Chapter 141: Chapter 71: Teacher vs. student; Give Me a Moment, Teacher! (Part 1)
The wind of the sacred mountain swept past the Twelve Temples, carrying a biting chill. Hyoga was sprinting toward the Aquarius Temple, his boots crunching over the loose rubble.
His short blonde hair was soaked with sweat, and his Cygnus Bronze Cloth was still stained with the blood remaining from the battle in the Scorpio Temple. Every breath he took was a sharp, ragged gasp. Hyoga knew that Miss Saori’s life was slipping away; his comrades were already engaged in a fierce battle at the Capricorn Temple, and he could not afford to fall behind.
Meanwhile, inside the Capricorn Temple, Seiya, Shiryu, Shun, and Ikki stood at the entrance, gazing at the tall, upright figure in the center.
The Gold Saint, Shura, stood silently in the hall. His dark green hair stood straight up like flickering flames, and his Capricorn Gold Cloth glinted with a cold metallic luster under the dim green glow of the palace lamps. The *Excalibur* in his palm exuded a razor-sharp aura that sent chills down one’s spine.
Shura’s gaze swept across the faces of the four youths one by one, his brow gradually furrowing. His expression held more than a hint of frustration. The Gold Saints of the previous temples had all had the chance to personally "educate" Alex’s beloved student, Hyoga—yet now that it was his turn, that kid was nowhere to be found!
"Damn it... where the hell is that kid Hyoga?" he grumbled inwardly. He waited for a moment longer, but when no one appeared, he finally waved his hand with waning interest, his gaze locking onto Shiryu, who had his eyes closed.
"You there, the kid who keeps his eyes shut—You stay. The rest of you, head to the Aquarius Temple."
Shun immediately stepped forward, wanting to explain that Shiryu’s eyes were closed because he was blind, not out of disrespect, but Shiryu reached out and stopped him. Although Shiryu could not see, he kept his back straight, a green Cosmo circulating around his body.
"Go! Leave this to me! There isn’t much time left, and we shouldn’t waste it on explanations!"
His voice was firm, though his body trembled slightly. The Gold Saint before him felt like an unsheathed divine blade; even before the fight had begun, Shiryu could feel his skin stinging. But he knew Saori Kido’s life was at its limit. He had to ensure his friends reached the summit as soon as possible.
"I’m counting on you all! I might... stop here. Please, take care of Miss Saori!"
Seiya and the others exchanged a glance. Though filled with worry, they knew they couldn’t hesitate. They turned and sprinted toward the Aquarius Temple.
Before they could even step inside, a bone-chilling cold surged out like a tidal wave. A layer of white frost instantly condensed on their Bronze Cloths, and their very breath turned into thick white mist.
"This chill..." Seiya clenched his fists, his eyes wide with shock. "Has Lord Alex returned to guard his temple? What do we do? We’re out of time!"
Ikki gritted his teeth, his Phoenix Cloth emitting a faint red glow. "My Cloth possesses the power of fire. If it really is that man standing guard, I’ll have to be the one to test him!"
Just as he was about to step into the temple, Hyoga’s urgent shout came from behind them.
"Ikki, wait! This temple... is a trial my teacher left for me!"
Hyoga caught up to his companions, panting heavily. He clenched his fists and stared at the Aquarius Temple, which was continuously seeping cold air. Just a moment ago, Alex’s voice had suddenly resonated within his mind:
"Hyoga, do you wish to comprehend Absolute Zero? Come to the Aquarius Temple. I am waiting for you there!"
Hyoga calmed his racing heart and slowly stepped into the palace. This was the first time he had ever entered the temple guarded by his teacher. He looked around curiously: the dome was inscribed with a brilliant star map of the Aquarius constellation, with faint ice mists swirling between the stars. The surrounding walls were covered in carvings of the Aquarius ultimate techniques, from basic ice spikes to high-level frost manipulation—the crystallized efforts of generations of Aquarius Saints.
