Chapter 327: Chapter 165: The Reality Stone and the Mind Stone! (Part 1)

Pale blue spatial ripples silently bloomed within the stone chamber of Kamar-Taj’s forbidden library, and Alex stepped out from within.

The biting cold of Xandar still lingered around his body, and the violent energy of the Power Stone faintly pulsed in his palm, but he completely concealed it all the moment he landed.

Replacing the chill was the scent of ink from ancient parchment in the stone chamber, along with the faintly glowing magical energy flowing in the air. That energy slowly traveled along the runes on the stone walls, reflecting tiny flecks of light in the dim room.

"How did it go? How many stones did you get?"

Wong stood up from behind the stone table piled with ancient tomes. His stocky body leaned forward, his face full of irrepressible curiosity.

Evidently, while Alex was away, he and Strange had been constantly poring over materials.

Strange, standing to the side, wore a gloomy expression. He leaned against the bookshelf, his narrow face looking even more exhausted under the flickering light of the runes. His eye sockets were deeply sunken, and the dark circles under his eyes were clearly visible. Yet, in those sharp eyes, apart from his usual vigilance, there was a trace of unconcealable anxiety.

He subconsciously rubbed the Eye of Agamotto on his chest, his gaze holding a hint of probing.

Alex didn’t bother with superfluous pleasantries. He raised his hand and opened his palm.

Three Infinity Stones surfaced one by one in his hand. The orange-red halo of the Soul Stone was profound and soul-captivating, like a dancing candle flame.

The Space Stone’s deep blue light flowed erratically, as if it could reflect the very veins of the universe.

The Power Stone’s purple energy was the most violent, exuding a heart-palpitating oppressive might.

The energy of the three stones resonated in his palm. Even the ancient runes carved onto the stone walls trembled slightly, emitting a faint hum.

Wong and Strange exchanged a glance, their eyes filled with shock.

They had already made an incredibly high estimation of Alex’s strength, but they never expected him to be so relaxed. Taking the Soul Stone from the Celestials, obtaining the Space Stone from Thor, and snatching the Power Stone right under the Nova Corps’ noses—each of these was a major event capable of stirring the entire universe, yet he had done it as easily as reaching into his pocket.

At this moment, a thought arose in both their minds simultaneously: they had definitely found the right Protector this time. As long as Alex didn’t die, the legacy of Kamar-Taj would not be severed.

Alex’s gaze fell upon the Eye of Agamotto on Strange’s chest. An emerald-green light seeped through the crevices of the pendant; it was the aura of the Time Stone.

"Do you have the whereabouts of the other stones?"

"The Time Stone is here; you can take it anytime."

Strange’s voice was hoarse. He raised his hand and pressed against the pendant on his chest, causing the emerald light to flicker.

"But the other two... the situation is not optimistic."

Wong took over the conversation, speaking rapidly, evidently indicating the urgency of the situation.

"The one responsible for safekeeping the Reality Stone is Dr. Banner, the Hulk. We utilized all of Kamar-Taj’s intelligence networks, and even used time magic to trace back to his last known location. But after he took the stone, it’s as if he completely evaporated! He left absolutely no traceable clues."

Wong paused.

"There are no fluctuations from spatial warps, nor any traces of energy dissipation. We speculate that he either used the power of the Reality Stone to conduct an experiment far beyond conventional understanding and vanished from the face of the earth, or... he fell into some unknown secret realm."

He paused again, his tone heavy.

"In short, the location of the Reality Stone is now a complete mystery."

Alex’s eyes turned slightly cold. The absence of the Reality Stone disrupted his plans.

On the path to gathering all six stones, an unpredictable obstacle had suddenly appeared.

He originally thought he could just gather them step by step, but now it seemed things weren’t that simple.

"But there’s a clue for the Mind Stone!"
