Chapter 325: Chapter 164: I’m Not Negotiating With You! The Power Stone is Obtained! (Part 1)

Spatial ripples dissipated in the center of Andromeda as Alex’s figure appeared above Xandar.

This location is a full 2.5 million light-years from the Milky Way. If he had relied solely on a Saint’s flight capabilities, even at maximum speed, the journey would have taken 2.5 million years. Fortunately, the teleportation power of the Space Stone compressed that unreachable distance into a single step.

Looking down, Xandar was no longer a complete planet, but a massive expanse of shattered wreckage. Fragments of the grayish-white crust floated in space, enveloped by a transparent energy shield. In the center of the debris, a spherical fortress radiated the pale blue glow of advanced technology—the reconstructed home of the Nova Corps.

A few years ago, Thanos’s invasion had nearly obliterated this planet. Their ability to regain a foothold today was entirely dependent on their newly acquired core artifact: the Power Stone.

Alex could clearly sense the violent energy fluctuations emanating from the depths of the spherical fortress; it was the unique aura of the Power Stone.

He descended slowly. The moment his toes touched the metal platform at the top of the fortress, alarms instantly blared across the entire planet.

"Who are you! Show your transit permit!"

Dozens of Nova Corps soldiers clad in blue combat suits swarmed from all directions. Their energy weapons were aimed at Alex, and the Nova icons on their armor flashed with a vigilant red light. Their movements were perfectly synchronized, and their gazes were sharp—evidently elite veterans who had been tempered by the fires of war.

Alex stood his ground, his gaze sweeping over the surrounding soldiers. His voice was flat, yet it carried an unquestionable penetrating power.

"I wish to see Queen Adora."

The soldiers did not act immediately. Anyone capable of reaching the core area of Xandar directly from the vacuum of space with their physical body alone could not possibly be an ordinary person. The silver-gray armor this man wore, while not of a traditional Asgardian style, possessed the metallic luster unique to the armaments of the divine domain, causing them to instinctively associate him with the fallen yet still formidable Asgardian race.

After a brief standoff, a beam of golden light shot out from the main tower of the spherical fortress, landing in front of Alex. As the light dissipated, a blonde woman appeared. She wore blue and gold robes embroidered with the highest insignia of the Nova Corps, and she was enveloped in a soft yet potent energy. Her eyes were as sharp as a hawk’s as she scrutinized this abrupt stranger, her bearing radiating the majesty of a leader.

"Mighty one of Asgard," Queen Adora’s voice was steady, showing no sign of negligence. "To what do I owe the honor of this visit?"

Alex offered no superfluous pleasantries. Faint arcs of electricity flickered across his Thunder God armor, and his crimson cape billowed automatically in the air currents atop the fortress, its edges entwined with pure golden lightning. Beneath the silver-gray horned helmet that covered the upper half of his face, those indifferent black eyes looked directly at Adora. An invisible oppressive might caused the solemn air around them to stagnate.

"I need to borrow the Power Stone," he stated his demand in the simplest terms. "It will be returned once I am finished."

A brief silence fell over the plaza. Queen Adora’s brows furrowed slightly, her voice echoing across the metal platform with the decisiveness of Xandar’s supreme leader.

"The Power Stone is the energy core of New Xandar and the protective pillar of this entire planet. Its power is enough to distort reality and destroy galaxies. The Nova Corps bears the responsibility of guarding it; it can never be lightly handed over to anyone."

She took a step forward, attempting to communicate. "If you have a necessary reason for borrowing it, feel free to speak. I can submit your request to the High Council and provide an answer as soon as possible..."

"Enough."

Two cold words interrupted Queen Adora. Alex’s voice wasn’t loud, yet it pierced the air like an ice pick, carrying a chill that struck the soul.

He didn’t have time to wait for any High Council. The final Holy War of the Saint Seiya world was imminent, and Athena’s True Spirit brand was continuously battering Ade’s seal deep within his soul. His deal with Arishem had likely been detected by the Sentry; every second of delay meant another potential variable.

Though the civilization of Xandar was powerful, they had no multiverse-level powerhouses guarding them. In front of a supreme expert like himself, they simply weren’t enough. The rules of the Queen before him were as fragile as a spiderweb in the face of the urgency concerning his own survival.

"I am notifying you, not negotiating with you!"
