Rewound
Chapter 100-102
Walking up to the mansion, no one stopped me. The people who were supposed to be guarding it were currently in the city, trying to find spies or other people who wanted to kill Negan, so Negan was most likely the only person in his gigantic monstrosity of a castle right now. He made no effort to make the building structurally safe.
Jagged pieces of metal were all piled together, forming a wall of sharp edges. I walked through the building and noticed that one out of every four or five hallways had collapsed as the structural integrity of the building failed. It turned the entire building into a maze, and the scary part was that if Negan knew I was here, he could have used his powers to drop the roof in on me. It wouldn’t kill me, but it would have been a hassle for sure.
The amount of backtracking as I made my way from room to room, some rooms in such terrible shape they served no purpose except to expand the size of the castle, like the size of his home, made him feel the same way people chose to drive massive trucks. Compensating for something, which I knew for sure he was. A drop of power to someone with a micropenis, and he goes absolutely insane.
Some of the rooms were filled to the brim with the undead; some were locked or blocked off, making them impossible to enter, and many were filled with corpses or torture scenes. The man was insane before, but it was clear that fear and the constant threat to his life drove him even further into that delusion. It took an hour of searching to finally find him.
He was waiting for me. The room he was in was tied into the only power source, and half the wall was covered with video feeds while the other half was dead TVs or static. “Oh, I’m sorry about the house. I haven’t had any good help lately. My electronics guy cared more for his family than his life, so… You know how it is, so the reception hasn’t been great recently, or I’d have come and greeted you.”
I made a raspberry noise as I couldn’t help but chuckle. “Stop trying to act so calm. I know you’re shitting yourself in fear. I assume you know who I am? That I’m here to kill you and take over your territory?” I saw that same gleam of insanity he sometimes had before, but it was heavily covered with the look of exhaustion. He was tired, covered in sweat, his eyes had deep bags under them, and even from here, I could smell his shit.
He didn’t leave this room, and didn’t account for where the toilet would go if he was ever so afraid that he wanted to constantly monitor his… Monitors. The only thing I could see was a stained bed and… A bucket where he obviously took care of his business. Tucked away in the corners of the room were cages. I was too focused on him to get a good look, but most of them appeared to be empty; some of them had people inside as well, and I could see gun barrels pointing out from every hole in the metal, covering the room almost completely.
He finally cracked, his voice coming out more like a petulant child than anything else as he could only ask. “WHY? Why come after me first instead of the real threats?” I could kill him right here and now, a bonespike through his head at the same speed as a bullet would kill him immediately, but I had to bait him into his metal form first.
He wasn’t a threat anymore; even if he brought the entire building down on me, I could tank it. A bone cage to stop myself from being crushed, the bones stronger than steel, compressed down to an insane degree, almost unbreakable levels of tensile strength. His metal control was never that good either; he never once trained it, and I doubted he did so in this universe either. Making him think he had the advantage, that he was going into his draining metal form, would keep him safe was my entire goal, and keeping him in it until I killed him was going to be the real test.
“I’m here to kill you because you’re a waste of space as a human. All that power given to you, and you do nothing but throw temper tantrums like a child. You torture people for fun, and you’re asking me why I want to kill you first? You don’t even register on my radar; killing you is only a mercy to your people. I couldn't care less about you if you fucked off away from me, but you had to stay here and try to make something of yourself within killing distance of me.”
He attacked me in the middle of my response, but I just caught the pipe out of the air and acted completely unbothered by it. He tossed another after another as more and more metal kept coming at me. Trying to collapse the ceiling down on me, but I moved the moment I sensed it start to collapse. I still sighed because I’d have to unbury the door, and I was worried about him performing a suicide attack now when I wasn’t before.
I would survive if he did, but I wouldn’t get a powerful minion out of the deal if he died. He didn’t, though, and I guessed he wouldn’t. The man was too much of a coward for anything like that, and that’s when we saw the true face of him as he began to beg. “Please, just let me leave! I promise to never come back if you just let me go. I’ll give you all of my territory ju-.”
“You don’t get a say in this matter, so. I’m going to kill you with this gun.” I pulled a gun out, and he smiled for the first time since I entered the room as he wrenched it from my purposely weakened grip before bringing it to his own hand. “You fucking idiot! I thought you’d be smart enough to realize I can control metal. Now, I’m going to kill you with your own gun!”
