Eren jumped out of nowhere and delivered a Primal Strike at an unsuspecting examinee, straight at his ribs. He crumpled, unconscious at the sudden attack.

The other members of this group immediately turned towards Eren, shocked at his appearance.

The other eight examinees on the ground charged towards him, trying to stop him as he went towards the large fountain.

Suddenly, Celeste, Sierra, and the others arrived from behind and restrained them. A large brawl erupted around the base of the fountain.

Meanwhile, the four main examinees climbing up the fountain looked down at Eren and gritted their teeth.

"Don’t let him come up here!" said a dark-skinned man. He seemed to be their leader, given that he was the one furthest up the fountain.

The other three quickly shuffled around to intercept Eren.

The large fountain was like a temple. It had a lot of pillars and eaves to make for a triangular roof that led up to the spout.

Climbing the pillars was easy. Using the Primal Step to scale up, Eren began making his way up to the top. Above him, three examinees were coming to intercept him.

"I’ll handle two of them," Celeste said from beside him. Just like him, she was standing vertical on the pillar with her feet having grown claws.

But Eren simply smiled at her. "No. You stay down and help our group. I’ll handle them all."

And with those confident words, Eren began to run up the pillar at an even faster speed, surprising Celeste and the rest of the examinees watching him from above.

Eren’s speed with his Primal Step had gone above and beyond that of normal. He had learned how to run, instead of just walking through the pillar.

"How did you..." Celeste muttered to herself as she watched Eren race off into the first tier of the multiple eaved roof of the fountain.

Just a few days ago, she had seen Eren use his Primal Step with a little bit of awkwardness. She could tell that he just wasn’t comfortable with it.

But now, it’s as if every step of his was filled with confidence.

Was it really possible to improve in a matter of a few days?

Meanwhile, Eren collided with the first examinee. The man seemed adamant in making him fall, to the point where he had lunged downwards at Eren, forcing both of them to fall.

Eren immediately ducked downward, hugging the pillar. The examinee grabbed at his collar, trying to push him down from the pillar.

But Eren remained stuck to the pillar, surprising the examinee.

The Negative Reinforcement in Eren’s feet was now so strong that he could still stick to the walls even if he was bearing the load of two humans!

The examinee couldn’t hide his surprise. But before he could even say anything, Eren punched the hand gripping his collar, making the examinee let go and fall back to the base of the fountain.

Celeste was waiting there patiently. As the examinee landed, she performed a quick roundhouse kick that knocked him out immediately.

She looked up at Eren, giving him a thumbs up. But he didn’t respond. He simply put his attention back to climbing the fountain.

He continued to run up the eaves. It was not a flat surface. It was rounded, making it hard for people to use Negative Reinforcement on. This was why this group had such a hard time conquering this Territory.

But not Eren. With light steps, he hopped his way through the spherical eaves until he reached the second examinee.

He was more prepared than the last one. He was going to fight Eren.

Both of them were standing vertical on the spherical eaves. The examinee had the advantage, as he was standing atop the sphere, needing less R?zoň to keep himself afloat.

The man stood there as a gatekeeper. He wasn’t going to let Eren come closer.

But Eren didn’t care. He continued to run up, dodging as the man launched a punch that looked more like a spear strike than anything else.

Eren was forced to tilt his body to the left as the R?zoň spear emanating out of the man’s fists almost grazed past his ear.

His feet turned uneven. One tilting to the side, one, off the wall itself. The examinee immediately took this opportunity to lunge at him and try to push him down into the ground.

But before the man could even do anything, a Primal Strike hit him square in the chest. It unbalanced him, causing him to plummet down into the ground.

"WHAT?!"

From up above, the last two examinees were flabbergasted upon seeing this. Who was this guy?! They didn’t think he was this powerful.

Eren continued to move upwards, climbing up eave after eave. He was getting closer to the top, where the last two examinees were waiting for him.

They had chosen to stand together. Better chance for them to defeat Eren that way, they thought.

Eren climbed the final eave and faced off against them. They surrounded him from both sides.

"You’re not getting up that easily."

"This flag is ours!"

It was at this point that Eren lunged at them. "Then stop me from getting it!"

He unleashed a Primal Strike at the dark-skinned leader, who parried with his forearms that had grown a tiny-shield made out of R?zoň.

Eren’s strike caused the man to skid backwards, surprising him.

Meanwhile, the other examinee, a youth with a bowl-haircut charged at Eren with a kick. R?zoň-empowered, this could slice through flesh with ease.

Eren was forced to abandon his next Strike as he backed away from the kick. Just then, the dark-skinned leader lunged towards him and delivered a powerful punch. Its shockwave travelled at the speed of sound, reaching Eren near instantly.

He could only use his hands to block the attack. It almost broke through his guard. The force was enough to unbalance him, giving the bowlcut man a kick aimed straight for his head.

Eren smiled.
