Adam confirmed.

The window in front of him vanished instantly.

In its place appeared a huge, luminous wheel.

Unlike previous readings, the colors that composed it were far more impressive.

White.

Blue.

Purple.

Orange.

Gold.

For a fraction of a second, Adam could make out several symbols associated with the rewards.

Weapons.

Books.

Crystals.

Cards.

Objects he didn’t even recognize.

Then the wheel began to spin.

Slowly at first.

Then faster and faster.

The symbols blended together until they became impossible to distinguish.

Adam watched the movement intently.

"Let’s see if a thousand points are really worth the difference..."

The wheel slowed down.

Orange passed before him.

Then purple.

Blue.

Purple again.

And finally...

She froze.

On a golden reward.

Adam sat up immediately.

"Already?"

A small gem appeared before him.

It was barely the size of his thumbtip and resembled a perfectly transparent crystal with faint golden reflections.

A window appeared with it.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Reward Obtained

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Minor Luck Gem

Type: Permanent Enhancement Item

Effect:

Luck +1

Special Feature:

Luck is a fixed stat.

*It is impossible to directly allocate Stat Points to it.

*Methods capable of permanently increasing it are extremely rare.

*Some effects can temporarily modify Luck, but permanent increases are exceptional.

The Minor Luck Gem permanently increases the user’s Luck stat by 1 point.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Adam reread the description.

And then again.

"Wait..."

He had always found it strange that he couldn’t spend his Stat Points on Luck.

Until now, he had simply accepted that it worked differently from other attributes.

But this description confirmed something important.

Luck wasn’t just difficult to increase.

It was normally fixed.

This made the small gem far more valuable than its appearance suggested.

Adam took it between his fingers.

"A permanent boost to a stat that can’t normally be improved..."

The Superior Draw had already earned him several points in his estimation.

He used the gem.

The crystal transformed into a fine golden dust that permeated his body.

No dramatic sensation.

No surge of power.

Only a brief warmth.

Then a notification.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Stats Modified

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Luck: 12 → 13

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Adam smiled.

"Good start."

He immediately spun the second spin.

A thousand new Satisfaction Points vanished.

The wheel spun again.

This time, Adam tried to keep up with the rewards at first, but quickly gave up when the symbols started flashing by at an absurd speed.

After a few seconds...

The wheel slowed down.

Blue.

Purple.

Orange.

It passed slightly beyond.

For a moment, Adam thought it was going to land on blue.

Then the movement stopped just before.

Orange.

Adam sat bolt upright.

"Again?"

An orange light flooded his vision.

But no object materialized.

Instead...

A book appeared.

The book almost immediately transformed into particles that remained suspended in front of Adam.

A notification popped up.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Skill Book

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Kamasutra

Rank: Orange

Grade: Unique

Level 1

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Adam stared at the name.

For a long time.

For a very long time.

His expression became strange.

"...Seriously?"

He looked out the window.

Then around him.

As if he almost expected to discover someone hiding somewhere.

No one.

"System..."

Silence.

Adam narrowed his eyes.

"I feel like you’re trying to send me a message."

Obviously, no reply.

He hesitated nonetheless before opening the description.

Then his eyes gradually changed.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Kamasutra - Level 1

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Rank: Orange

Grade: Unique

Type: Sexual Growth Skill

Effects:

During sexual intercourse between partners, this skill creates a resonance between their bodies.

Partner with lower stats:

*Gains the most growth.

*The greater the stat difference with the more powerful partner, the greater the potential for growth.

Partners of comparable power:

*Both partners can experience significant growth.

Partner with the highest stats:

*Can also benefit from progression, but this is generally less significant when the gap between the two partners is large.

Additional effect of the holder:

*Unlimited sexual stamina.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Adam was no longer joking.

He slowly reread each line.

Then his mind automatically did what it always did.

He calculated.

Selene.

Isadora.

Vespera.

Shiora.

Elaria.

Lyriana.

Elena.

Their stats were far superior to his.

Some to an almost ridiculous degree.

Which meant that, according to the description...

Adam would currently be the one benefiting the most from the growth effect.

And even they weren’t excluded.

They would simply receive less as long as the gap remained significant.

But the more Adam progressed...

The closer their stats would become.

And when their levels truly began to converge, the benefit would become more balanced.

Adam sat in silence.

"Unique Orange..."

He was beginning to understand why.

It wasn’t just a personal skill.

It was potentially a skill capable of contributing to the progression of their entire group over the very long term.

And it also possessed an almost absurd synergy with the current power difference between him and his companions.

Adam looked at the name again.

Then the description.

Then the name again.

"...I take it back."

A smile appeared on his face.

"The name is strange, but the ability is monstrous."

He learned the ability immediately.

The orange particles entered his body.

A wave of abstract knowledge accompanied the integration, but Adam preferred to postpone its detailed analysis for later.

