Chapter 611: Chapter 465: Space-time Trap

At first, Quentin Pryce was gloating, constantly enlarging the Fireball in his hand. But the longer he kept it up, the smaller and slower its growth became.

If it grew beyond the limits of his control, he would lose his grip on the Fireball completely.

The Golden Crow’s Fireball, in contrast, started slow. But the longer it continued, the faster it expanded, until it had steadily begun to surpass Quentin Pryce’s.

Quentin Pryce’s expression turned grim as raw hatred surged within him. Gritting his teeth, he continued to pour his superpower into the massive Fireball.

The Crown Prince and the civet had long since vanished from the Golden Crow’s back, but the scene was so chaotic that no one had noticed. Quentin Pryce only realized this when the captives behind him were unshackled and began fleeing into the wilderness surrounding Morhaven.

One could only imagine the fury on Quentin Pryce’s face. But just then, the energy in his Fireball began to wane—not by his own will, but because the Golden Crow’s flame was siphoning it away.

"My superpower! It’s draining my Fire Ability!"

Flora Bloom and Lex Cross exchanged a look, seizing the opportunity. "Kill him!"

The Golden Crow was a powerful being with aerial superiority. And while it hadn’t reached the War God Level, not all expressions of the Fire Element are created equal.

True Sun Fire suppresses all other flames.

Lex Cross vanished from sight. Aided by his Devouring Power, he rapidly closed in on Quentin Pryce.

The black sword of the Cross family’s ancestor had been in Lex Cross’s hands ever since he killed Levi Seymour. The sword’s own devouring ability, amplified by Lex’s superpower, instantly engulfed Quentin Pryce in black energy.

A War God Level superpower user should wield world-shattering power in cosmic battles. However, the Cross family specialized in combat, and the true strength of the Devouring Power lay in its ability to consume all external energy.

No form of energy could get past the Devouring Power to reach Lex Cross.

Enveloped by the Devouring Power, Lex Cross’s Thunder Element attacks became even more ferocious. With his Fire Ability suppressed by the Golden Crow, Quentin Pryce’s combat strength as a War God plummeted. Facing Lex’s fierce assault, he was defeated in an instant.

The great families had initially feared that Quentin Pryce’s superpower would detonate. But seeing that both the Golden Crow and Lex Cross were completely focused on him, they realized Flora Bloom was now alone.

Their target had always been Flora Bloom. They only found themselves in opposition because the Cross family had sided with her. The chance to avoid a direct confrontation with Lex Cross was more than they could have hoped for.

And so, the crowd that had retreated beyond the city’s entrance now wheeled around for a surprise attack, completely surrounding the isolated Flora Bloom.

"Hahaha, Flora Bloom! You people killed my grandfather! It’s time for payback!"

"Jude Seymour, why are you wasting your breath on her? Don’t forget what we’re really here for!" Aaron Rook’s expression was grim. Though Flora Bloom appeared to be alone, his cautious nature kept him on guard for any surprises.

"Everyone, go! Kill this woman! We can sort out who gets the Divine-level Space Fragment after it drops!" The speaker was Rong San. ’All that matters is that the Cross family doesn’t get it.’

The remaining teams—from the Seymour, Joyce, Acker, Pryce, and Rook families—were each led by at least one Nebula Level superpower user. They all charged Flora Bloom at once, believing that if they surrounded her and unleashed a barrage of attacks, she would be finished.

However, a loud buzzing suddenly erupted from the forest behind them. A moment later, someone screamed and collapsed.

A long, bloody gash was carved into the man’s neck, so deep that his head was nearly severed.

"What was that?!" Rong San abruptly twisted away, nimbly dodging an attack that came from nowhere.

He thought he had been fast, but he was still hit.

Clutching his neck with one hand, he fired a blast of his superpower with the other, but it hit nothing.

The buzzing grew louder. A dark, oppressive cloud of mutated bees descended, each one larger than a man’s head. The swarm moved like a well-trained army, divided into squads of a hundred, each led by a "worker captain"—a worker bee that had mutated from long-term exposure to royal jelly.

All the mutated bees were under the command of a single queen bee at the rear of the swarm.

And that queen, in turn, was controlled by Flora Bloom.

Flora Bloom’s command to them was simple: kill. Kill without stopping. Kill every last outsider who had come to steal the treasure.

The members of the Pryce family were born with the Fire Attribute, the superpower the mutated bees feared most. But Flora Bloom’s Water Ability was now at the Cosmic Level, giving her absolute dominion over these Fire Tribe members, whose powers peaked at the Nebula Level.
