Reincarnated as a Half-God with SSS Abilities
Chapter 264: 3.21 TLOC (11)
Zander wished he didn't spend so much time flying the previous night. Sleeping on Earth was not like sleeping in his family's peaceful personal realm in Paradise. The sounds of trees rustling in the wind, the chirping of insects, and birds singing softly in the morning kept him up most of the night. He felt tired, something he never felt before.
'Well that was not enjoyable,' he thought as he got out of bed and went for a run.
'I miss home but I have to do this because I love this planet and its people! I always have, even as a boy.'
The morning air helped, but Earth's gravity and wind would take time getting used to. He got home, took a shower, ate breakfast and grabbed his cell phone.
'Ok how do I work this thing? I've watched the people of Earth do it all the time. It can't be that hard.'
He set up his pin, used the internet to find videos on how to use it and realized he had a problem. He didn't have a single contact. The only information he had was the programmed address to the Royal 5's meeting but that was 10 hours from now.
He played around on his phone, downloaded some apps and read the news. The faeries and vampires were fighting as were demons and elves. Zander noticed the humans liked to third party their enemies, swooping in at the last minute to win each battle.
"Dirty tactic," he angrily scoffed.
The hours dragged. Paradise's time flew more slowly than Earth's. The problem was they all felt the same. Around 18:45 Zander thought of the location and teleported to it.
"Oh, you scared me." A young woman said.
"I'm so sorry." Zander said awkwardly.
"It's totally fine and how do I have the pleasure of meeting—wait, those golden eyes… you're a god!" She exclaimed.
The young woman stared at Zander in amazement, trying to imagine what a god was doing on Earth when everyone knew Athena's rules. Her blonde hair and blue eyes suited her beautiful frame, and next to him, she looked petite.
"Who are you and why are you here?"
"I am going to the Royal fives' meeting and I am Zander, son of Athena, sent to assist Earth," Zander said confidently.
'Her green body means she's a great person, but her head is a mix of fear, worry and sadness. That's odd.'
The woman gasped. "What do you mean help Earth?"
"I am here to unite the races and stop the war." Zander smiled, still speaking very formally.
The woman's excitement started to show in her face, but Zander already knew from seeing the emotional changes in her head. Hope and happiness now swirled around with her original emotions.
"They aren't here yet, but feel free to follow me and I'll get you a seat, my name is Jessica and I am the person sworn to secrecy to schedule and host these meetings."
"That sounds like a difficult job with a lot of pressure. Do they treat you well?"
Zander frowned as he saw the sadness floating around in her head. He knew the answer before she spoke.
"Yes of course they do! Here, take this seat for now I'll grab you another."
'Why is she lying?'
*****
Jessica pulled out another fancy chair and placed it next to Zander and took a seat. The table was a hexagon with a giant touch screen tablet in front of each seat. In the middle of the table was a large display screen and Zander wondered what they could possibly talk about.
Zander noticed each chair had a name embroidered in the back. He mentally noted each of them.
'Faeries: Fleur Briarose
Demons - Alistair Nightwing
Elves - Theron Silverthorn
Humans - Bryson Watson
Vampires - Verde Grimoire'
Promptly at 19:00, the five seats filled with the guests, which confused Zander.
'How did they show up like that?'
They all darted their eyes at Zander, who quickly stood up and equipped his armor and drew his weapon, pointing it at the human, Bryson Watson, who had a jet black hue in his body.
"This one needs to die." Zander said sternly.
The table gasped and Zander noted everyone else's color quickly.
Bryson laughed. "And who might you be?"
"I am Zander, son of Hephaestus and Athena, sworn to unite Earth under my Mother's blessing and you have the soul of someone who belongs in the Underworld."
The table was silent. No one moved. Everyone glanced at Zander. Fleur blushed and smiled, Alistair looked bored, Theron was happy and Verde frowned.
"What evidence do you have against me? On Earth we have a system where you are innocent until proven guilty. You are out of line and interfering with our meeting. Does anyone else agree?"
"Welcome Zander, thank you for your assistance," Fleur said politely, bowing slightly.
Zander smiled. 'No wonder she has a white internal color. She seems like an amazing woman and is very beatiful.'
"I say this is an unfortunate circumstance. If the gods have already lost faith in us, what business do we have telling him that he is wrong?" Alistair said, yawning afterwards.
'Cyan. He's a good person.'
"Are you really going to execute one of the Royal five on your first night on Earth? You can't be much older than 18." Verde said softly.
'Another great person. Green again, like Jessica.'
"I say off with the human's head. I am sick and tired of them coming in at the last minute just to persecute and kill whoever was battling. As the king of the elves, we are sick of being hunted and executed by the humans so do as you please Zander. We will find a replacement," Theron said sternly.
'Two good. One great. One purely great. What to do with the purely evil one,' Zander thought, sword still steadily pointed across the table at Bryson.
It wasn't big enough to reach him, but still nearly five feet long and two feet wide. The room glanced at each other with anticipation. Was a god really going to kill a member of the royal 5 off a split second impression?
"Jessica, please tell them I have no evidence against me and just because we are opportunistic doesn't mean we are evil. It's just a smart strategy," Bryson calmly pleaded.
"He is right. There is no evidence that suggests he is evil or that anything shou—"
Zander's sword flew through the air directly through Bryson's heart, then slowly faded away into Zander's dimensional space.
'An extension of my body. All I had to think was aim, point and release. Then it was imagining it in my dimensional space,' Zander thought with a wide grin as Bryson gasped for air before falling forward, bleeding all over the table.
There were screams, gasps, laughs and a cheer.
Zander opened a portal behind Bryson, used his magic to toss him to the Underworld and snapped his fingers, closing the door. Everything happened so quickly and blood was splattered all over the table and back wall.
"I think you're going to need to recruit someone Jessica," Fleur said politely while looking into Zander's eyes with a kind smile and pink cheeks.
"Thank you Zander. Now please sit and tell us all about yourself!"
