Chapter 590: Chapter 458: Fighting Levi Seymour

Ten people were guarding the third floor.

But just before Flora Bloom and the others were about to enter, she was overcome by a terrible premonition.

"Lex, I don’t know if it’s just my imagination, but I feel like we got in way too easily. And... do you feel it too? Even though there are only ten guards here, I feel like a pair of eyes is watching us."

Lex Cross didn’t say anything.

He had always been confident in his strength. At the Cosmic Level, he was unrivaled below the rank of War God—not just on a minor planet like Earth, but even within the Star Nation of the Ancient Universe.

"Could you be overthinking things?" His devouring power spread out. "I don’t sense anything out of the ordinary... Wait!"

"Boss? What’s wrong?"

"Saul, check again. Where is Jude Seymour right now?"

Flora Bloom also extended her own spiritual power.

There wasn’t a single Planet Level superpower user in the entire building.

"Huh? He was definitely here a moment ago! Could he have left?"

"It was too easy for us to get in through the roof. The security for the whole building, for every single floor, is so tight, yet the rooftop was left wide open. It looks like we underestimated the enemy," Flora Bloom mused, her brow furrowed.

"But there’s no way they could have detected us."

"Flora, it might be a trap, but for now, the plan is to rescue your father and the others first. We’ll find out where Shauna Wallace is after that."

"Sister-in-law, I agree. Even if there is a conspiracy, with your strength and the boss’s, a small trap like this is nothing in the face of absolute power!"

"I suppose that’s our only option."

The four of them reached the third floor. With a single thunderclap from Lex Cross, the ten guards collapsed instantly, alive but unconscious. But when Flora Bloom absorbed all ten into her personal space, her expression changed drastically.

"We’ve been exposed! There’s a master here! Lex, speed up! We need to get my father and the others out first!"

"What’s going on?"

"These ten people have already pledged allegiance to a master, one with a high-level personal space. In the Seymour family, are there any masters at the Cosmic Level or above who possess an internal space?"

"The Seymour family’s current head, Jude Seymour’s grandfather, Levi Seymour!" Lex Cross answered immediately.

"Levi Seymour is nearly at the War God Level. Hasn’t he been in seclusion?" Saul Sterling asked.

Lex Cross snorted. "It seems the Seymour family’s ambition is growing."

Flora Bloom pushed the door open and went inside. Caleb Bloom and the others showed little surprise at the arrival of Flora’s group. This only deepened the bad feeling in their stomachs.

"Dad, Brother, Old Monroe, Old Lynch, follow me out of here!"

Caleb Bloom and the others just glanced at one another, hesitating as if they wanted to speak but couldn’t.

Lex Cross tugged on Flora Bloom’s arm. "Flora, something’s not right!"

"Those men outside had already pledged themselves to a master. Could it be that my father and the others have too...?" Flora Bloom grit her teeth so hard they felt like they might crack. Pledging allegiance meant betrayal was impossible; with a single thought from their master, a person bearing the imprint would die instantly.

Meanwhile, inside Flora Bloom’s personal space, the ten men who had been imprinted by another’s internal space were now the subject of a struggle between her own spatial imprint and the one already inside them.

This battle of imprints was, in reality, a war of attrition. Victory would go to whoever had the most abundant supply of Space Spiritual Energy.

Judging by the state of the imprints inside these ten men, her victory was certain.

However, just as Flora Bloom believed she was about to overcome the old imprints and rebrand the ten men as her own, they suddenly convulsed, then silently collapsed and died within her space.

Even Flora Bloom’s life-saving spiritual water was useless. It was a death of the soul. They couldn’t be saved.

"Dad, you all..." Caleb Bloom wanted to say something, but he suddenly clutched his head and began to writhe on the ground.

Seeing her father writhing in agony on the floor, Flora Bloom couldn’t bear it any longer.

"Dad, don’t talk! Just don’t talk!"

Caleb Bloom clutched his head, which had turned a deep crimson. Veins bulged on his scalp, and blood began to seep from his skin as it also streamed from his eyes and nose.

Joel Bloom watched his father in anguish. He looked up as if to say something to Flora Bloom, but she shouted him down. "Don’t say it! All of you, shut up!"

"Saul, is there any way to find that Cosmic Level expert?!"

"If it really is the Seymour family’s Head, Levi Seymour, then I can’t pinpoint his location! If my father were here, maybe he could!"

Suddenly, the cry of the Golden Crow echoed from high above. Flora Bloom received its message and her heart leaped with joy. "Your father is here!"

At that moment, Solomon Sterling was seated atop a steed similar to Shadow, looking down from the sky. The Golden Crow hovered nearby, flapping its wings but not daring to get closer.

The jet-black steed was another of Shadow’s offspring. Solomon Sterling was now mounted on its back, directly above the building where Flora Bloom and her group were trapped.