He fired, and the gun exploded in his hand. The explosion was weakened to the point it wouldn’t permanently cripple him, but it was still an explosion, and shrapnel flew out as his hand suffered from the explosion. Once again, not strong enough to permanently ruin the hand, but definitely enough to hurt him until he became a zombie.
He cried like a gutted pig as he completely ignored me, instead running over to one of the cages as he pulled off the cover, revealing a woman of… Moderate attractiveness. Just shy of my standard, but as Negan put his hand into the cage and spoke, I knew I had to make her mine. “Heal me!” The woman looked frightened, but I also saw the incredible level of healing she could provide.
I was so shocked, I didn’t notice him firing the guns on the opposite side of the wall until the bullets hit me. None of them, even the sniper rifles lined up to hit everywhere but the corner he was in, could pierce my skin at this point, and the only thing I had to do to come out unscathed was close my eyes so the bullets didn’t irritate them.
He finally went into his metal form and charged me. Whatever ideas he thought up in his head were gone once he noticed I was completely unharmed by the guns hidden inside the metal. I moved with him; the timing of this had to be perfect, or I could have a normal zombie instead of an elementalized one. Moving so fast, there wasn’t anything he could do but widen his eyes. I grabbed him around his throat, cutting off the blood flow to his head.
I could have killed him instantly in other ways, but suffocating him was the best way to make sure his zombified body was fully functional. I learned my lesson too many times now, where the way I killed a zombie fucked them up in the future and made them less helpful. I watched the fear fade from his eyes as he lost consciousness. A minute later, he was dead. Five after that, and I took control of him after he turned into a zombie.
With a sigh of relief, I was glad nothing went wrong. Now, it was time to loot all his valuables, and figure out who this woman was. “Hey, girl in the cage. Got a name?”
Chapter 101
I walked over to the cage as I waited for Negan to zombify. She was at least clothed, but they were so worn down with stains that I could barely make out that they were originally a pink top and sky blue jeans. The woman was tiny, not so skinny that her bones were showing through her skin, but just about that limit. Her hair was matted down, and her body was covered in dirt. In a corner of the cage was where… She handled her business, but the small size of the cage meant that it was building up, and she might have had to sleep in it because the cage was that small.
Beyond torturous living conditions. I didn’t wait as I tore through the iron metal like it was tissue paper, drawing a fearful gasp from her before I pulled out a tub from my storage. Moving over to the sink, I asked her. “Do you know if the hot water works?” I let the water run as it spat out rusty-looking water that wouldn’t warm up, so that was a no to my question.
I broke the sink that was used to catch the water before placing the tub underneath. Thankfully, one of the few items I stored was a boiling hot bucket of water. A single bucket wasn’t enough to warm the water completely, but at least now it wasn’t freezing. I heard Negan start to grumble back to life, or rather, undeath, as he was slowly becoming a zombie. I looked at her again before pointing to the tub. “Please clean yourself while I wait to get Negan under my control.”
She stood there, afraid to move, as I could only breathe out a sigh of frustration. I had gone through something similar to what Negan put me through, but she had it worse. Pulling out a large bundle of cloth, I made a makeshift curtain and placed some women's clothes and a towel on a hospital IV pole I had in my storage. The clothes were going to be big on her, but they would be better than what she was wearing.
Still, she didn’t move, looking at the dead man who was slowly zombifying. I told her again. “He’s dead, you don’t need to ask him for permission to do things anymore. Please clean yourself. He won’t hurt you, I promise.” Finally, after looking at Negan and me a few times, she took her first steps out of the cage, and it was then that I realized what terrible shape she was in.
Her muscles atrophied from disuse as she couldn’t even step out of the foot barrier of metal at the bottom without slipping. Who knew how long he had her in that cage, weeks, possibly months at this point. She was too valuable to let go. Healing was a somewhat common power, but the ability to heal that quickly, wounds that bad, it wasn’t common.
I moved over and picked her up; she might have also been weak from lack of food. I doubted he was even punishing her in that way; he most likely forgot about her because he trained her not to make any noise, otherwise he’d torture her. It would take years to break the conditioning he put her through, but she was just that valuable an asset. I didn’t like to view people that way, but if they had a useful enough power, I needed them on my side, or dead; there was no in between.
