When they heard that Shen Nian was even keeping it from Lu Cheng, Lin Jingyun and Zhang Ying immediately dropped their objections. If she was keeping it a secret even from her own man, it seemed Shen Nian was really determined to keep it under wraps until the end.

Her reason remained the same: to maintain suspense and preserve the surprise.
