Chapter 2202: Chapter 1919: Met the Spirit Judge

Lang Gu raised an eyebrow and said in a deep voice, "Secrets about the Spirit Judge? What kind of secrets?"

Mang Hen said, "I’ve seen the Spirit Judge. I know some things about him."

Upon hearing this, everyone looked towards Chong Jiang.

The Insect Spirit Clan Chief has always held the position of the Holy Envoy to the Spirit Judge. Although the Clan Chief, Chong Kun, is dead, Chong Jiang should know something about this.

Seeing everyone looking at him, Chong Jiang pondered and said, "Chong Kun was the one in contact with the Spirit Judge. As far as I know, he’s never seen the true face of the Spirit Judge or even heard his voice."

Lang Gu placed a knife against Mang Hen’s neck and shouted, "Even Chong Kun hasn’t seen the Spirit Judge; how could you have seen him?"

Mang Hen’s strength was greater than Lang Gu’s, but with Song Yun nearby, he dared not resist.

He quickly replied, "I saw the Spirit Judge during a trip to the Daxia Ruins."

"Tell us, what really happened." Everyone demanded.

Mang Hen said, "After I entered the Daxia Ruins, on my way to the central gate, I encountered a figure in black robes, completely shrouded within. That figure was absorbing a certain aura, right, the same dark red aura that allowed the Poison Sac, Iron Armor, and Qi Tian to advance to the Foundation Establishment stage."

"That aura is a good thing. I originally intended to kill that figure in black, but his aura was too overwhelming, even Poison Sac was intimidated and dared not act, so I abandoned the notion of attacking and observed from the side."

"After a while, the man in black finished absorbing the dark red aura, and suddenly turned to look at me. At that moment, I felt locked in by a murderous aura, cold sweat poured down my face, and I was frozen in place. Fortunately, the man in black didn’t intend to kill me. He spared me and wrote some words on the ground."

"I spoke while he wrote. Through our conversation, I realized that the figure in black was indeed the Spirit Judge of the Beast Spirit Clan. He told me he was at the Daxia Ruins to find a very precious artifact, and if he obtained it, his power would grow to an even more terrifying level. By then, he would lead the Beast Spirit Clan out of the Himalayas to become the rulers of the Earth."

"He also said I was lucky to have met him when the central gate of the Daxia Ruins opened, otherwise, he would’ve killed Poison Sac and devoured the blood of the mutant beast, which could enhance his strength."

At this, Lang Gu raised an eyebrow and said in a deep voice, "So, the death of the Bull Spirit Clan’s Foundation Establishment Beast back then was actually caused by the Spirit Judge, who consumed its blood?"

"Yes." Mang Hen nodded and continued, "Afterwards, he told me the central gate wasn’t a place I could go, and told me to leave the Daxia Ruins."

Song Yun questioned, "The Spirit Judge, did he enter the central gate?"

Mang Hen said, "He said he was going to the central gate to find that artifact. But when I asked him what the artifact was, he said he didn’t know either, but he was sure it was very powerful. He said that when he came out of the central gate, he would seek me out, and by then he would cultivate me into his right hand, growing stronger to break out of the Himalayas."

Upon hearing this, Song Yun understood that the Spirit Judge had gone to the central gate, but only after he left, so they hadn’t encountered each other.

And the artifact the Spirit Judge spoke of was the Ten Thousand Demon Order.

He wanted to obtain the Ten Thousand Demon Order to absorb the demon aura and enhance his own power.

However, it’s peculiar since the Ten Thousand Demon Order releases demon aura which can be absorbed by mutant beasts and demon beasts, why could the Spirit Judge absorb it too?

Could it be that he, like me, also has a special physique?

Song Yun shook his head in denial of his own speculation, but a bolder conjecture quickly surfaced in his mind: "Could it be that the Spirit Judge is a demon beast or mutant beast?"

"Right, Mang Hen said the Spirit Judge doesn’t talk, only writes. Maybe he really is a demon beast or mutant beast whose intelligence has grown, but hasn’t learned human language yet."

"This is too terrifying. If the Spirit Judge is indeed a demon beast, his intelligence is unbelievably high, to the extent that he controls the humans of the Himalayas in his hands."

While Song Yun was pondering, Mang Hen continued, "I followed the Spirit Judge’s order to leave the Daxia Ruins. What happened to him afterwards, I don’t know."

After speaking, everyone fell into contemplation.

Lang Gu asked Mang Hen, "Did you see the Spirit Judge’s face?"

Mang Hen shook his head and said, "He was completely shrouded in the black robe, wearing a hood, with a black mask on his face, only revealing two eyes. Those eyes were red, by the way."

"Red eyes?"

Everyone was puzzled. Among humans, there is no race with red eyes.

Lang Gu asked again, "Is the Spirit Judge male or female?"

"I don’t know. You can’t hear a voice or see a face." Mang Hen shook his head, then remembered something and added, "Right, from the way he moved his sleeve robe, his hands didn’t seem very long, and his arms were always bent, unable to straighten."

This statement puzzled everyone again.

Lang Gu pondered, "Could the Spirit Judge’s arms have been injured?"

Others assumed the Spirit Judge was human, but upon hearing Mang Hen’s words, Song Yun increasingly believed the Spirit Judge was a mutant beast or demon beast.

However, what kind exactly, he couldn’t immediately figure out.

Lang Gu and the others pondered for a while longer, still without a clue, and asked Mang Hen again, "What level is the Spirit Judge at?"

Mang Hen thought for a moment and said, "I’m not sure, but definitely much stronger than Poison Sac, as his presence alone intimidated Poison Sac from daring to offend."

Hearing this, Lang Gu and the others all became more solemn.
