Reincarnated With A Glitched System: Why Is My MP Not Running Out?

Chapter 1659 1659: Agua's New Physique

FLAAAASH!

The entire Oasis shone brightly out of nowhere, as the Sanctuary Crater began to rapidly glow in response. Aquarina and everyone else saw in surprise as several Water Spirits, Natural Spirits of the World, started becoming visible one by one.

They flew towards Agua while she was in her ritual and merged into her body constantly. They even felt the presence of the Great Oasis Spirit within them, as if she was responding to her “Evolution”!

As this happened, Agua’s entire body started to overflow with energies. Although her appearance changed very little, her tattoos spread through her arms and legs, and even a few areas around her neck and chest.

These tattoos were blue color, and resembled all kinds of aquatic animals, seashells, coral forests, and more, all of them beautifully detailed.

“W-What’s going on?!” Silvia asked while panicking.

“Oh wow, this ended working better than I imagined!” Aquarina was very happy. “It seems her physique absorbed a lot of the spirits of the surroundings, the spiritual energy, all of it!”

“My daughter…” Agua’s mother glanced at her daughter, as the cocoon of water slowly dissipated, revealing her body completely.

“Haah…” she slowly sighed in relief, opening her eyes, which had become bright blue and with a slight golden sparkle to them, her hair had become even longer as well. “What’s… what happened?”

“Agua! Congrats!” Her mother ran to her side, hugging her daughter tightly. “You managed to evolve your physique in the first try!”

“Oh, really? That quickly…!” Agua was surprised. “I-I owe this to everyone though, especially Aquarina… Without your support I wouldn’t had even managed to do it!”

“Well done!” Silvia said happily. “Now’s my turn though, right?”

“Yes, but after I finish checking on Agua’s progress, to make sure she advanced properly,” Aquarina explained.

She ran towards Agua, congratulating her, Silvia and Justicio followed her right away, while Pyuku, who had joined them midway through breakfast, also went with them.

“Cultivation is sure something amazing…” He thought. “I wonder if one day I could get a physique… My body is strange though. I should be grateful I managed to get a magic circle, and that was so painful already… Perhaps slime bodies are too unstable to forge a physique.”

“Agua! Well done!”

Aquarina hugged Agua alongside Aguarapida, both squeezed the poor girl with their huge arms, making her grow red due to the lack of oxygen.

“Eek! P-Please don’t hug me so strongly… I might have gotten a physique but I am still not as strong as you two…” She cried.

“A-Ah, sorry dear…” her mother gasped, quickly letting go of her daughter.

“Aw come on, you got stronger right?” Aquarina giggled, as she patted her head.

“I-I think so…” Agua nodded. “I do feel stronger… And… Um, I think there’s something weird inside of me, like a bubble? In my… Wait, is that my Soul? I can feel my own Soul now?!”

“When you create a familiar contract with a spirit or another creature, your Soul Aperture opens, giving birth to the Soulscape, where Familiars can stay indefinitely in their ethereal forms. Even familiars that aren’t spirits will become ethereal and remain there, feeding mostly on your mana for sustenance.” Nepheline walked there and explained the ropes.

“If you can feel your Soul, it means you’ve contracted with a Spirit…” Shade said. “I think this same thing happened with Justicio, right?”

“Ah yes, sir!” Nodded Justicio. “My Spirit Goldie, I got him through the same Ritual Aquarina used with me… It is an Alchemy Spirit, technically… Although its elements are Metal and Earth, and it is connected to my Physique, he might grow as my Physique develops, and viceversa, perhaps.”

“I see…” Agua nodded. “So this… Ah, there! Ugh, please get out!”

Agua tried a bit, until she finally nailed it, and her Spirit emerged, resembling a beautiful hermit crab of white and red color, wearing a spiraling sea snail shell made of rainbow spirit crystals, and it also had a pair of long, fluorescent eyes.

“Gyuuuh?!”

The spirit looked around confused at the people in front of it, and it instantly covered its face in embarrassment, looking adorable.

“Woah, what beauty!” Agua’s mother admired the Spirit. “Well done Agua, Aquarina! This is perfect! I’m so happy she finally got a Spirit after so long!”

“For some reason the spirits never approached me for a contract… So I had lost hope,” Agua sighed. “Which is rare, mom always say I am beloved by the spirits, so why?”

“Perhaps they were too intimidated by your Aura,” explained Nepheline. “You’re blessed by the strongest spirit here, so they might even assume she’s your spirit and won’t even try to make a contract with you… But maybe once they see this little one, they will see you in a different light. Hopefully.”

“H-Hopefully, yeah…” Agua nodded while looking a bit hopeless at times, but then smiled and quickly changed her attitude. She knew that after this, she simply couldn’t allow herself to look down on her own efforts. She was strong! “You’re right, auntie Nepheline. Anyway, I’m so grateful! Thank you Aquarina! Thank you so much!”

Agua hugged Aquarina back, while her little spirit started pinching her ears.

“Hahah… I-It’s okay…” Aquarina felt embarrassed. “And- Ouch! Hey, why are you pinching my ears?! That hurt like hell!”

“D-Don’t do that!” Agua told the Spirit, who looked a bit jealous, squinting its huge eyes.

It seemed to be an overly protective spirit that didn’t like their master touching anybody else… A rather problematic creature, without a shred of a doubt.

“So what name are you giving to it?” Justicio asked.

“Oh yeah! You have to give it a name!” Silvia said.

“Something easy to remember,” Pyuku said.

“Hmmm…” Agua began to think. “Shelly!”

“Gyyuhhh!” Shelly suddenly glowed brightly, becoming a bit larger, and gaining two more pincers.

“I-It became larger?!” Justicio wondered.

“It seems that giving it a name right away might’ve let it absorb the rest of its powers,” explained Aquarina. “And also establish the contract fully… Something you missed on doing because you took so long naming Goldie.”

“A-Ah…” Justicio felt a bit disappointed on himself. “Well, whatever.”

“Alright, now I’m curious about your Physique itself!” Aquarina said. “What you got is… a Spiritual Physique, isn’t it?”

“Y-Yeah! I think so…” Agua glanced at her hands, as they suddenly slowly turned ethereal and liquid-like.

Until out of nowhere, both of her arms turned into pure, spiritual water essence!

FLUOSH!

“W-Woah?!”

Indeed, her Physique had become like the body of a Water Spirit!
