Reincarnation Games: Yukino's Mother Is Too Forward

Chapter 669 Completely Erased From This World

  • Next Chapter

Hearing Makoto's words, whether they were enemy Shinigami or allied Hollows, everyone was bewildered.

'What did 'completely erased from this world' mean?'

Makoto smiled and explained unhurriedly, "My Pochita's ability is complete erasure... not just physically eliminating an opponent's technique, but completely erasing that technique's existence from this world."

He turned to look at Yamamoto, who was still holding his forehead as if struck by something. "That Ennetsu Jigoku you used just now... after being struck by my blade, it has been erased from this world. In other words, that technique's existence will soon disappear from your memory as well. You will no longer be able to use it."

As soon as he said this, veteran Captains like Kyoraku and Ukitake stared wide-eyed in shock.

'How could such an ability exist?'

'Erasing a technique from the world?'

'This wasn't a matter of attack power anymore. This was a direct interference with the world's rules.'

"Erasing a technique from this world..."

Unohana quietly repeated Makoto's words. Then, as if struck by a thought, her pupils suddenly contracted as she looked back at Makoto. "Could it be..."

Makoto, in his Black Saw Form, grinned, revealing a mouthful of fangs, and Unohana's heart sank.

"That's right. Even a person's existence can be erased. Meaning that anyone I kill, all traces of them remaining in this world will vanish. As if they had never existed in the first place. And no one will think to avenge them."

Hearing this, a chill ran down everyone's spines.

Many of them were not afraid of death.

But more than death, they feared being forgotten. After all, wasn't the reason they fought tooth and nail to make the lives of their loved ones better?

If even the memories of them in their loved ones' hearts were erased, then what was the meaning of their existence?

Being forgotten by those you love... that was the most painful thing of all.

"Blah blah blah, are you done talking, brat?"

Just then, Yamamoto lowered his hand.

The confusion in his eyes was completely gone, replaced by a killing intent even more fierce and pure than before.

He could no longer remember Ennetsu Jigoku.

In his perception, Ryujin Jakka had never had that technique, and he had never used it against the enemy before him.

But for this thousand-year-strongest Shinigami, losing one Shikai technique wasn't a devastating blow.

Sensing the old man Yamamoto's Reiatsu rising once more, Kyoraku, Ukitake, and the others' expressions changed simultaneously.

They all guessed what their teacher was about to do.

"Don't think that just because you've awakened a Zanpakuto, you can do as you please! Ban—"

Clearly, Yamamoto was about to use his Bankai.

He had already realized just how dangerous Makoto's ability was.

If this power that could erase existence continued to grow, the consequences would be unimaginable.

Now that the opponent was standing right before him, he had to seize this opportunity to eliminate him, even if it meant risking his own Bankai being erased from the world as well.

"Forget it, old man."

But Makoto raised his hand to stop him.

The roar of the chainsaws gradually subsided.

"Going all out against you isn't the right time yet. If we're going to fight, let's do it next time, when both sides are fully prepared."

With that, Makoto withdrew from his Resurrección state, layer by layer.

The pitch-black scales covering his entire body receded like a tide. His four forearms merged back into two. The spikes on his shoulders and back retracted into his body.

Everyone noticed that his appearance had undergone a world of change from his previous Vasto Lorde form.

Now, Makoto's form was infinitely close to human... handsome features, clean and sharp facial lines.

Other than the white bone mask covering half his head and extending into a small chainsaw, he was no different from an ordinary human in every other aspect.

This was Makoto's Arrancar form.

"He's surprisingly good-looking."

The little girl Yachiru, perched on Zaraki's shoulder, tilted her head and commented, her big eyes sparkling innocently.

Ukitake quickly covered her mouth, his fingers trembling slightly. "What are you saying, you girl!"

Then, Yu opened a Garganta above and behind them. He stepped aside, clearing the path, and gave Makoto a slight nod.

Yamamoto stared at Makoto's back, his bloodshot eyes nearly bursting with rage.

But upon reflection, the Seireitei was indeed already in chaos.

Several Captains were missing, the 2nd Division's Captain had been captured, the 12th Division's Captain was the prime suspect, and nearly half of the Gotei 13's fighting strength had been lost.

At this critical moment, it truly wasn't the time for all-out war.

But just as Makoto stepped into the Garganta and was about to leave, he still asked, "Was the Hollowfication incident your doing?"

Makoto paused, turning halfway back.

"No."

Although Makoto never cared about what others thought of him, he had no interest in taking the blame for someone else.

Hearing this answer, many of the Captains and Lieutenants present exchanged glances.

Since he dared to deny it directly in front of the Captain-Commander and so many people,

There were only two possibilities:

Either he was telling the truth, and the mastermind behind the Hollowfication incident was indeed someone else...

Or he was lying, but there didn't seem to be any reason for him to do so.

'Could it really have been Urahara Kisuke?'

Although Makoto's lying couldn't be entirely ruled out,

A man who had just turned the Seireitei upside down seemed to have no reason to lie about something like this.

"Hey! Wait! Release Yoruichi-sama!"

Just then, Sui-Feng finally noticed Yoruichi trapped in Beam's Water Prison, being dragged into the Garganta.

Sui-Feng charged forward recklessly, her Zanpakuto already drawn, ready to forcibly rescue her beloved Yoruichi-sama from these Hollows.

But just before Sui-Feng could reach them, several massive beams of light shot down from the depths of the Garganta, enveloping Makoto and his group.

That was the Menos Grandes' exclusive ability for rescuing comrades... Negación.

Once enveloped by these beams, the inside and outside were already in completely different spatial dimensions, impossible to break through in a short time.

Even if Yamamoto himself acted, he couldn't touch those inside while Negación was active.

Sui-Feng's Zanpakuto struck the light wall of Negación, sending up a shower of sparks before being repelled.

On the other side of the Garganta, the many Hollows guarding Las Noches stood at the entrance's edge, grinning menacingly at the Gotei 13 below.

Finally, Makoto's group fully returned to Hueco Mundo through Negación.

The Garganta slowly closed in the night sky, leaving only the devastated Seireitei behind.

"Damn it!"

Isshin punched the broken wall beside him.

Tonight was perhaps the heaviest blow the Gotei 13 had suffered since its founding.

The 2nd Division's Captain had been captured. The Third, Fifth, Seventh, and 9th Division's Captains and Lieutenants were missing. The 10th Division's Captain's position was still vacant. The 12th Division's Captain was a prime suspect imprisoned for major crimes.

When you counted them up, nearly half of the Gotei 13's main force had been broken.

And all of this had happened in a single night.

"Captain-Commander!"

Just then, a tall, thin old man, seemingly not much younger than Yamamoto, wearing a Captain's Haori, hurried over.

It was the current Captain of the 6th Division, and also the current head of the Kuchiki Clan, one of the Four Great Noble Families... Kuchiki Ginrei.

"What is it?" Yamamoto asked, suppressing his anger.

Ginrei reported solemnly, "Over eighty percent of the Tsunayashiro Clan's members have been killed. It was definitely those Hollows."

As soon as he said this, everyone present was shocked.

The anger Yamamoto had just managed to suppress flared up again.
