Chapter 1330 - 1357: Truly Difficult

Chapter 1330: Chapter 1357: Truly Difficult

Li Tingyan naturally understood, "It is indeed difficult. If it weren’t for the soil issues here, people wouldn’t be living in such poverty. I could also come up with other ways to improve production."

"A-Yan, is there a production team here?" Nianyang asked.

"Yes, Kang Quan and I each manage half of Cold Island, divided into two production teams. There aren’t many people, but they’re basically quite useless."

"Having a production team is enough. It means there are professionals in farming."

Nianyang snapped her fingers, full of spirit,

"So my suggestion is to develop Cold Island into a tourist attraction, allowing all travelers who love going out to relax to choose our Cold Island. Only when Cold Island has popularity can it generate considerable revenue, which will only increase rather than decrease, becoming more and more prosperous. The income profits at that time will be unimaginable."

Li Tingyan squinted, "A tourist attraction?"

"Yes, don’t underestimate the number of tourists now. In a few years, the era of science will advance to a point you can’t even imagine.

By then, people’s material conditions will have improved, living standards will be better and better, and everyone will enjoy life. During holidays, many people will travel with family, friends, and lovers, just like we went to Hai Shi for our honeymoon before."

Li Tingyan understood immediately and asked, "Will there really be so many people who love traveling?"

"Of course, you don’t know that after the year 2020, the tourism industry will have the highest value-added every year."

Nianyang gave him examples, "For instance, places like Sanya, the Dead Sea, Jiuzhaigou, rural homes, resorts, and iconic buildings of various countries will all be chosen as travel destinations by people."

Afraid that Li Tingyan might not understand, Nianyang explained to him in detail why people would choose to travel to the examples she mentioned.

Li Tingyan replied sharply, "Wife, what you said is amazing. Developing tourism is indeed a very good idea. However, the attractions you mentioned all have good environments and rich resources, which is why people choose to go there. But look at this Cold Island, there’s nothing here, and it’s cold. Who would foolishly come here to suffer?"

Nianyang smiled warmly, "Don’t lose hope. Even without a good environment or rich resources, we can think about how to resolve these difficulties, how to transform the island, and make it the most popular tourist spot, don’t you think?!"

Li Tingyan glanced at the notebook, "So what you’ve written is all about plans to transform the island."

"Exactly!"

Nianyang spoke excitedly, "After various eliminations, I believe we can develop the island towards leisure farm tourism.

After all, there are so many seas in the world, using the island merely as a gimmick isn’t attractive. However, if we create a farm tourism experience on the island,

people can experience rural life while seeing the sea. Wouldn’t that be particularly appealing?"

Li Tingyan hesitated and asked, "The idea is great, but do you think it’s feasible to transform the island into a leisure farm with its current conditions?"

"Of course, take a look at the map. Cold Island is so large, with a dock, hills at the rear, bamboo groves, fields, and surrounded by villages. It’s practically tailor-made for a leisure farm environment!"
