This wasn’t the first time. Since Yun Zijin’s cravings could change daily, the kitchen always prepared a few extra dishes unless she made a specific request.

The consequence, however, was that Yun Zijin could never finish all the food.

This was where the benefits of having a large household staff became apparent.

The expense was nothing to Yun Zijin, but the servants who got to eat the leftovers were happy all day.

After all, there’s a huge difference between rice that costs two yuan a pound and rice that costs a hundred yuan a pound.

"Of course, Miss."

However, Wang Minli didn’t clear the dishes right away. She waited until both Yun Zijin and Lu Yunque were finished eating before notifying the other staff in their group chat.

By this time, some of the staff had already gone to bed, but those on duty were still awake, and responses quickly came in on the group chat.

In any case, whatever Yun Zijin and Lu Yunque didn’t eat would definitely not go to waste.

[A new week has begun. Please complete this week’s spending mission: ¥24,000,000. Mission Reward: To be unlocked.]

The system’s spending mission announcement arrived right on schedule Monday morning. Yun Zijin, who was in the middle of breakfast, paused for a moment before continuing to eat, her expression unchanged.

"Lu Yunque, I was thinking of visiting your big brother after my classes today. Will you come pick me up?"

Now that Yun Zijin knew the Acupuncture Skill, she thought of Lu Yunzhou’s leg and wanted to see if she could help.

Even if the Acupuncture Skill didn’t work, she still had the Nourishing Body Pills. Maybe they could increase the chances of Lu Yunzhou being able to stand again.

Yun Zijin had an 8 AM class that day. It would end at 10 AM, so she could get there before noon.

Lu Yunque, of course, had no objections. The fact that Yun Zijin cared about his family proved she valued him, and he couldn’t be happier.

"Of course. But I have a meeting at 11 AM. Let’s go together after it’s finished."

’I can take the meeting on the way there, but I can’t cancel it.’

"If you’re busy, I’ll meet up with you this afternoon. I’ll go find Tongtong first to discuss opening the new branch."

They had only scouted out the location for the new branch before, but they hadn’t discussed any of the next steps.

"Alright. I can pick you up after my meeting. You’d feel awkward going into the rehab center by yourself, wouldn’t you?"

Lu Yunque knew her personality well.

Yun Zijin chuckled. "Just message me when your meeting is over. I might not be at the shop."

After all, since they were opening a new branch, their main focus would be the new location.

The space had been cleared out now, so they could get a renovation team to take measurements and draw up some designs.

Lu Yunque nodded in understanding.

After breakfast, they each got into their own cars—one heading to the office, the other to the university.

Lu Yunque had offered to drive Yun Zijin, but she’d refused several times.

’It’s not like I don’t have a car and a driver,’ she thought. ’Lu Yunque is way busier than I am; there’s no need for him to drive me.’

On the way to the university, Yun Zijin idly opened her phone and scrolled through her social media feed, where she happened to see a video posted by Li Yuexing.

To show off how special his Ice Tree and Fire Tree were, he had even used a thermometer to measure the ambient temperature around them.

There were plenty of likes and comments below. Some people expressed their amazement, others left exaggerated praise, but most were asking where he’d bought the trees.

Yun Zijin was seriously tempted to send Li Yuexing a picture of the Ice Tree and Fire Tree in her own yard at Xingyu Mansion.

But considering he had spent eighty-five million on that pair of trees, she decided not to rub it in his face for now.

When Yun Zijin’s car reached the university gate, it was waved right through. Ling Er drove her directly to the academic building for her first class.

When she got to the classroom, Qin Sitong was already there. She had saved a seat for her and even grabbed the textbook for that day’s lecture.

However, the smile vanished from Yun Zijin’s face when she saw the two people sitting behind Qin Sitong: Ren Hui and Li Cui.

’Can’t seem to get away from them,’ she thought.

Yun Zijin didn’t spare them a single glance. She just greeted Qin Sitong and sat down beside her.

"Here’s your book."

Qin Sitong handed the book to her.

"Hey," Yun Zijin said with a grin, "I brought you some breakfast my chef made this morning. It’s in a thermal container, so it should still be warm. There’s also some freshly made soy milk in this thermos."

Yun Zijin handed the thermal container and thermos to Qin Sitong.

Friendship was a two-way street. If Yun Zijin needed Qin Sitong to save her a seat and bring her textbook, she would bring Qin Sitong a gourmet breakfast prepared by a private chef.

While the food in the Dijing University cafeteria was pretty good, it couldn’t compare to the skill of Yun Zijin’s personal chef.

Strictly speaking, cafeteria food was cooked in bulk, a world of difference from a meal prepared by a private chef specifically for one person.

Qin Sitong’s eyes lit up the moment she heard Yun Zijin’s words.

"Zijin~ You’re the best!"

Qin Sitong had tasted breakfast from Yun Zijin’s chef before, and the flavor was truly unforgettable.

If she weren’t worried about looking like a freeloader by eating at Yun Zijin’s place every day, Qin Sitong would have loved to go over all the time.

Unfortunately, they didn’t have 8 AM classes every day, or else she could be enjoying these gourmet breakfasts all the time.

With a little time still to spare before class, Qin Sitong eagerly opened the thermal container and the thermos.

An incredible aroma instantly wafted out, causing students sitting all around them to turn and look.

"Whoa! Miss Yun brought Qin Sitong food again. I’m so jealous!"

"Man, why couldn’t we have been in the same dorm as the heiress? Forget saving her a seat and bringing her books, I’d even attend her classes for her!

Lecture notes, audio recordings of the professor... I’d get it all done for her, no problem."

"Before our junior year, the heiress was so low-key, she worked a part-time job every day. Her real identity was only exposed after the semester started this year.

Are you sure you could’ve stuck by her through the tough times for three years like Qin Sitong did?"

All sorts of things were being whispered around them. Yun Zijin and Qin Sitong heard some of it but pretended they hadn’t.

But only Yun Zijin’s expression flickered slightly when she heard them mention her working part-time for the first three years.

’Before junior year, it wasn’t that I was being low-key,’ she mused. ’I was just genuinely broke.’

She recalled the moment she first bonded with the Randomly Spend system and thought her old self was actually a little ridiculous.

’Everything I have today is because of Randomly Spend.’

Even though she still had no idea why she’d suddenly bonded with the Randomly Spend system, it didn’t change the fact that it had truly pampered her into a genuine, bona fide rich girl.

Seeing everyone around her staring so eagerly, Qin Sitong felt it wouldn’t be right to eat all by herself.

Yun Zijin had probably anticipated this, so she had packed a large portion. Even after sharing some, there would still be more than enough for Qin Sitong.

So, Qin Sitong offered some soup dumplings to a few of the students sitting near her.

Of course, Ren Hui and Li Cui, who were sitting behind them, were not offered any.