Far below in his immediate priorities was one question.

Why did the System give me this now?

He shook his head.

"No. I probably don’t want to know the answer."

His enthusiasm for the Superior Draw, however, had just increased considerably.

He spun the third card.

This time, the wheel landed on a card.

Adam immediately recognized its general appearance.

"A card related to the Chamber?"

It vaguely resembled the Bridal Chamber card.

But its illustration was different.

A simple, dark door surrounded by gold lines.

Adam opened its description.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Expansion Card

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Bridal Chamber Door

Type: Permanent Extension

Effect:

Allows you to install a Permanent Bridal Chamber Door in a designated wall.

A Permanent Door becomes a fixed entry and exit point connected to the Bridal Chamber.

Different permanent points can communicate throughout the Chamber space.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Adam sat up straight immediately.

"Oh..."

This time, he understood its purpose even before he had finished reading.

Until now, remote access via the Rings of Promise had been extremely convenient.

A companion could reach the Bridal Chamber from practically anywhere.

But personal access didn’t automatically transform the point of origin into a permanent shared passageway.

This map completely changed the situation.

Adam reread the information carefully.

Then he thought about their journey.

Astraea.

The elven territories.

The World Tree.

He looked at the map.

"This is exactly what we needed." "

If he installed this gate in a secure location at Astraea’s...

They would suddenly have two permanent access points.

Valoria.

And the elven territory.

Someone could enter from the manor...

Cross the Bridal Chamber...

Then emerge at Astraea’s.

Or travel in the opposite direction.

The actual distance between the two regions would practically cease to matter.

And most importantly...

Astraea herself could come to Valoria without having to abandon her post at the World Tree for several days.

She could cross over.

Settle whatever she needed to settle.

Then return almost immediately.

Adam remained silent, realizing the magnitude of the task.

This world was immense.

Much larger than the Earth he knew.

Some distances were measured in weeks or months of travel.

The roads could cross wild territories."

Monster-infested areas.

Unstable political borders.

Regions where ordinary means of transportation were inadequate.

But if Adam obtained more gates like these...

Valoria.

Elven kingdoms.

Dwarven territories.

Oni domains.

Beastman territories.

Perhaps even one day the dragon lands.

A true instant travel infrastructure could appear around the Bridal Chamber.

Adam carefully put the map away.

"This one’s coming with me the day after tomorrow."

No doubt about it.

He rolled the fourth time.

The wheel spun.

Slowed down.

Then stopped.

A much less impressive notification appeared.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Reward Earned

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

+3 Stat Points

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Adam stared out the window.

"...Okay."

After a Luck Gem.

A Unique Orange Skill.

And a Dimensional Gate...

Three points seemed almost disappointing.

Then he pulled himself together.

"I’m really getting picky."

Three Stat Points remained three Stat Points.

He kept them like the previous ones.

His available total thus increased to twelve.

Fifth spin.

The wheel landed on purple.

This time, a small object appeared in his palm.

A pendant.

It was entirely white.

Its overall shape resembled a shield, with a small engraved heart in the center.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Pendant of Sacrifice

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Rank: Purple

Grade: Epic

Type: Protective Artifact

Effect:

Can prevent a normally fatal attack from killing its wearer.

After activation, the protective effect is consumed.

Binding Condition:

Place a drop of blood on the engraved heart to identify its owner.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Adam immediately stopped thinking of the purple as a bad reward.

"An extra life..."

Not exactly.

The artifact didn’t make him invincible.

It only prevented one fatal event.

But in a world where some monsters could kill an adventurer before they even understood what was happening...

A second chance could change everything.

He examined the pendant carefully.

The material didn’t resemble any ordinary metal.

For the moment, he didn’t bind it.

He preferred to discuss it with the others before deciding who should wear it.

Adam put it away.

Sixth draw.

Purple again.

This time a small box appeared containing ten perfectly identical vials.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Major Stamina Potion ×10

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Rank: Purple

Grade: Epic

Effect:

Significantly restores physical stamina and greatly reduces accumulated fatigue.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

"Not bad."

Adam took a vial.

The liquid inside was a slightly golden red.

A major potion was still extremely valuable.

But after the previous rewards...

He couldn’t help but be slightly less impressed.

Especially because he would have much preferred...

"The recipe."

Ordinary potions were reproducible.

The recipes for low, minor, standard, and medium levels were relatively well-known among true alchemists.

But at the major level, things changed.

A large part of the brewing methods had been lost.

The remaining major, superior, and supreme potions often came from old stockpiles, incomplete books, dungeons, or ruins.

Owning ten potions was useful.

Knowing how to brew them...

That was something else entirely.

Adam put the box away.

Then he rolled the seventh time.

The wheel spun.

He watched it distractedly.

Purple passed by.

Orange.

Then purple again.

It stopped.
