"You guys are really slow. If you don’t come soon, we won’t wait for you." Chu Molin had been sent by Qin Xue to check if people had arrived. After looking twice, he lost his patience. They were just too slow, and that was really not good.

"Big Brother." Ye Li called out to Chu Molin.

"Come on in, where’s Lele?" Chu Molin hadn’t seen his sister-in-law. Surely she hadn’t gotten lost, right? If that were the case, his wife would be worried sick.

"She went over there with Shushu. Not sure what they’re doing." Ye Li also had no idea where Qin Jiale and Ye Zishu went; they just headed over that way. He figured it was near her sister’s house, so he didn’t concern himself too much; surely they wouldn’t get lost over such a short distance.

Ye Li was right about that; Qin Jiale wouldn’t get lost. She felt her period coming and remembered there was a small store nearby, so she took Ye Zishu to buy some sanitary pads.

But Ye Li is a guy, and she was embarrassed to have him follow, so she let him go back first. Seeing her somewhat awkward expression, Ye Li didn’t insist on going along. Later, he could ask Shushu, that young girl, and find out where they went. Ye Li planned to use some roundabout tactics.

"No idea." Ye Li recalled that halfway through, his father went ahead. He didn’t know where he went. And since this was his territory, he wouldn’t get lost. Somehow, he felt there might be things they didn’t want him to know, so he didn’t press further. He had them come over, and they did.

"Lele, what do you want to buy?" Ye Zishu looked at Qin Jiale, who was browsing around the store, not knowing what she was searching for.

"I want to buy that." Qin Jiale blushed looking at Ye Zishu, who had just asked her.

"Which one?" Ye Zishu asked Qin Jiale puzzledly; she hadn’t made it clear, so how would she know what "that" referred to?

"That thing girls need every month." Qin Jiale’s face was completely red. Although Ye Zishu was also a girl, she still found such private matters embarrassing.

"Oh, you mean that? Are you... here?" Ye Zishu looked at Qin Jiale. At her uncle’s house, she hadn’t mentioned it; otherwise, she would have given her some of her own. Although Ye Zishu hadn’t gotten hers yet, she was prepared.

If Qin Jiale had said something, she would have given her some, since this sort of thing is something all girls understand and wouldn’t feel embarrassed about.
