Chapter 1099: Sensational
Chapter 1099: Sensational
Shortly after leaving the NPC sailors alive, Xu Feng ordered the warship to continue to hit multiple vital points that support the Miracle Pavilion.
"Today, I want those to know that messing with the Vanguard Guild or taking advantage of us during a crisis would come to learn of the consequences." Xu Feng solemnly declared.
His eyes quickly darted to Carlton and Rodney, who had been hiding in a safe compartment while having a clear oversight of the situation.
"I believe the materials from earlier are enough for the two of you to create a sensational post, right?" He asked.
Almost immediately, both Carlton and Rodney straightened up their backs. They saluted and held a respectful expression.
"Yes, Boss. We can even create multiple memes with a split screen of that sly bastard being a laughingstock." Carlton exclaimed.
He had seen the Divine News segment where Luther appeared on with his cocky look. And now that he had snapped some lovely pictures of Luther’s fallen state, he couldn’t wait to create numerous memes to hype the events.
As for Rodney, his mind was already working on how to create a fantastic storyline with multiple parts. Such juicy materials had enabled him to fantasize about the amount of traffic it would receive.
"Rest assured, Boss. I’ll make sure the Miracle Pavilion will remain trending everywhere for all the wrong reasons." Rodney declared. He would definitely ensure that the Miracle Pavilion would wish to dig a hole to hide itself for a long time.
Satisfied with their enthusiasm, Xu Feng nodded his head.
"You can start working on them and stay in the compartment. We will still hit a few more vital points." He said.
"Then, boss, when should we publish the articles?"
"You can inquire about OneManMedia and DataSeer, for that matter. But remember, you have to receive permission from Vortex Viper."
"Understood, Boss!"
Sometime later, the duo swiftly returned to their compartment, completely ignoring the other members who stared at them enviously. They also wished to have a conversation with Eclipse Nova on a 1:1 ratio.
Unfortunately, Eclipse Nova’s aura was too difficult for them to approach.
Not to mention, he was surrounded by too many big shots in their guild.
There were Dark Night, Blue Star, Lightning Blade, and Vortex Viper.
Each of these individuals would cause them to feel nervous despite being an elite member.
"Sigh, hopefully there can be a battle for us to shine." An elite member lamented softly.
"You are the first to complain when going into battle because you kept losing your gears. Now you want to battle?"
"How can that be the same? We have the big Boss with us, and this warship is simply a treasure to behold. Look how those losers from the Miracle Pavilion get blasted into pieces."
"Alright, stop gossiping and pay attention to the situation. The boss said that we will hit more areas, so stay focused." Kailey suddenly clasped her hands and stopped them from being too distracted.
However, if she had to be honest, she wanted to slack off like the rest as well.
She seriously doubted that any player in the current stage could possibly confront them, specifically at sea. While others were left scrambling to hire NPC for regular ships or speedboats, their guild already owned a whopping warship.
’I just knew the Vanguard Guild wouldn’t have made such a declaration post without a plan in mind.’ Kailey smirked, feeling that her decision to join the guild was correct.
As for those who quit the guild and couldn’t withstand a little bit of turbulence, Kailey despised them to the guts. They were even worse than Benson, who remained loyal and continued to infiltrate the enemy’s bases on the guild’s behalf.
Time quickly went by, and news started to circulate throughout the Divine World.
Many guilds that were closely related to the Miracle Pavilion suffered massive losses.
Almost all their cooperation with NPCs was ruined, and they were forced to compensate for the damages.
While these guilds were hit hard, Xu Feng also granted an article written by Rodney to be posted. To be fair, even he was a bit taken aback by Rodney’s speed in cooking up a beautiful article in such a short span of time.
Given how the conflict between the Vanguard Guild and the Miracle Pavilion had become publicized, it didn’t take long before the noisy players noticed there was a new post.
"Check out the Vanguard Guild’s latest post in the Game Forum!" A level 37 Berserker exclaimed.
"Eh, could it be a surrender post? I’ve heard that their base city is being camped 24/7, and there were still many gathering outside of Haven Wind Town to lay siege." A level 39 Gun Knight inquired, their hands quickly opening the Game Forum.
"Hah, lay siege? I wonder if those people would still have the time to worry about besieging the town."
Almost immediately, the nearby players were intrigued by the Berserker’s words and went to check the post.
Their curiosity soon turned to bewilderment and astonishment.
"Holy smokes! The Vanguard Guild actually owns a warship?"
"What’s the point of caring about the warship? Eclipse Nova has made its appearance after so long. Looks like the Miracle Pavilion had finally enraged the Vanguard Guild enough for him to show up."
"Ah, look at all those screenshots and the guilds who suffered heavy losses. This is too ruthless! I approve of Eclipse Nova!"
"Approved!"
In the blink of an eye, the posts became sensational, with many players praising the Vanguard Guild for being so merciless in their retaliation. It also quickly reminded many that they weren’t a foolish or powerless guild.
Instead, the Vanguard Guild was a sleeping tiger. When asleep, it was docile and tamed. But once provoked, the tiger would unleash hell for those who awakened it.

Dragon Wind Empire
Upon resurrecting and returning to their guild residence, Luther was quickly bombarded with notifications coming from the higher-ups.
A bittersweet smile flashed across his face as he already anticipated what the notifications were all about.
"Damn you, Eclipse Nova." Luther clenched his fist, his eyes narrowing in a cold light. "You took the initiative to hit our allies’ vital points and made such a post to divert our attention, right? Well, too bad for you. We’re still going to besiege your precious little town."
