"Since you came all this way just to find me, why bother asking?"

Shen Nian looked at Meng Sijia and spoke. ’A love rival has come knocking, huh. Well, she can’t blame me for not being polite!’

After all, no one is expected to put on a smile for someone trying to steal their husband.

Meng Sijia had assumed Lu Cheng’s wife from the countryside would be a pushover. At the very least, her own status as the belle of the Recreation Department should have been enough to intimidate the woman.

Meng Sijia offered no further introduction. She was confident that her reputation as the belle of the company’s Recreation Department meant her name alone was enough for anyone to recognize her.

However, she had completely misjudged Shen Nian. Shen Nian had only arrived the day before and barely knew a soul.
