"I just knew you wouldn’t be nice enough to treat me to a meal." He crossed his legs and commented. His eyes darted to Rebecca with an indifferent look.

This meeting only occurred because of her.

Meanwhile, Rebecca discreetly nudged Allison’s shoulder slightly.

It was a signal to help defuse the awkward atmosphere.

"Haha, long time no see, Feng," Allison said lightly and held a menu. "Last time, you didn’t order anything, and we got disturbed. This is a good time to make it up."

Xu Feng twitched his brows.

Although it seemed like Allison was discussing the menu, she was actually talking about the Lethal Corp situation.

Her implication was that he never had a proper conversation with the Lethal Corp, and now was the time to discuss with Rebecca who held authority.

As much as he wanted to ignore her, Xu Feng decided to accept the menu and ordered a small iced coffee.

Allison heaved a sigh of relief when she saw him order a small coffee.

’Seems like he’s willing to give me some face.’ By accepting the menu and ordering, there was hope for the conversation.

"By the way, I’ve seen your short drama. Your acting was amazing." Allison praised.

"Oh, really?" Xu Feng chuckled in amusement. "Was it the kissing scene that was amazing? There was quite a lot of traffic with it."

Almost immediately, Allison coughed and nearly choked on her drink.

"Did you enjoy kissing the actress?" Allison grabbed a napkin and wiped her mouth as she asked.

"It would be a lie to say I hate kissing a beauty." Xu Feng responded in an ambiguous manner.

He even shifted his sight briefly toward Rebecca when he mentioned beauty.

’Now you should know to not request me, right?’ He thought to himself. By playing a lecherous hooligan, this should be enough to deter Rebecca from raising her request.

After all, this was a misconception to make one think he was lusting after their body or look.

Her solemness shocked even Allison on the spot.

’What is she saying?’ Allison panicked internally.

But what made her even more stunned was Xu Feng’s immediate refusal.

"I’m sorry." Xu Feng raised his hand and halted Rebecca from speaking any further.

"It’s not your problem, but I have a girlfriend already. I have no intent of kissing another woman, and that includes any future filming if I were to be forced into acting again." He emphasized the word "girlfriend".

Previously, he was still single and didn’t confirm any relationship with Carmen.

Therefore, he didn’t feel any guilt about kissing another actress for the plot. And even more so if he were to initiate any intimate contact with other women.

However, that had since changed when he confessed his love for Carmen.

"You have a girlfriend?" Rebecca widened her eyes. She didn’t anticipate him admitting it on the spot.

"So it’s true." Allison flashed a bittersweet smile. It was hard to tell what her current feelings were.

From time to time, she would often reminisce about the moment when Xu Feng bravely stood forward to confront the ambushers to protect her.
