Chapter 104: Chapter 52: Divine Avatar, Unlocking the Extraordinary! (Part 2)

The statue, worshipped by humanity day and night, had accumulated quite a bit of Divinity!

’It seemed that managing a Reincarnation World was also a viable method of acquiring Divinity.’

Although it wasn’t as convenient and swift as killing Evil Gods or fallen Reincarnators, it won in terms of absolute stability. If he had a few more Reincarnation Worlds like this one, the Divinity required to become a true god would no longer be an obstacle!

At this moment, on his attribute panel, Alex’s Divinity had reached exactly 30.2 points!

As his Divinity broke through the 30-point threshold, the world before Alex’s eyes mutated once again, breaking down into countless lines.

The humans kneeling and cheering before him transformed into individual humanoid points of light. Countless fine, golden threads connected these people directly to the statue.

Their life trajectories, emotional fluctuations, and even their deepest hidden memories could be easily read and accessed by Alex.

A trace of enlightenment suddenly dawned in Alex’s heart. In the I Am Legend world, he could already be considered half a god.

Given time, he might even be able to ignite his Divine Fire and become a true god in this world.

Alex’s voice, carrying a divine majesty and icy coldness, resonated directly in Robert’s mind.

"Robert, tell me. What has happened over these years?"

Robert’s aged face trembled violently. He jerked his head up, his cloudy eyes brimming with tears.

In a voice that was almost weeping, carrying boundless ecstasy and devotion, he announced loudly toward the statue and to all of humanity:

"It is the God of Creation! He is speaking to me! He asks me what has happened over these years!"

A massive commotion broke out in the crowd. Many wept tears of joy, and some were so overwhelmed with emotion they nearly fainted.

Robert kissed the earth, old tears streaming down his face. After calming down slightly, he began to intermittently recount what had truly happened to this world after Alex’s departure.

A full fifty years had passed since Alex had slain the God King Arthur.

Although God King Arthur had died, his cells had turned into a virus that spread across the entire land. Almost all the living creatures in this Reincarnation World, aside from humans, had undergone severe mutations.

The Darkseekers who had luckily survived back then multiplied and thrived underground, rebuilding their tribe’s strength before staging a massive comeback three years ago.

This time, they possessed even greater power. Their tribe’s High Priest could summon the power of natural elements. The tribe’s warriors could conceal their figures under the cover of night, killing without leaving a single trace.

There were also countless powerful Corpse Beasts driven by their command. The Darkseekers had achieved remarkable success on the path of biotechnology.

Conversely, although humanity had also made some technological advancements, they were ultimately no match for this extraordinary Corpse Clan. After several brutal engagements, they began to suffer defeat after defeat.

In their absolute moment of peril, humanity remembered the God of Thunder and Frost who had once saved them.

They gathered in the dilapidated temple, praying for the god to intervene and help.

Having understood the cause and effect, Alex couldn’t help but sneer inwardly.

Looking at the ruined state of this statue, if the Corpse Clan hadn’t made a comeback, perhaps these people would never have remembered him or prayed to him ever again.

It seemed humanity would only remember the existence of gods and seek that elusive protection when faced with imminent death crises.

Knowing the reasons, Alex now understood the crux of the problem. Relying purely on the power of technology, humanity could no longer contend with the Darkseekers who had stepped into the realm of the extraordinary.

There were currently two ways to solve this problem. The first was for him to descend upon the I Am Legend world once more and wipe out everything with his own absolute power.

But this method had a glaring drawback. Unless he completely froze the entire planet in ice for decades, it would be extremely difficult to thoroughly eradicate the Darkseekers who hid deeply underground like moles.

If he really went to such lengths, humanity would likely struggle to survive the aftermath as well.

The second method was to help the humans of this world master extraordinary powers sufficient to fight the Darkseekers themselves.

Moreover, as the two sides warred against each other, he, as their god, would naturally be able to harvest the massive amounts of Divinity generated by humanity’s constant prayers to him.

Thinking of this, Alex already had his answer.

Although the power system of the Saints could not be taught to these humans, he still had the Reincarnation Space—his very own portable Doraemon.

Within the Reincarnation Space, there was a dazzling array of various training methods, bloodlines, and legacies. Alex only needed to casually exchange for a few, and dealing with the puny Darkseeker tribe would be an absolute breeze.
