Chapter 348: The Excellent Secretary Yang

After hanging up, Lu Yunque lowered his head to look at Yun Zijin again.

But Yun Zijin didn’t give Lu Yunque a chance to continue, pushing him away.

"Your secretary will be here soon. It’s not appropriate for me to see anyone dressed like this. Can you bring my clothes in for me?"

Although she was completely covered up, it was still improper to greet someone in a bathrobe.

Lu Yunque glanced at what Yun Zijin was wearing and agreed that it was indeed inappropriate.

"Alright, wait here. I’ll go out and get them for you."

Lu Yunque left the room and heard a knock on the door. He looked through the peephole and confirmed it was the secretary he had sent to buy clothes for Yun Zijin before opening the door.

Secretary Yang stood outside, offering a standard professional smile as she handed the shopping bags to Lu Yunque. "President, the clothes you requested are all here. Since this is the first time, the sizing might be a little off. Have Miss Yun try them on first. If anything doesn’t fit, I’ve advised the store to send another set over."

Lu Yunque took the shopping bags from Secretary Yang. "Alright, come in and wait. I’ll have her try them on to see if they fit."

With that, Lu Yunque carried the shopping bags toward his room.

The bedroom door was closed. Lu Yunque raised a hand and knocked. "Zijin, the clothes are here."

The moment Lu Yunque finished speaking, Yun Zijin opened the door from inside. Her eyes lit up when she saw the shopping bags in his hands.

"Try them on first. If they don’t fit, we’ll have someone send over another set."

Although Lu Yunque had told Secretary Yang Yun Zijin’s size, sizing can vary between brands. Secretary Yang couldn’t guarantee that the clothes she bought based on the measurements would be a perfect fit for Yun Zijin.

"I know!"

Yun Zijin took the shopping bags from Lu Yunque but didn’t let him into the room, slamming the door shut with a BANG!

Lu Yunque hadn’t expected that. If he hadn’t leaned back quickly, the door would have hit him in the nose.

Inside the room, Yun Zijin hurried into the bathroom with the shopping bags. Taking out the clothes, she discovered they even included undergarments.

She had to admit, Secretary Yang was truly capable to have become the secretary to the president of the Lu Group. It was one thing for the outerwear to fit, but for the undergarments to also be a perfect fit was truly admirable.

After changing, Yun Zijin put her own clothes, along with Lu Yunque’s shirt and the bathrobe she had worn, into the shopping bag from Secretary Yang.

’I’ll wash them when I get back and then return them to Lu Yunque.’

Once she was changed and had packed everything up, Yun Zijin opened the door and came out, only to see Lu Yunque waiting right outside.

"All changed? Does anything not fit?"

Lu Yunque took hold of Yun Zijin and manually turned her around in a circle.

"Everything fits well. That Secretary Yang is a great shopper."

The most important thing wasn’t how beautiful the clothes were, but the fact that she had only appeared at the Lu Group a few times, yet Secretary Yang could so accurately buy clothes that fit her perfectly. Yun Zijin was quite impressed by that.

"As long as they fit. I’ll give her a bonus when I get back."

Since Secretary Yang had bought clothes that satisfied Yun Zijin, Lu Yunque certainly wouldn’t be stingy. Even if he couldn’t expense it through the company, he wasn’t short of that kind of money in his personal account.

As long as he properly noted the purpose of the expense, no one could raise any objections even if they looked into it later.

When the two of them came out, Secretary Yang stood up. "Miss Yun, it seems I chose the right size."

Seeing the clothes Yun Zijin was wearing, Secretary Yang knew she had made the right choice.

"Yes, they fit perfectly. Thank you for the trouble, making you go buy clothes for me so early in the morning."

Yun Zijin felt a little embarrassed saying this.

"It’s no trouble at all; it’s part of my job. Since they fit you well, I won’t disturb you two any longer."

Being very perceptive, Secretary Yang didn’t linger and offered to leave.

"My clothes from yesterday are in here, along with your shirt and the bathrobe. I can’t just leave my worn clothes here, can I?"

"Let’s go back to Xingyu Mansion. But if you take me there, will you be late for work at the Lu Group?"
