Samsara Tower: Only I Know the Plot!

Chapter 449 - 448: When Enemies Meet Someone Is Embarrassed

Half an hour later.

Fenric descended with Yuhan into a restricted zone near K City.

The area belonged to the military, heavily guarded by armed soldiers.

The moment Fenric landed, a captain hurried over and saluted.

"Hello, are you Mr. Shura?"

"I am," Fenric replied with a slight nod.

The captain’s expression instantly shifted into deep respect.

This was the county’s number one master—someone who had already conquered the sixteenth floor of the Samsara Tower. His future was limitless.

"Mr. Shura, Commander Song is waiting for you. Please follow me."

Fenric was led into a spacious conference room.

Inside, Vivienne Song was in the middle of a discussion with several extraordinary figures. The instant she saw Fenric, her eyes lit up.

"Fenric, over here."

He entered, calm and steady.

Vivienne gestured for attention. "Everyone, let me introduce—this is Shura."

The reaction was immediate.

Most of the attendees stared in surprise.

This... is Shura?

Given his feats in Samsara, they had expected a seasoned veteran—mature, calculating, perhaps in his thirties. After all, thirty was often considered a man’s prime.

But Fenric looked barely more than a youth.

Still, while his face was young, his aura left no one daring to underestimate him.

On the contrary, many rushed to greet him with flattery.

"Mr. Shura, truly young and promising!"

"At your age, I was still wasting my life."

"I’ve long heard you’re the first genius of Samsara. Today proves the rumors true!"

They all knew it—Fenric’s rise was only beginning. In time, the number one throne in the world would surely belong to him.

Showing goodwill cost nothing.

Fenric inclined his head politely. "You flatter me, seniors."

Vivienne smiled, then began introductions.

"This is Zen Zendaruth, ranked 38th on the global master list."

Fenric shook hands with the neatly dressed middle-aged man, though he raised an eyebrow at the name. He had expected a monk.

Noticing his reaction, Zen chuckled. "I lean toward Buddhist philosophy, so I chose the name."

"I see," Fenric said with a faint smile.

Vivienne gestured to a towering woman built like a fortress. "This is Dimitrescu, ranked 22nd."

Dimitrescu’s physique was so burly she resembled a King Kong Barbie.

"Shura, I’ve admired your name for a long time," she said, gripping his hand firmly.

"Hello," Fenric replied.

Vivienne moved on. "This is Stern River, ranked 97th."

The quiet Samsara gave only a curt nod. "Hello."

"Hello," Fenric echoed, noting the man’s reserved nature.

There weren’t many gathered here—only eight in total, including Vivienne and Fenric—all of them listed among the world’s masters.

Anything less, and joining the mission against Adam would be nothing short of suicide.

Finally, Vivienne gestured toward a middle-aged man with sharp, predatory eyes.

"And this... is One Leaf Knows Autumn."

The room grew lively at once, eyes turning toward Fenric in anticipation.

Fenric studied the man, a glimmer of amusement in his eyes.

"One Leaf Knows Autumn? Not bad... not bad at all."

The man’s expression stiffened. "What do you mean by that, Shura?"

"Nothing," Fenric said lightly. "You just strike me as... memorable."

The man’s face darkened. "What? You want revenge? Is that it? Over something so trivial?"

Several around the table struggled not to laugh.

Everyone knew the story. Back then, One Leaf Knows Autumn had abused his position to target Shura, even placing a bounty on him.

When Shura began his meteoric rise, the man had quickly withdrawn the bounty, hoping to save face.

But who could forget such a slight? In Samsara, danger lurked in every corner. Being hunted during a dungeon could easily mean death.

If not for Fenric’s monstrous strength, anyone else in his shoes would have been long dead.

And now this man dared to act aggrieved?

It was laughable.

Fenric, however, did not bite. He merely turned to Vivienne.

"So, Commander Song, do you have a plan for Adam?"

He gave her face. He wouldn’t stir up trouble here—not when they had bigger prey to hunt.

Vivienne exhaled in relief and gave him an approving glance.

Not arrogant, not reckless. He knows the bigger picture. Truly worthy of the name Shura.

"Time is short," Vivienne said firmly. "Let’s discuss the plan as we move."

Everyone nodded. Adam was already in the Thousand Lanterns Island Nation and could kill Uvall at any moment. Delay was not an option.

"Use my fighter," Dimitrescu suddenly offered. "I pulled it from a dungeon. It can fly ten times the speed of sound. We’ll reach the island in fifteen minutes."

Vivienne’s eyes lit up. "Then we’ll rely on you."

"Follow me," Dimitrescu said.

She led them outside to an open clearing and summoned a sleek, pigeon-shaped fighter from her personal warehouse.

The craft wasn’t large—only six seats inside. They would have to squeeze.
