Samsara Tower: Only I Know the Plot!
Chapter 508 - 506: Defeat Saitama?
"Tornado of Terror—also known as Tatsumaki—is a superpowered warrior.
Her psychic energy can manipulate anything, her telekinetic force exceeding ten thousand tons. She can crush her enemies with thought alone, or even summon meteors from the sky."
"According to every Samsara who’s cleared this floor, her strength easily qualifies as S-rank!"
"Tatsumaki was once rescued by the first-ranked hero, Blast, and became a hero herself because of him. That alone shows how powerful Blast must be!"
"So forget about the third mission—it’s basically impossible!
Unless, of course, you somehow find Blast’s location... and he’s willing to stand still while you beat him to death."
Fenric couldn’t help but smirk at that line.
Blast might be powerful, he thought, but in the world of "One Punch Man," he’s not the strongest.
That title belonged to someone else—the man with the shiny bald head.
Saitama.
The invincible Bald Devil.
Of course, most Samsaras had no idea who Saitama was. After all, he kept an absurdly low profile in his own world, and only someone who knew the original story—like Fenric—understood the terrifying truth.
He continued scrolling through the guide.
"Since the third task is basically unmanageable, let’s focus on the first and second tasks. These two are relatively easier and can help boost your overall evaluation."
"Task One: Participate in the Hero Assessment and become a registered hero!"
"This is considered the simplest of the three missions. With your current strength, passing the physical tests shouldn’t be a problem!"
"The assessment is divided into two parts: the Strength Test and the Written Exam."
"The strength test evaluates basic combat metrics—power, speed, agility, and reflexes. Nothing too complicated."
"But be careful with the written exam! It contributes a lot to your overall score, and many Samsaras overlook it. Most questions test your political loyalty to the Heroes Association—just answer honestly and seriously."
"After the assessment, your Hero Rank (C, B, A, or S) will greatly affect your mission evaluation."
"For example, if you’re only rated a C-rank hero, your task evaluation will stay low. But if you earn an S-rank title, your mission grade will skyrocket!"
"Even if your test results aren’t ideal, you can raise your rank by hunting powerful monsters and saving citizens—the Association will re-evaluate you later."
...
"Now, Task Two: Kill a Kaijin (Monster)!"
"This mission is riskier. Kaijins are extremely hostile to humans and usually attack on sight. They’re far stronger than ordinary people, so exercise caution."
"Although you only need to kill one to complete the quest, if you want a higher evaluation, aim for stronger targets—or kill several."
"The system will base your performance score on the strongest Kaijin you defeat."
"Remember: complete Task One before tackling Task Two. The Heroes Association will re-evaluate your hero rank based on the monsters you defeat."
"That’s all for the official tips. Be warned—this world is extremely dangerous. Dragon-level and God-level monsters can annihilate entire cities. Always do what you can, not what you can’t."
"Task evaluation is important, but your life is more important."
"..."
When Fenric finished reading, he leaned back, his brows furrowed.
None of the three tasks were easy. And for him, easy wasn’t enough.
He wanted another Super God (SSS) evaluation.
To do that, every goal had to be pushed to perfection.
Task One — The Hero Assessment.
He needed to score S-rank, ideally first place in the entire Heroes Association.
But that meant surpassing Blast—someone even the system treated as a top-level entity. Even knowing the story, Fenric had no concrete data on him. Blast’s existence was shrouded in mystery.
Task Two — Killing a Kaijin.
This was simpler. Fenric already knew which monsters were the strongest and where they would appear. With careful planning, he could secure a high score.
Task Three — Defeat the strongest by force.
Fenric sighed heavily, rubbing his temples.
"So basically, I have to beat Saitama in a straight fight..."
He could already feel a headache forming.
Even before entering that world, he knew what kind of absurd power Saitama possessed.
A man who could jump from the moon back to Earth, survive without oxygen, and obliterate enemies who could split planets—with one punch.
No matter how confident Fenric was, there was a line between bold and suicidal.
"How do you defeat someone who always wins with one punch...?"
He glanced at the clock—2:23 a.m.
"The third task... what the hell am I supposed to do?"
He thought about the rules again.
The system specifically required that the "strongest" be defeated by force.
It couldn’t be trickery, poison, diplomacy, or assistance—it had to be a fair fight.
That made it essentially impossible.
Unless...
"Wait," Fenric muttered, his eyes flashing. "What if I can’t overpower Saitama... but I can weaken him?"
His thoughts raced. Saitama’s limitless strength came from breaking his limiter—a mental and physical threshold. But what if there was a way to temporarily suppress that? A law-based ability? A restriction seal?
Fenric’s mind snapped into focus.
"Weakness... yes. If I can reduce his strength, maybe the Law of Power will finally mean something."
His eyes lit up with excitement. Without another word, he moved.
...
BOOM!
A thunderous sonic boom tore through the night sky above the military base as Fenric shot into the air like a missile, vanishing into the clouds. He flew toward a certain direction—one that only he understood.
At 2:45 a.m., he returned to the Samsara Space.
He was just in time. The Samsara Tower would soon close its entry gate for this time period. If he wanted to enter, he had five minutes left—or else he’d have to wait another cycle.
Fenric wasted no time.
He pulled out the Dungeon Cooldown Refresh Card, activated it, and stepped into the glowing gate of the Samsara Tower.
