Eren didn’t want to explain himself and simply looked at Pang Cai and thanked him. "This is very valuable information. Thank you."

He took out about a hundred sunspores from his pockets and gave them to Pang Cai.

It was generous. But Eren was simply rewarding Pang Cai for giving him exactly what he wanted.

After that, Eren walked away from the pagoda, with Celeste chasing after him.

"Who’s Ms. Calliope?" she asked him.

Eren continued to move forwards. "She’s a Proctor from the Academic Sector."

Celeste then looked over at Eren, before she nodded her head. "I see... you’re planning on interfering in their rivalry so that you could take all the spoils for yourself, am I right?"

Eren stopped and looked at Celeste. He didn’t think she’d understand him that fast. "How did you know?"

"Well, if the Academic Group and a Hunter Group are trying to fight against each other over a Territory, this means that the puzzles and the obstacles there are not something that could be done simply through one or the other.

It means that one would need brains and brawn to conquer that territory. That is why those two groups decided that teaming up with each other is the best way.

And I know that you would want to interfere in that competition because you have shown a pretty knowledgeable use of Array Formations. You think that you can be better than those two groups."

Eren underestimated Celeste. She had been observing him for far too long that she was starting to understand his motives and desires.

"Am I wrong?" she asked him, a little proud smirk on her face.

Eren eventually turned around and started walking again. "You are wrong. There’s another reason why I wanted to interfere in their rivalry."

Eventually, both of them returned back to their camp. At this point, it seemed that the rest of the group were taking their break after crushing so many Skyward Herb leaves and many more supplemental ingredients.

"You guys are back," Sierra said, wiping the sweat off of her face. "Is this good enough?"

She pointed towards a large basin where all of the gathered Skyward Herb mush was left behind by everyone. Eren could see a small pool of dirtied yellow water just sitting at the very bottom, waiting to be processed.

"Yes. It’s perfect," he said to them.

They were not that skillful. But they were hardworking. That made up for everything else.

Eren then looked over to the rest of the group, who were processing the different ingredients. And just like Sierra, they were going along very smoothly.

In fact, it was enough to create one Physique Accelerant Paste.

Eren then took a bowl and scooped a small bit of the liquid yellow extract from the Skyward Herb leaves. He then used more bowls in order to keep every ingredient for the paste tidy.

Once he had everything ready, he immediately went to work.

First, he covered his hand in a bowl of the yellow liquid. He then shook it, letting the yellow powder settle atop his palms. He continued this for as long as the water on the bowl remained even a slight tinge of yellow.

Once it was completely gone, then Eren knew it was finished.

Watching this, Henry, Sierra, and the others were flabbergasted.

"I never knew that Skyward Herbs could be extracted like that."

"How did those yellow pollen become separated from the liquid! It’s like his hand was a magnet..."

"Heck, I’ve never even heard of anything like this before."

Meanwhile, Celeste on the other hand, was way more surprised than the rest of them. After all, she knew a little bit about apothecaries. She knew that it wasn’t that simple to extract ingredients from a mulch of liquid. Much more so to do it with such quickness and accuracy.

"As far as I know," Celeste said. "Apothecaries could only extract Skyward Herbs through their industrial machines."

That was what was normal. And yet, she was now seeing Eren do it by hand. A feat that everyone in the world thought was impossible.

Eren didn’t mind the audience around him and simply focused on creating his paste. Next, he took the violet moss and covered his pollen-filled palm on top of it and squeezed.

Just like before, liquid began to seep out of the moss, and the yellow powder in Eren’s hands were now completely absorbed by the moss.

Eren continued to do this, until what was left in his palms were even finer powder, with yellow and violet hues.

Then, with the other ingredients, he did the same process as before. Since this was not the first time he was creating this in this world, he became a lot faster than normal. Not only that, but his mastery over R?zoň has also gotten stronger.

It wasn’t long before Eren finally created the Physique Accelerant Paste!

"Woah... what kind of medicine is that?"

Eren then looked at them with a smile. "It’s a paste that will make me stronger. It’s just going to kill me first."

Everyone thought that he was joking. But then, as soon as Eren applied the paste onto his torso and at his back, he suddenly started writhing on the ground in extreme pain.

"ARGGHHH!"

Everyone immediately panicked, thinking something had gone wrong.

"What’s going on?! Should we help him?"

"Maybe we have to get a Proctor!"

"Let’s help him up. Maybe get him some water."

It was at this point that Celeste raised her hand and stopped everyone from moving. She looked at Eren, writhing on the ground from pain, and nodded to herself.

"You don’t have to do anything. He already said that he knew that this was going to happen. It’s just a side-effect of the medicine."

"I don’t know what type of medicine is going to make someone scream in pain," said Abe.

Celeste smirked. "I don’t know either. But that’s what makes Eren so interesting. He seems to know so much more about the world."
