Chapter 2502: Chapter 2502: Stay At My House For Now

"Let’s go to my house first tonight." Tang Jin Wei suggested.

"What? Your house?" Su Ke Ke was surprised.

"Hmm... Let’s think about the solution tomorrow. You need to rest." Tang Jin Wei said.

In the end, Su Ke Ke left the scooter at the convenience store and followed Tang Jin Wei home. When they arrived home, they encountered Grandpa Tang, who was still awake. He raised his eyebrow when he saw Su Ke Ke.

"Your grandfather seems fine letting me stay here." Su Ke Ke commented.

She understood that she was not his first girlfriend. He probably brought other girls in the past. Thinking about that made her heart irk a little.

"Long Hui often came and stayed for a night." Tang Jin Wei said.

"Why?" Tang Jin Wei noticed that Su Ke Ke seemed to be behaving strangely.

"I thought you brought other girls home before." Su Ke Ke said.

"What? No! Never!" Tang Jin Wei immediately denied it.

"Darling, believe me. I never bring another woman home. And I never introduce another woman to my family as I have done to you. You are the first." Tang Jin Wei said.

"Really?" Su Ke Ke asked.

"Yes." Tang Jin Wei nodded.

Su Ke Ke and Tang Jin Wei looked at each other. Then, they heard a cough. Both of them turned to look. It was Grandpa Hang who coughed. Both of them turned red as they knew that their conversation had been heard by Grandpa Hang.

"Young Master Jin Wei, the room for Miss Su has been prepared. It is beside Young Miss Yu Qi’s room." Grandpa Hang said.

"Thank you, Grandpa Hang." Tang Jin Wei said.

"By the way, Miss Su, Young Master Jin Wei is telling the truth. He never brings a girl home. You are the first one." Grandpa Hang said before leaving.

"Grandpa Hang!" Tang Jin Wei was embarrassed by being mentioned like that.

Su Ke Ke could not help but smile.

"Well, let’s go to your room first." Tang Jin Wei said.

Both of them went to the room.

"Here is the room." Tang Jin Wei said.

"Thank you." Su Ke Ke said.

The next day, Tang Jin Wei told the hospital that Su Ke Ke was taking medical leave. She was having a fever.

Su Ke Ke did not realise it in the first place. Tang Jin Wei was the one who noticed it. He saw that Su Ke Ke’s face was flushed red, and she seemed to be unstable when she was walking.

Tang Jin Wei touched Su Ke Ke’s forehead and felt the warmth. He knew that his darling was having a fever. He immediately told Su Ke Ke to take a day off and rest.

Tang Jin Wei brought breakfast and medicine for Su Ke Ke. After Su Ke Ke took the medicine, she fell asleep.

Tang Jin Wei went down and told Ming Yue about what happened to Su Ke Ke today and yesterday. Ming Yue also frowned as she heard about what Su Ke Ke’s family had done to the girl.

"That girl really suffers from her family’s doing." Ming Yue said.

Ming Yue noticed how Su Ke Ke’s mother treated Su Ke Ke, but she did not know it was this bad.

"Mom... I can not take a day off today because I have a scheduled surgery. I hope you can take care of Ke Ke for me today." Tang Jin Wei requested his mother.

"Don’t worry. I am not an evil mother-in-law. I will take care of her." Ming Yue said.

Tang Jin Wei left to work. Ming Yue went to check Su Ke Ke. The girl was still sleeping. She wiped Su Ke Ke’s face with a wet towel.

Even though Su Ke Ke was sleeping, she could feel the warmth. This was her first time feeling this way. Her mother never treated her like this whenever she was sick. Her mother just told her to lie down and deal with the sickness herself.

One time, she was sick, and no one was around. She was crying until she fainted. When she regained her consciousness, she heard her mother and brother were speaking about their shopping trip. She fainted for the second time that day. This warmth was something that she desired but never had.

After that, someone came to Ming Yue, telling Ming Yue that the security guards at the gate told him that they were Ming Yue’s future in-laws. They wanted to come in and talk to Ming Yue about the marriage. Ming Yue knew who they were. So, she told the guards to let them in.

Fang Lifen, Su Jinhai and Su Jinxiu were stunned when they arrived in front of the Tang Family Residence. The house was big. They were really envious of the Tang Family.
