Chapter 1313: Chapter 1340: Vacation Island 15

Mei Yanfang is already in this situation, so now she can only leave it to fate.

She went tearfully to see her son, and the drama temporarily ended.

Ni Jia breathed a sigh of relief and looked at Nianyang.

"Doctor Chu, I’m very sorry, I misunderstood you because I wasn’t aware of the truth earlier, I hope you don’t mind."

Nianyang smiled faintly, "Ni Doctor, you’d better worry about yourself. I don’t know whether it’s your fault or the nurse’s."

"But as the doctor in the medical room, a human error medical accident occurred. None of you can escape responsibility."

That night, Maomao regained consciousness. As Nianyang had said, Maomao’s brain nerves were damaged, making him less alert than before, and he stammered when speaking.

Thank goodness for Nianyang’s Spiritual Spring Water, otherwise he could have ended up directly disabled, which is already much better.

But for Mei Yanfang, her son was fine originally, and suddenly he’s a stutterer. How can he marry when he grows up?

The medical room must give an explanation for this!

The next morning, Li Tingyan returned with his crew and a shipload of supplies, appearing full of energy.

He hadn’t even had the chance to share good news with his wife when he heard about the medical room incident from others.

At that moment, Li Tingyan didn’t even go to see his wife and directly talked to Kang Quan.

Kang Quan, confused, went to see Li Tingyan and understood the ins and outs. He felt like killing Ni Jia but remained calm on the surface, "Li Ye, this is the fault of the women in the medical room, what use is it for you to find me? Besides, it has nothing to do with Jiajia."

Li Tingyan sneered coldly,

"Ni Jia is the attending doctor. I’ve investigated this. It should have been Ni Doctor’s responsibility, but she assigned it to an intern nurse, causing the medical accident. Although Ni Doctor was not directly involved, she has indirect responsibility."

Kang Quan clenched his jaw, "Then Li Ye, go find Ni Jia. I have no objections to how you want to handle her."

"The rule in the family compound has always been that if the wife makes a mistake, the man is responsible."

Li Tingyan said, "Ni Doctor made the mistake, you are her direct superior, so you should bear the responsibility."

Kang Quan exploded, "Why? Ni Jia is only my lover, my wife is not her!"

Li Tingyan squinted his eyes, "Lover?"

Kang Quan realized he slipped and quickly said, "Li Ye, let me be straight with you, Ni Jia is not my wife; she’s just a tool for relieving loneliness here. Her mistake, you find her, don’t come to me."

Li Tingyan laughed, "Fine, as long as you announce to everyone that Ni Jia is not your wife, I won’t come for you."

How can that be said, if it spreads, he won’t be able to work on the island anymore!

Kang Quan’s face darkened, "Li Ye, see, can you give me face and not bother with this?"

"Give you face? We are competitors; what face do you want me to give you?" Li Tingyan said mercilessly,

"In this matter, Ni Doctor almost harmed my wife. If my wife hadn’t been smart, it would be my wife and I who are under scrutiny now. I don’t care much, but whoever makes my wife uncomfortable, I want them to pay back a hundred times!"

Kang Quan said irritably, "Then what do you want?"

Li Tingyan squinted his eyes and said, "I want 20% of your supplies this month to be compensated to the victim Mei Yanfang’s family, and the remaining 80% to be distributed to all the fishermen and crew members under my charge on the island."
