Twilight Glades, Outer Region

"Hmm, why are we sticking to the right path?" A Paragon member asked curiously.

"We’ve taken a lot of detours and wasted quite a lot of time."

"I don’t know." Felicia was also annoyed. She thought there was some danger, so they were told to stay to the right.

Yet nothing seemed to have happened on any path.

Just what was going on?

Did she get played by the Demoness?

But why would the Demoness do that?

It would only stain her reputation and credibility in the future.

’Ugh, did I really get fooled?’ She scratched her head in frustration.

Just when she thought about the time wasted, a shockwave emitted toward her side.

"What was that?" Alarmed, Felicia and the rest immediately got into a fighting stance.

"Scouters!" She then called out to them.

Swoosh!

In the blink of an eye, a few Assassins hopped on top of a large tree branch and activated their foresight.

Their foresight enabled them to see from afar.

"Oh my god, what the heck?"

"It’s a good thing we took the right path. That isn’t something you can win."

"We dodged a bullet big time."

Each of the Assassins who finally got a closer look at the situation was horrified by the scene.

"Explain yourself!" Felicia questioned in annoyance.

Soon, an Assassin dropped down to the ground and explained. "There’s a big monster the size of the Colossuses, but its Health Point was unrecognizable."

"It’s not that it’s unrecognizable, but its level far exceeds what we can perceive with our current level. As Tier 2, we should somewhat see data of a Tier 3 monster, but if they were unknown, it meant that they were Tier 3 or above." Another Assassin dropped down and reported their findings.

"A monster above Tier 3?"

"We should retreat now!"

"Why is Twilight Glades such a dangerous place?"

The Paragon members panicked and thought this place was way too dangerous.

However, Felicia was quiet, almost as if she had been hit with a stun.

’Was that the reason why we were told to stay on the right?’ She was certain that their position was in a safe spot.

That shockwave from earlier just barely missed them. She reckoned their members would have been inflicted with status ailment or something if they were any slower and got hit by the shock wave.

And sure enough, the Assassins collectively confirmed that the monster didn’t seem interested in their direction at all.

They were only after the other group, which stuck either to the center or the left path.

Needless to say, Nocturnal happened to suffer the hardest at the moment because they chose a path precisely on the monster’s trajectory.

Even now, the Assassins, still at the top, saw Lionfield being tossed around like a rag doll.

Their fate was extremely tragic, to the point where the Assassins felt sorry for them.

’A beefy man like him just got destroyed like an insect. How in the world did that boss spawn?’ They shivered in fear and shook their heads.

Naturally, they still did their job and began to record the scene. This was something new to them, and they were required to investigate what was going on.

"I don’t know how that happened, but we should just make haste." Felicia had no intention of staying longer to find out.

Who knows if the monster would suddenly target them?

While Felicia’s group remained unharmed and safe, the others who had to pay the "reservation slots" weren’t the same. All of them had died and suffered a 7-day ban penalty.

[System Notification: You have been killed by a Special Entity Lord! You are barred from entering the Divine World for 7 days!]

That was the system message they received for those who died and were forcefully logged out.

"What the hell is this nonsense?"

"Special Entity Lord? What kind of concept was that?"

"Fuck fuck fuck! Barred from 7 days when the update just dropped? Aren’t you just killing us now?"

At other times, not being able to play for a week might be a bit of a bummer.

But it wasn’t that serious because the game wouldn’t be stretched to a gap where they wouldn’t be able to catch up.

Alas, the same could not be said now.

"Oh my god, I want to strangle Ethereal so badly right now."

"Fuck Ethereal and their shitty plan! Who even agrees with them in the first place?"

"I’m so sick of trying to target the Vanguard Guild. With every new update, they just dominate and monopolize the best resources already. It’s always like that!"

"How many more lessons do we need to be taught to just ignore them?"

While many were frustrated, the rage directed at Ethereal continued to rise, especially when the higher-ups in their respective guilds learned of the 7-day real-world ban.

As they all cried in their pitiful wounds, back in the Haven Wind City, Carmen was astonished by the sudden monster.

"Just what in the world is that monster, Feng?" She had a feeling he definitely knew something about it. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have been instructed by him to specifically warn Felicia’s group to stick to the right.

"Do you remember how they arrived in our city?" Xu Feng asked.

"Of course, they went through the Twilight Glades and struggled for almost an hour. It was hilarious watching them struggle their way to our city when we can just teleport directly."

"And have you counted how many monsters they killed?"

"Ehh..."

It would be a lie if Carmen said she kept count of the number of monsters they had killed.

"The Legacy Era doesn’t just mean players getting a big boost. The neutral maps also received a Legacy boost, and from now on, if a certain number of monsters were killed, a Special Entity Lord would be spawned." Xu Feng revealed.

"Let me guess... you’ve read that in the library." She narrowed her eyes and commented.

"You know me so well~." He clapped his hands and gave her a big thumbs-up.
