Chapter 436: I Knew You Were the Best

Upon hearing Shen Nian’s words, Chu Yunze’s expression grew solemn.

Chu Lingxiu could certainly be willful on a normal day, but it was always within tolerable limits. However, the last time Shen Nian came over, Lingxiu’s behavior had left them all utterly disappointed.

’So, from what Shen Nian was implying, was Chu Lingxiu being used as a pawn?’

There was a world of difference between Chu Lingxiu acting out on her own and someone else pushing her, guiding her down the wrong path!

In the first case, they would punish her severely. In the second, they would find the truth and *then* punish the culprit severely!

Seeing that Chu Yunze understood her, Shen Nian stopped worrying about it. Letting him investigate was far more convenient than trying to do it herself.
