Chapter 2330: Chapter 2324: Side Effects of Eating Alone

Each person at the dining table had their thoughts. Qin Yu glanced at them and didn’t say anything. He knew his sister well; she was definitely not the kind of person who says one thing to your face and another behind your back. So if she said she had already eaten, she definitely had.

Therefore, Qin Yu wasn’t bothered by this and continued eating his meal quietly.

Qin Jiale originally felt a little uneasy, but her nephew’s interruption made her forget why she was uneasy in the first place.

"Alright, eat more if you like it. Eating heartily will help you grow taller." Qin Jiale served them more food. The three children were adorable, and seeing them made her happy.

"No need to thank me. If your mom isn’t eating, let’s finish it all, okay?" Qin Jiale looked at her sister; it seemed like she really did eat a lot before sleeping because she noticed her sister occasionally rubbing her stomach. How much did she eat to still feel full now?

Could it be that her sister went straight to bed after eating, causing indigestion and bloating?

Thinking about this, Qin Jiale decided that she needed to make a bowl of hawthorn water for her sister to drink later. Otherwise, she’d feel increasingly uncomfortable and might not feel like eating for days.

Her sister, Qin Xue, wasn’t aware of what her little sister was thinking. So when she saw her little sister bringing her a bowl of light red soup, she was almost moved to tears.

Now the whole family was earnestly eating the meal. The dishes were really good, so besides Qin Xue and Chu Molin, who ate less, the sibling pair and the three children finished all the dishes on the table.

"Whew, I’m stuffed." Qin Jiale was the first to shout out, feeling uncomfortable from eating too much. It seemed that later on, not only did she need to make hawthorn water for her sister, but the whole family would need a bowl each.

Once she had the idea, Qin Jiale took quick action, teaming up with her brother to quickly clean up the dishes and then brew the digestion soup.

Qin Jiale was skilled with her hands; after making the hawthorn soup, she first poured a bowl for each of the children to cool, then served a bowl to her sister.

"Sis, have some water to help digest." Qin Jiale placed the bowl in front of Qin Xue for her to drink.

"Hawthorn, you’re really attentive, little sis." Qin Xue hadn’t eaten, but her little sister assumed she overate. Even though she did eat a bit too much, she didn’t really need this.

However, since her sister had made it, drinking it would bring some comfort. She didn’t expect her sister to be so attentive; it was truly touching.

"I was worried you’d feel uncomfortable and not want to eat tomorrow, so I made some. The kids ate a bit too much as well, so they should drink some too." Qin Jiale thought that since her sister and her husband hadn’t eaten much, the kids might eat everything to avoid her being upset, which they actually did. She was now somewhat glad she hadn’t cooked more; otherwise, the kids might have ended up overeating.

"Yes, it’s good to have some. Thanks, little sis. You can go about your business; I’ll watch the kids." Qin Xue thought about how it was mainly Qin Jiale and Qin Yu who had been watching the children all day, so now that she was home, she should take over.