She fell into the tub with a splash, catching her breath at the sudden cold water, before I heard her slurping up the water instead of washing. “Hey, if you’re thirsty and hungry, wait until you’re clean, then we’ll drink and eat.” She was so programmed into doing whatever someone was saying; she didn’t even question me, just got to actually washing herself instead of staving off her possibly dying of thirst.
Negan finally fully changed, and I attacked him mentally the moment he did. My will was so strong it slammed into him like a sledgehammer. If it were years ago, when I first came to this world, he might have stood a chance, but now, I was far too strong mentally to lose to a group of zombies, let alone a single one. He only managed to get out a single snarl before he went impassive and under my control.
I waited until the girl finished, not wanting to interrupt her by asking her questions. She finished up and came out looking a hundred times better. She sort of looked like Demi Moore in the movie Ghost, but I could tell her thin frame and short hair were from her living conditions. He possibly even shaved her head bald before he began ignoring her.
Summoning a table, I still had hot, ready-to-eat food, just not much of it, but I figured this was a good enough time to eat it. Placing a fully cooked, still steaming chicken, plenty of side dishes, and desserts, she stared wide-eyed as I teleported in a pitcher of ice-cold water before sitting down. Warning her before I started eating myself. “We really should be feeding you thin soup or something, but powered individuals are more hearty than normal humans, so you shouldn’t go into food shock from eating.”
As much as she was starving, I could tell she was holding herself back and eating with silverware instead of just shoveling the food in with her bare hands. Still, I watched her put it away, one plate, two, three, finally slowing at five as she felt alive again after the quick bath and having delicious food after so long. I just waited. I wanted to ask questions, but waited until she was more comfortable.
She leaned back and began to sob. First quietly, then loudly. Weeping like she never had in her life, all because her abuser was dead, all because of what he put her through, wondering what the purpose was, but there was none. Negan did it for his own sick pleasure, and he wondered why all the competent people left his territory. I looked at the metal zombie frame and knew he was gone; he wasn’t in there.
There was a passing thought that maybe I should have kept him alive. Kept him in a cell like Magneto in the X-Men movie and tortured him, got my pound of flesh from him that he put me through, that he put so many people through as I tortured him back, but… It wasn’t the right move; I was thinking emotionally. He would serve a much greater purpose as a zombie under my command than as a target to vent my frustrations on, and I knew it.
It would have been a waste; I just felt for her because it’s something that I went through myself, from the same person, in fact. I made my way over to her, pulling my chair along as I sat next to her. Giving her the warmth that I wished for after I finally got free from him, a shoulder to literally cry on as she wailed loudly while she grabbed me. I didn’t know her name, but I felt a connection from what we both were put through. Only someone who went through that pain could understand. Her fingers were digging into the back of my shirt as she tried to get her emotions under control.
It was hours, hours later, that she finally calmed down enough, falling asleep in a bed I pulled out of my storage. No one had come to check in on them. Whatever Negan sent them out to do, it seemed that many might have mutinied or just refused to be the one to check on him. Not until the next day, after she had slept for over fourteen hours, did someone finally wake her up as they came to see Negan.
They were in for a nasty surprise, though, because the leader they relied on was currently a zombie standing behind me. The group looked at me, confused at first, before pulling their guns out. “Sure, go ahead and point your guns at me if it’ll make you feel safer. As you can see, I killed your leader; now we have to talk about the next steps for this city because… If I leave, you’re likely to be invaded by someone who will act just like Negan.”
Chapter 102
I decided to stick around and take over Negan’s territory myself. The original plan was to delegate and hand it off to one of my subordinates, but this way allowed me to slowly break down the mental barriers Clara had put up from how Negan treated her. And there was a lot. I hadn’t noticed it at first, but she was in pristine health, at least better than she should have been.
No matter how useful her power was, Negan was the type of person who didn’t care. He would torture her, scar her physically, no matter who she was, trying to take away her beauty and crush her spirit at the same time, but she had zero scars or blemishes. Which meant her healing power also came with some form of regeneration, which was even better, but it made me wonder what exactly her power was.
Healing tended to drain the person or the caster in some way; most healers either had to use the injured person's own stored biomass to heal them, or exhaust themselves to heal, but she seemed to have neither method. Only after days of calmness, of getting to eat her fill and just exist without fear, did her body and mind finally start to relax.
Then came the inevitable. I was attractive and helped free her from literal torture and enslavement. Even if I didn’t make any moves, I was so insanely attractive that women naturally flocked to me, and Clara wasn’t any different. The only big difference I noticed was that she might have been a lesbian, or at least heavily bisexual, but that was just how attractive I was.
