed. It seemed to be an incident from the past. Now that the man in black had already been killed by her, there was no need to worry for the time being.
Unexpectedly, Ge Miao added, "However, just the day before you came to the City Lord Mansion, I saw that man in black appear in Hu Tu’s study again!"
The expressions of Shen Yue, Huang Ziyue, and Bai Chaosi instantly froze.
The day before they arrived? How could that be possible?
