Chapter 850: Chapter 423: Xiahou Fuxing: My Mission Is Chef? (Part 2)

Take Demacia, for example.

Everyone else fell silent.

Now all the clues have been gathered, and they have even figured out the general structure of this game. Everything is not a secret within this small group of people.

Yet they couldn’t find that passage.

"The Worker Bee technology has broken through. Although it uses some levitation technology, it indeed can emerge on Blue Star with Xia’s effect. If it’s just a game, Demacia, this would be impossible."

The speaker was Unos, whose character in the game is an Elf. They are currently aboard a submarine, which was created and is operated by Unos.

During the player explorations, his belief in the existence of two worlds became increasingly firm and passionate.

After all, the problems he faced weren’t limited to just his legs.

"I understand, but with our Level 45 strength, trying to achieve this thing feels somewhat impossible. Does it really matter?"

Demacia grasped the shoulder of the Raven and tightened the bandage around its beak, causing the bird to be very displeased, pecking frantically at his face.

Blood began to drip, yet Demacia, with pain set to the lowest level, was completely unaffected. Once the Raven calmed down, he skillfully drank a potion, and the wounds on his face quickly disappeared.

The atmosphere in the submarine turned oppressive, as this issue was indeed somewhat unbelievable.

Everyone present was sure that both worlds were real.

But the sole issue is... On Blue Star, they are merely small-time streamers, and in this world, they are just players, with level restrictions.

Currently, in this version, no one but Guard Brigade can reach the realm of space.

Though typical Silver Upper Tier Alchemists and Mages have already qualified to study Space Magic and knowledge.

Players, however, cannot comprehend this knowledge. Even if understood, their Skills are merely simplified operations, unable to harness power to do anything.

Their bodies have too many limitations, making it difficult even to freely use Magic Power.

The only ones whose combat capabilities can be somewhat unlocked are the Warriors and Assassins.

Yet neither of those can use magic or create Alchemy Creations.

Guard Brigade pondered for a moment before speaking: "Now we have confirmed a few things—that is, Baiyi may have been an anomaly. He seized the fortune originally belonging to the wolf and developed himself as a boss."

"This was confirmed when we found those three sites."

"Whether it’s that wolf, the Star’s Magic Chain Python, or the Sun’s Flame Demon Lion, they all share a commonality."

Guard Brigade summarized: "In a short time, they morphed from ordinary animals to Golden Level bosses."

"Though this growth trajectory is hard to trace entirely, it somewhat mimics the player leveling up, relying on slaughter, much like us. Our interface has many restrictions, but the natives don’t have these limitations."

"The interface wants to extract something from this world, and those things are our entry points."

"Over the past half month, I’ve repeatedly watched our activities at the Undersea Celestial Abyss and reviewed what we discovered, formulating an idea..."

Guard Brigade spoke with some uncertainty in his tone.

"The interface wants something from this world, such as... rules."

"Though the Undersea Celestial Abyss lacks many rules, there are still some. We can start from there...."

Guard Brigade fell silent.

The atmosphere grew oppressive again.

Rules, they’ve only seen them in documents, and even those are scant since any Transcendent who can write them can do so.

Yet, to access rules, the Transcendent must be Powerful.

What Powerful Transcendents leave behind is hard for players to glimpse, and even if glimpsed, the material isn’t comprehensive.

In this regard, Guard Brigade’s identity is very useful.

Scholars have risen greatly in status, but they are still the original ones, having come from adversity.

Their arrogance hasn’t formed, and they’re eager to discuss with Guard Brigade.

The oppressive atmosphere now stems from the knowledge among them that touching rules is immensely difficult.

After a brief silence, Guard Brigade gathered his resolve and smiled, asking: "This might be a long-term mission. You have the right to choose, whether to withdraw or continue as you wish."

Silence, no one spoke.

The cost is too great without guaranteed rewards—something rational people should refuse.

Yet the matter carries a profound impact, especially after Blue Star’s tech saw the Gods.

The strongest weapon, the nuke, can’t even hurt Them a tiny bit.

Thus, mastering initiative is critically important; once mastered, Blue Star has room for choices.

Rather than destined enslavement.

In these times, the Three Great Federations have enough power left to pursue other world’s existence, with only Dawn remaining.

Once the strongest, Star, struggles since the Divine Level descended into the Abyss.

The Giant Statue before a True God is but a durable sack.

If not for the Sun Salutation and the taboo-breaking Noel holding on, Star Federation would collapse first.

Yet, if we talk about the smallest impact within federal territories, it belongs to Star Federation.

The six Gods have been fended off—a remarkable accomplishment.

The power below God, aided by Magic Prohibition and Legendary Mechanism along with newly promoted Legends, all held the federal borders.

However, that federation exerted all its strength, unable to manage anything beyond.

This accomplishment arose from two taboos uniting the Federation’s whole might.

Guard Brigade exchanged glances with Unos, both eyes hinted relaxation.

Though these elite players weren’t that resolute, their service was undeniably crucial.

In one-on-one confrontations, neither feared the other, but a guaranteed victory wasn’t on the table.

Insight, luck, or something else—elite players are truly evenly matched.

In their circles, except for the late-joined Xiahou Fuxing.

Everyone already top-level deities in other games, with substantial achievements in each.

To achieve such feats, any weak factor is unacceptable.

"If no one opts out, I’ll assign tasks now."

Guard Brigade took a deep breath, first looking at Demacia: "Explain things to Meira, then return to within Federation territory. I need you to brush Baiyi’s favor; Divine Showcase is crucial, aim for once usage rights."

Demacia nodded, not refusing.

This task suits Xiahou Fuxing too, but with its criticality, Xiahou Fuxing initially a food blogger may falter.

Guard Brigade then turned to Black Sister: "Seoli, head back to Sun Federation. Demacia may need Sun Federation’s help for this access. Currently, only Helie of Sun Federation has some capacity left."

Seoli nodded: "Of course, I’m eager to do so. It’s just a shame I prefer adventures, like now."

Guard Brigade reassured: "But you’re my sole invitee from Sun Federation, irreplaceable."

Seoli shrugged: "I know, hence I said, I’m eager, sir."

Guard Brigade glanced to the somewhat hesitant next: "Other Shore, Feng Chen, Reverse, head to Sea Race, complete tasks, boost Merfolk Race favor, ideally involving Sea Sirens. We might need support; things aren’t peaceful here."

The trio nodded, without a word, using a Teleportation Scroll, bodies vanished in white light.

Once the final two tasks were assigned, only Guard Brigade, Xiahou Fuxing, and Unos were left in the submarine.

Guard Brigade gazed at Xiahou Fuxing, considering his Heaven-defying luck, finally saying under Xiahou Fuxing’s expectant gaze: "Showcase your culinary skills, though it’s just us three, but shouldn’t we eat well before tackling big tasks?"

Xiahou Fuxing froze, incredulous: "I don’t have a task? Is my task being the chef?"