Reaching higher tiers with your power only got easier and easier as more time went on. Every year, more zombies would exist, more with cores, and those cores evolved over time. Getting her to tier three only took using the resources that Negan was hoarding, which was a comical mistake. Reaching rank two provided a slight boost to her own healing and regenerative abilities, but once she reached rank three, she gained a new addition to her powers altogether.
Empowerment, her healing, has now empowered those affected by it. For non-powered, it provided a significant boost to a person's abilities. If a normal person was 1 across the board, her boost provided a fifty percent buff to everything, including intellect, which was a very uncommon and hard-to-increase skill. There were other enhancers; they were fairly common, but only in small amounts, and almost never all stats like hers did.
As powered individuals went through the ranks, they tended to gain stats along with their rank increasing, but it seemed to be a qualitative increase, as the buff she could give to others through healing them was now also affecting her permanently, albeit at a halved amount; it was still significant because she wasn’t a base human. At rank three, she was three times the stats of a normal human; twenty-five percent on 3 was more than fifty percent on one after all.
And for powered individuals, the buff also increased the effects of some of the powers. The harder it was to control a power, the more effective her boost would be to them. So while it didn’t affect me in the slightest besides providing a stat buff, to others with difficult-to-control powers, it was a godsend. If she existed in the other timeline, she’d have been a valuable resource that factions would fight over until she was slain in the fighting.
Only after she gained those ranks was I comfortable doing anything more than just hugging and kissing, because each rank made her more resilient, and only after she reached rank three did I think she could take my size without it being an intensely unpleasant experience for her. The increase in her attractiveness was also a pleasant side effect, and she was now more beautiful than the famous actress she reminded me of.
Clara wasn’t beautiful when I first met her, and now she was; that was how much of a cheat power it was. Even just hugging and kissing her, I could still feel the fear she felt from what was happening. She was afraid, afraid this was all a trick, that the rug was about to be pulled out from underneath her as it had so many times before, but it wouldn’t. I was here, my warm body and powerful muscles caressing her with a softness many of my wives had never seen before as she calmed down and stopped shaking.
She was wet, not just soaking, literally dripping wet from her body, preparing herself for me. She wanted this so bad her body was doing everything it possibly could to prepare for it, to prepare for me penetrating her. Now, her body was leaning into me, trying to get as much contact as she possibly could with our bodies intertwined.
She climbed me, one of the smaller women I was with, as her pussy ground against my stomach, while she was now eye level with me as we kissed. Our tongues intermingled while she left my body soaked everywhere her pussy rubbed. My hands moved on instinct, grabbing her ass to ease the burden of her own weight on me as I guided her soaking wet slit to my prick.
Clara needed this more than anything else. Carnal affection, as I made her cum her brains out, the only thing she could think about was the pleasure she felt, and not all the terrible things she had been put through recently. She wasn’t a virgin, but the way her power worked, every time we had sex, it would be bloody. Even just exiting her for a few seconds, and her hymen might heal enough to be broken again.
I could feel her pussy walls clench down; the expansion of my member was actively being fought back by her regeneration as it tried to restore her body back to factory settings. It meant she could squeeze as much at the start as she could at the end; her regeneration also fueled her ability to function and stay conscious. Just like the Energizer Bunny, she kept going and going and going and going.
Our bodies were amazing together. I was big and strong, she was small and tight; what more was there to ask for, and we both had insane stamina. I could fuck Clara for days without either of us needing rest, and it really put into perspective little things you wouldn’t think about for most powers. When you hear of regeneration, you don’t think of unlimited stamina because muscles that should build up fatigue don’t.
She was unlikely to stop from dehydration before exhaustion, just from how much liquid she was losing, keeping our connected parts coated in her lubricant. At least she would if the person who was fucking her couldn’t summon a pitcher of lemonade to keep her hydrated, and cookies to make sure she had fuel to keep going.
Too much of a good thing wasn’t sustainable; as much as I’d like to just give up on life and fuck her forever, I couldn’t. As good as her body was, it could be better, and I was still more compatible with some of my other wives, even if they couldn’t last as long as she could. And I could tell she only went that long because of me; the sheer pleasure she felt was more than enough to knock her unconscious, but through sheer stubborn willpower, she lasted until my other wives showed up to yell at me that it was their turn.
