Chapter 1077: Return To Paradise Plains

A relocation process warning from the system made Xu Feng understand the severity of the matter.

Normally, a relocation process was disguised as a system update that forcefully logged out every player to commence the changes.

However, because the Phantasm Sea was a unique environment, almost like a separate expansion or DLC pack, only he would be affected by the relocation.

After all, aside from him, no other players were even eligible to enter the Phantasm Sea.

This mission was exclusive to him, and he had no plans on divulging it to anyone yet. Such a game-changing event mustn’t be shared with people he could not absolutely trust.

Sometime later, Xu Feng finished his farewell with the Phantasm Fish and boarded his warship alongside Burpe.

"You are free to travel here again. Once the Phantasm Sea is cleared up, our species can produce some very unique items that may be of help to the Sea Traveler." Arthur hovered above the warship and said somewhat mysteriously. It was very obvious that Arthur hoped for his return in the near future by baiting him with " unique items".

Sure enough, Xu Feng wasn’t one to say no to more unique items.

As he gracefully accepted the gesture and promised to return, a teleport waypoint was unlocked.

Known as the Phantasm Fish Base, Xu Feng could now automatically teleport here instead of requiring to swim or travel back here.

’This is so convenient.’ Xu Feng thought to himself. Although it seemed to be a surprise, it really wasn’t when the Phantasm Map on his warship had updated. Previously, the Phantasm Map detection range was low and barely had any light.

However, now the detection range has increased, and the area surrounding the Phantasm Fish region has been illuminated. He could see the sea monsters dwelling around and highlighted in a particular section.

’A beacon indeed,’ Xu Feng finally realized why even the Phantasm Map was limited in usage previously. It was missing some key components as well.

Sometime later, Xu Feng carried Burpe and placed him in a comfortable spot.

"Are you comfortable lying down here?" He asked softly.

Burpe nodded his head and cheered. "It’s comfortable."

Once Xu Feng confirmed he was comfortable, he feigned walking back to take control of the helm but instead chose to be relocated.

System Notification: You have accepted the relocation process! The system will soon undergo changes. You have three available places that you can be sent to until completion!

After the system prompt appeared, three more panels popped up for him to choose from.

One of them was naturally Evernight City, and the other one was his base city, Star Falls City.

What astonished him the most was the third place being Paradise Plains.

Paradise Plains hadn’t been open to the public since his last visit. It was quite a bit surprising that the system would permit him to enter there.

’With all the materials I’ve gathered in the inventory, visiting here might not be a bad idea.’ Xu Feng thought to himself. Having gotten such an option, he directly picked Paradise Plains as the place to be relocated.

The first two cities were something he could always access anyway.

System Notification: You have selected Paradise Plains as the destination of your relocation. You will soon be transported.

Xu Feng didn’t even get a chance to read the whole system prompt when he felt a mysterious force shrouding him. The force was so strong that he could no longer keep his eyes open.

As the force began to shift his position, Xu Feng instantly phased out of his current space and flew straight to the sky. Hovering the Phantasm Sea from above, all he saw were bodies of water splashing heavy waves. It was as if a tsunami was erupting.

"The changes are beginning already." His expression turned grave as he realized that once he returned, there was bound to be hell waiting for him.

Just as he was about to leave the region entirely, Xu Feng’s body jolted slightly from an unknown voice.

"Sea Traveler, how dare you try to meddle in our affair? I will never forgive you!"

He thought it was only going to be a voice, but in the next instance, an explosive wave of power surged from the underwater.

"You’ve got to be kidding me, right?" He twitched his brows in disbelief at a sudden attack. His body was currently restricted by the mysterious force, so he couldn’t even do anything about the incoming attack.

Thankfully, the attack was nullified by the force as well. The attack scattered and dissipated, but the unknown voice seemed disgruntled by its failed attack.

"Hmph, I shall order my minions to get you if you dare to set foot on the Phantasm Sea again!"

"Oh, please, where can one set foot in the sea? It’s all swimming!" Not one to let his enemy have the last word, Xu Feng made sure to jab at them.

Paradise Plains

After being launched by the system, Xu Feng didn’t expect he would be dropping from the sky literally.

"Goddamn system." He cursed and tried to keep himself airborne to prevent the fall damage that would outright kill him.

A few seconds later, Xu Feng managed to land safely on the ground without taking any fall damage.

He patted his clothes and grinned. ’Hmph, want to kill me with fall damage? What do you take me for?’

He wasn’t some newbie who would panic and fail to react in time. It would be embarrassing for him to die from fall damage.

Just when Xu Feng was about to make his way to greet Yaren, multiple footsteps echoed, which were soon followed by a loud command.

"Halt right there, intruder!" In the blink of an eye, the guards from Paradise Plains had Xu Feng completely surrounded, their weapons raised and pointed at him.

"Wait, I’m not some intruder." Xu Feng raised his hands up and said. "I came here before in the past as a competitor for the blacksmith competition."
