The next day, Ethan woke up early again.

After completing his exercises in the living room, he prepared breakfast and ate with Evelyn and Nora before driving their daughter to school.

Once Nora had entered the school grounds, he returned to Eve Refreshments.

The livestream was scheduled to begin that morning, and he was curious to see how Gilbert and the others would handle it.

When he arrived, the shop was already being prepared.

Gilbert had positioned his camera near the entrance, making sure it captured the fruit displays without obstructing customers. Maya sat nearby with her phone, ready to monitor the comments and respond to questions. Evelyn and Cassandra, meanwhile, were arranging the fruits and checking that everything looked presentable.

"Is everything ready?" Ethan asked.

Gilbert looked up from his equipment.

"Almost. We’ll begin in a few minutes."

Ethan nodded and found a comfortable spot where he could watch without getting in their way.

Soon, the livestream began.

Gilbert greeted the viewers before introducing Eve Refreshments and briefly explaining what they sold. He then turned the camera toward the neatly arranged fruits, moving slowly enough for viewers to see the different varieties.

Maya monitored the comments as they appeared.

"There are already people asking about the prices," she announced.

Evelyn stepped into the camera’s view with a friendly smile.

"Good morning, everyone! Welcome to Eve Refreshments. If you’d like to know the prices of any fruits you’re interested in, feel free to ask in the comments. We’ll do our best to answer your questions."

Cassandra joined her, greeting the viewers before returning to arrange a few more fruits.

At first, the audience was modest. A handful of viewers asked about the prices, while others wanted to know where the shop was located and whether they offered delivery.

Maya answered the questions she could, occasionally asking Gilbert to adjust the camera when something needed a closer look.

As the stream continued, more viewers began joining.

Some were curious about the shop itself, while others asked about the adjoining smoothie business. Maya took the opportunity to explain the menu and direct interested viewers toward the juice shop’s account.

Ethan watched the entire process with amusement.

’Not bad. They’re making good use of the attention instead of simply begging people to buy something.’

He had seen countless businesses waste money on advertising that told potential customers nothing useful. Gilbert’s approach was different. The livestream allowed viewers to see the products, ask questions, and observe how the staff interacted with customers.

It wasn’t a revolutionary strategy, but it was practical.

And practical strategies often worked better than complicated ones.

A customer soon entered the shop and approached Evelyn to purchase several fruits. She greeted him warmly and answered his questions while Cassandra helped select the fruits he wanted.

Gilbert kept recording, making sure the camera captured the interaction without getting in the customer’s way.

Evelyn and Cassandra were clearly conscious of the livestream, but neither of them behaved unnaturally. They continued serving customers as they normally would, maintaining their professionalism while occasionally acknowledging the viewers.

The comment section became livelier. Maya smiled as she read through the messages.

"Someone says the fruits look really fresh."

"Thank them for watching," Gilbert replied without looking away from the camera.

Another comment appeared. "Do you sell in bulk?"

Maya immediately responded, explaining that the shop accepted bulk orders and inviting interested customers to contact them for details.

Ethan leaned back in his seat.

’This might actually work.’

He wasn’t expecting the livestream to make the business famous overnight. What mattered was that people were discovering the shop, asking questions, and showing genuine interest.

If they maintained the quality of their products and handled their customers well, the attention could gradually turn into regular business.

He spent some time watching before eventually checking his phone.

It was still early enough that he could help with the shop’s operations, but there was something else he wanted to do.

Today, Evelyn had expressed a desire to pick Nora up from school herself.

She had mentioned it the previous evening, explaining that she wanted to spend more time with their daughter during the school run.

Ethan had agreed without hesitation.

There was no reason he had to handle every trip simply because he was the one who usually drove.

When Evelyn approached him later that morning, he glanced up from his phone.

"I’m going to pick Nora up today," She reminded him.

"I remember." He smiled. "The car is yours whenever you need it."

Evelyn’s expression softened. "Thank you."

"Just drive carefully."

"I will."

She returned to work, and Ethan went back to observing the livestream.

By the time it ended, the number of viewers had grown beyond what they had initially expected. There were still plenty of people who had only watched briefly, but the comments suggested that the stream had attracted genuine interest.

Maya looked pleased with the results.

"That went better than I expected."

Gilbert nodded as he checked the recording.

"We’ll review the footage later and see what we can improve next time."

Cassandra smiled.

"At least we didn’t embarrass ourselves."

"Speak for yourself," Maya teased. "I was perfect."

Evelyn laughed.

"All right, Miss Perfect. Go back to work."

The atmosphere was relaxed, and Ethan couldn’t help smiling as he watched them return to their respective duties.

For once, there was no immediate problem demanding his attention.

The business was growing, his family was doing well, and the ordinary rhythm of their lives was beginning to feel less unfamiliar.

He found himself enjoying it more than he had expected.

’Perhaps this is what I’ve been missing.’

The thought came unexpectedly, making him pause for a moment.

In his previous life, most of his days had revolved around business decisions, negotiations, and the constant pursuit of greater success. Even when he had achieved more than most people could dream of, there had always been another goal waiting ahead.

Now, he could spend an ordinary morning watching his wife run her business and feel satisfied.

It was a strange change, but not an unpleasant one.
